Metalink search on "Closing stateless severity" show some bugs.You can refer to metalink Bug No.8608687 and
Bug No. 7012477 (for 10.2.0.3).Well, i would recommend you to upgrade the database to 10.2.0.4.If you are regularly getting this you can open a SR with oracle support.

The message is in several languages and completely takes over the computer disabling the mouse and all other functions. The only option is to unplug the computer or turn it off. I'm concerned that this is a virus. It does not look like it's related to Apple or the imac OS.

That sounds like a kernel panic. These are generally hardware related, often caused by poorly seated or fauly RAM.

Repository Error Message Closed Connection

Often when I have the OWB Client open with 2 hours for example (without work) and I start again to work with it I receive the error:
Internal Error: SQL Exception. Please contact Oracle Support with the stack trace and details on how to reproduce it.
Repository Error:SQL Exception..
Class Name: CacheMediator.
Method Name: executeTransactionControlStatement.
Method Name: -1.
Repository Error Message: Closed Connection.
And I cant make COMMIT...

I think the problem could be the firewall...
I explained the problem our System Administrator and He said me that He increased the TIMEOUT of the sqlnet1 protocol to 8 hours but we have the same problem...
Do He Have to configure other parameter?

Mavericks Messages - iMessage offline when Messages closed

Hi there,
when i have Messages closed on my Mac, I cannot receive iMessages. Other iPhone Users cannot send me any iMessages. This just works when I have Messages up an running on my Mac. Is that normal? Shouldn't I be able to receive iMessages on Mavericks even if Messages isn't actually running?

How about this -- it seems like it should work though I've never personally tried it:
Do what I suggested above, which will make Notification Center not responsible for alerting you about messages.
Make the Messages app responsible for notifying you instead. Do this by opening Messages > Preferences > Alerts and making sure the event "Message Received" has the "Play a Sound" box checked with something like "Received Message" as the sound.

When I send an SMS message from my Text Message Forwarding enabled Macbook to an Android, it breaks the message up into several out of order chunks. Is there a solution to this?

I have a 2012 Macbook Air and an iPhone 5, both with up-to-date software. When I set up Text Message Forwarding, everything went according to plan, until I sent a relatively wordy text to a friend (from my Macbook) to a friend on an Android phone. It chopped the text up into several 2 line fragments, and delivered them in seemingly random order. The fragments were specifically 2 lines, and not 160 characters, which is the "limit" you used to get on old SMS messages. It continues to happen.

Are you using any emoji, or accented characters? If so, try not to. Also, I recall something about a double space at the very end of the text. Unfortunately, I don't remember if you should use them or avoid them.. Beyond that, there's not much you can do. How the text is delivered is under control of the carrier.

Notes, Reminders and messages closing app syndrome

Hi,
I noticed on ML that REminders and Notes do not have the 'normal' OSX behaviour, i.e. when you close the window, the app exits. Is this normal ? Why ?
More annoyingly messages does the same if you only have an imessage account active, so I need to keep messages window open to stay connected.
Any thoughts ?

Most of the time in any app this seems to depend on the number of windows that an App has.
It also seem more common in Apple apps.
System Info (previously System Profiler) seems to Quit on Closing the window.
As does Keychain Access, Network Utility, Calculator to mention a few.
I tested Calculator in Snow Leopard and go the same action so it has been there for some time
In Messages the iMessages account only would tend to only show the CMD + 0 "Messages" window where the Contact and text messages appear.
However I Logged Out (Disabled the "Enable this account" setting ) on all my other accounts and then went to close the Messages window and the app did not Quit.

Editing a message, splitting into several parts, adding attachment to a part

I feel stupid.
I just started a discussion with the intention of splitting my post into several parts, but it seems that I can't do that unless I "comment" on my first post. This would be OK, except that I cannot seem to be able to insert anything to these comments but images and urls. I want to attach a zip file, but I have no button to do so. The "Add Attachment" button at the bottom of the message window is appearing only for NEW POSTS (such as this one)!
Third, I can't seem to be able to edit my post which was submitted a minute ago.

I would recommend composing and refining the idea/reply offline.
Personally, I think the edit time window should be extended, but I am not sure how long it should be. It probably should not be infinite to avoid race conditions. For example if there is already an extensive discussion of the current versiont and then the idea suddenly changes 180 degrees, none of the replies would make sense anymore and people even might want to revoke their kudos. Note that I often quote the existing post (as above!) to (1) make it clear what I am replying to and (2) to keep the answer clear even if you would have edited the above sentences into something completely different in the meantime.
Historically, I think the edit window was forced to be very short to allow reasonable syncing with the newsgroup mirrors (e.g. LabVIEW forum vs. comp.lang.labview), but this is no longer an issue. What would be reasonable? 1 hour? 1 day?

For longer edit windows, we might also need an versioning control mechanism (e.g. like in wikipedia). where older version can be inspected by the public.
Minor edits can be done by the moderator at any time. This should be reserved for simple mistakes (e.g. forgetting a "not", inverting the actual meaning, or changes in the title to make it clearer.)
In general, I agree that things can be improved. We just need to find the sweet spot.

Reporting one message-text for several errors

I have a table binded to context. The table hase several rows and columns. The user can edit the values in table-cells. Now I want to make a plausibility-check for all values in the table. And if there are for example 5 errors I want to mark the error-cells red. Therefore I wrote

for every error-field. My problem is that there are 5 error-messages shown in the message-area, but I want to show only one error-message "please correct your input !". How can I do this ? How can I put out only one message in the message-area, though there are several errors ?

can you elaborate on the situation. if you define any message inside the message pool and display it using
Msgmngr.reportcontextattributeMessage(elemnt,attributeinfo,IMessage<compname>.test,new Object [] ,false) , it'll only display the error message with id 'test' only once. just check if you are writing this code inside a loop.

An unexpected erros has occurr that this application cannot recover from. It will now close.
Exception Type: Class RException
Additional Information: CNotification Service Poller Thred-Run
What: Failed to create dir
C/Users/verizon/roaming...ect.
Some one please help. I contacted customer service and was told that i have a virus. I went into my security suite and deleted a bunch of "Trojan" files that were detected as viruses, and i still get this pop-up. Please, if someone knows how i can fix this myself please let me know.

What virus protection are you using? I use Avast free version. Also make sure your signature files are updates.
Also scan for spyware. Good software malwarebytes.
After you make use you have these installed, run you computer in safe mode while scanning.

OEM event e-mail message delayed by several days.

Here's a weird one, an event occured on 8/2/2006 it was a schedluled database bounce. The event shows up in the OEM event log, however the email notification was not sent until 8/11/2006.
Has anyone had a similar thing happen to them, this is 9i version of OEM that's been working fine for several years with no problems.

Another thing you can do is to check if it is simply reading the last even in alert rather than sending it late. e.g Although today is 14th August, this alert includes the previous trail up to 31st July

Where to search for pending alerts..is there any view?

I am using oracle 10g (10.2.0.4) on RHEL 4 update 7.
I have one question related to DB console, I have configured EM alerts for "Archive alert hung alert log error" metric. I configured my SMTP on DEC, but today I am getting alerts of dated 10th of NOV like below:
EM Alert: Clear: cmfn - Closing stateless severity.
Dont understand why its giving too late reply for this alert as "CLEAR".
Ideally when I configured my SMTP in DEC then at the same time it should sent all these pending/queued "critical/warning/clear" alerts.
I have checked through DBA_ALERT_HISTORY and DBA_OUTSTANDING_ALERTS but didnt seems any pending alert of NOV month.
Can any one suggest me?

Thanks for your suggestion, finally I got the solution for how to clear the pending alerts so there is no more pending dates emails in your mailbox.
I search it and find it out that those pending data comes from three tables: MGMT_CURRENT_SEVERITY, MGMT_SEVERITY_ANNOTATION, and MGMT_NOTIFICATION_LOG. The easiest way to delete from the driving table is to use a GUI tool such as SQL Manager or Toad. Delete the row, commit the transaction, refresh OEM, and the message will be gone.
This perfectly works for me. But one new problem arise that I dont see any operating system related error on OEM first page, as I had already a mail which stating that "/" partiton is having only 2G space remainig but when I checked with OEM ("RElated Alerts") there was not any alerts. what could be the reason?

Window stating the maximum number of tabs have been opened. Even when several are closed the message continues to appear.

As noted above, upon attempting to open a new tab or a program, which attempts to open a new tab, after 10 to 15 tabs have been opened (most of which I would like to keep open) a window opens indicating the maximum tabs have been opened. The window offers to close all tabs or for me to close several. After closing (reluctantly) several windows, attempting to open a new tab still results in the maximum window appears

Turn off Messages -- When Messages is Closed

I recently installed Yosemite. Now even when I have Messages closed (quit -- not just the window closed) I get message alerts popping up on my screen. I have this off when I need to WORK and not be disturbed. I want an application to not bother me when it's off. I don't want notifications off ALL the time. Just when Messages is closed.

"Today" view refers to when you click the notifications icon (top right), there is a "today" and "notifications" view at the top of the notification centre. If you don't see this, you're not running Yosemite.

How to show messages in a little popup ?

The calling component is BT111H_OPPT.
Whenever I want to show the message in my popup that the mandatory fields are not filled with information the systems only shows them on the view of BT111H_OPPT when I closed my popup.
