Message Board/window Error testing.

Hi, Does Flash have a message board/window like Director for
checking values? I am using the Watch/ debugging/output windows,
but it would be handy having a message window to query values etc.

I always thought this was because the wvfm was trashed and being (or in the queue to be) redrawn and never considered it a problem, just that the waveform overview did not exist-for me it has been no worries.

I can't get itunes update to download and install properly. I get the following message Error7(windows error 26) what can I do

I recently tried to downlad the itunes update but it would not install properly and now I have no access to itunes and all my music. I get the following messages - Error7(windows error 26) and This applicaiton has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Can anyone help me fix this issue. Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

While installing the latest iTunes i'm receiving a message Error 7 (Windows error 127) please reinstall iTunes.

I just got error message 7 windows error 126...telling me to reinstall itunes. Do I have to uninstall itunes before downloading again?

I could not open my itunes app. error message said that itunes was not installed corretly and to reinstall itunes.

Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:

(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?

ITunes will not open, get error message 7(windows error 126) this application has failed to start because d3d9.dll was not found. re-installing the application may fix this problem. well i did and did not fix anything.

this application has failed to start because d3d8thk.dll could not be found. I looked that file up and it seems its part of directx. i installed directx again but that still did not help.

That one is a DirectX 8 module and might not be included in the most recent DirectX 9 redistributable available from Microsoft. If it's been installed as part of a partial DirectX 8 install (as part of a game for example), that can cause the issue. Can you track down a full DirectX 8 redistributable? If so, if you install that, does that clear up the iTunes error?

If it's a Windows error, it's typically going to be a Microsoft problem. Uninstall any security software you have and if you have a restore point for your PC, you may want to restore your PC back to when iTunes was working normally. If none of those work you would need to contact Microsoft and demand help.

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?
