Message cannot be delivered on Q10

I keep receiving a message since yesterday saying "SMSC cannot deliver message" when texting a number I've texted for years.  All my other text messages are delivered OK.  My phone shows the symbol signifying that it's been delivered. The reciprient's phone is receiving texts from other people.  
Does anyone know why this is?  My carrier is Virgin

Can you test this? Delete the contact, have them send you a text and try to reply. If this works re add the contact. I am checking around on this too. Also have you called your carrier to report this? They may have a quick fix.

    I have been fighting this for over a week. I have even trashed my mail application and started new. I have called my ISP 3 times.... they confirm it is something with my software, not the carrier of my mail. I have been using Mail for 4 years from Apple.
    I had some other probelms last month, couldn't delete, so I ended up dumping my mail application to get rid of the mailings that kept doubling every time I used the software.
    Somehow now I cannot get my smtp outgoing mail to support authentication. I read in the discussions that it could be a blocking from my ISP, (deep stuff, from spam blocking) I will look into that during business hours. In the mean time..... any suggestions. I must tell you, there isn't to much I haven't tried.
    I have 2 other e-mail addresses, all 3 work on this computer when I use thunderbird, or my ISP mailing service. My husbands e-mail works fine also, he uses thunderbird.

    I have been fighting this mail software since July 9th.... I have removed it and reinstalled, but it just led to another situation.....
    I am not sure if I am authenticating..... I do not have a drop down box indicating it is not, but, I still cannot send mail. It goes directly to the out box.
    I do get a error, that states my SMTP cannot contact on port 25. I have gone through my carrier, we have checked out every thing, and on that end, everything is correct. And I am entered correctly on my side.
    I have done what you suggested back on Oct 1, and I still have problems. I have deleted my password, still no use, then reentered it, to the same conclusion. I am completely baffled.
    Could it be my router? D-Link ~ model DI-524
    My husband uses Thunderbird for mail, and he has no problem.... same carrier. ...... receiving or sending. Could it be blocking Port 25?

    How about the issue now?
    Except with the above suggestion, I’d like to confirm if there is any firewall in your environment. Maybe your firewall has some configuration blocking this.

    We have Exchange 2010 and Office 2010 clients. All of our users are experiencing problems when trying to send e-mails to a customer domain. After typing the email address in, a message immediately appears saying: This email cannot be delivered to
    user@domain because the email address is no longer valid. If we proceed and send the message anyway, we get the NDR shown below. I have tested from a Hotmail account and the recipient is receiving those mails
    fine, the problem is for any user at the recipients domain and from any user at our domain, I have tried using OWA and the same problem so I know it is not the cache. Does any one have any ideas as I have been pulling my hair out  ! Thanks.

    Do you mean your domain users can’t send messages to a specific domain? And users can send other external domain messages well? Also check whether you can receive external messages or not.
    Please check whether this destination domain is listed in the accepted domain of your Exchange server(EMC > Organization Configuration > Hub Transport > Accepted Domains). If it is, please remove it from the list. Additionally, since the issue happens
    to all domain users, I suggest we can collect any logs in your Exchange server to ask a question in Microsoft Exchange Server forum for more professional suggestions:

        Hmm, that's odd JeanEB. The error message referts to the connection to your email server not to cellular data or connection to wi-fi. Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars> Select your account and type in your password again. If this doesn't resolve it, delete/re-add the email account.

    Hi, I have received about 15 email messages a day from " Mail Administrator - Mail System Error Returned Mail" that emails I have not generated, cannot be delivered as the destination computer cannot be found!  These emails are in a foreign language, appears to be russian, and I have no clue who/what generates them.  It was suggested to me that it could be a virus.  I have done three scans and so far nothing malicious has been found.  Does anyone know how I can fix/stop these?

    If this is someone else's windows machine, infected, and with your contact information in their contacts, then there is little if anything you can do.  Windows machines can often become infected by mail bots that randomly send mail from the infected computer to people in the contact's database, AND using email addresses found in those contacts to spoof the "from" field in the outgoing mail.  When those messages fail, the receiving server bounces them back to you as your email was in the "from" address field.
    The only solution would be to disinfect the infected computer, but since you have no idea who (amongst all those with your contact information) is the actual infected computer, you cannot really do anything.

  • TPVS Optimizer error: "orders cannot be delivered"

    When executing TPVS Optimizer the optimization comes out with a high number of orders "that cannot be delivered". This is an initial message that appears just before it starts the capacity check.
    At the log register this message is showed as green.
    In fact that is not a problem of capacity or resource availability as when I filter only that specifics orders that weren't schedule before, the Optimizer is able to delivery any order.
    I suspect that somehow this orders are "stucked" as dirty in some internal table, due to previous optimizations. In other tests when I copied the resources (load and vehicle) and set the new resource to the Optimization Profile, the orders where delivered. But this artifice is not working anymore.
    I've already opened an OSS for SAP but they answered with Note 847234 that indicates a SCM Optimization Consulting service from SAP.

    I've tried VSCC and system consistency check. I also had sufficient vehicles available for the optimizer to plan the shipments.
    Actually I was able to schedule all orders again after creating new resources** as copies from the original ones and assigning them to the model.
    **Vehicles and loading resources - outbound at the shipping point and inbound at customers, delivery point
    As I said, this problem had happened before and at the next time it occurs I will try to use transaction SM12.
    I'll let you know the result.

    I have just been reviewing and testing assembled wisdom on this problem for which there are multiple posts. The two solutions suggested do not work for me (1) My ISP says that SMTP server settings are correctly configured for my account, port 25, no authentication etc (2) I have tried deleting the affected messages and the mail outbox file in Home/library/mail. Neither of these solutions work for me.

    it isn’t clear at all what the problem actually is...
    The problem is as described in the heading of my first post. Pop up appears with text along the lines of "Mail cannot be delivered and will stay in out tray until it's possible to deliver it." I can't send any mail. Mail never leaves the out tray. This is a recent development. Everything was working fine before.

    no, this is not related to your Action pack subscription.
    If you are the administrator of mel-relay01.ispone.net.au, verify your server logs to determine the cause of this denial.
    More likely: if this is the smtp relay  of your provider, contact them to check why your messages are rejected (probably you ended up on some blacklist) and how to resolve.

    Check in VA02 document flow, what is the status? when creating delivey in vl01n, choose the "Required Delivery date" same as in your sales order and the proper Shipping Point. Also check if there is stock in MMBE, under unrestricted use.

    Sounds like you opened and saved it in CC, so now you need to go back to CC and either complete the project there, or export to IDML to take it back into CS6.

    lots of people seem to be havgin a problem sending email from iCloud webmail.
    does your email address have uppercase characters in it?
    if so, try creating an alias in lowercase (go to preferences in iCloud webmail and select 'accounts') and see if email sends okay from that
