On an iPhone 4, how do I delete a SMS without opening and reading it (unsollicited SMS)?

As far as I understand, there's no way to delete without reading.
I unsuccessfully tried to do it.
For my sake, my contract makes all incoming SMS free of charges. I only pay for the SMS I send.

What’s the client version on the recipient’s side?
Does the recipient use AutoArchive to save the outlook data?
When a message is archived, it's copied to the archive file, then deleted from the server.
If the message was not saved to the Archive, where the message go to?
Please update the exchange server to latest patch.
What’s more, do you mean change the text message of ‘was deleted without reading’ to the mobile devices? If yes, I couldn’t find a way to change the text messages.

I need to know how to open the messages app without reading a message someone sent to me..

I have my read receipts on because I like for people to know that I got their messages (most of the time).. But somebody texted me and I don't want to read their message. If I tap the messages app, then it will automatically pull that message up. Is there any way I can set my phone to where I can click the messages app to create a new message without reading the one this person sent to me?

Turn off Send Read Receipts. Then open the Messages app.

Messages Deleteing after Reading

As of yesterday after reading email from my work Exchange 2010 server the messages disappear from my BB Tour. My Yahoo, Hotmail and Gmail account are not doing this after reading messages. There have not been any changes to the Exchange server or BB and cannot find any information on what may be causing this or what settings to change.

Email gets sent to a shared mailbox with a read receipt called for e.g.
[email protected] and everything goes into [email protected] goes into another shared mailbox called
[email protected] The user who has access to
[email protected] delete the e-mail without being read and the sender receives an email back saying you:

How do I view a message in the reading pane without first having to open the message?

On my previous e-mail system, I was able to read the text of an incoming message in the reading pane below the selection of incoming messages without first having to open the incoming message about which I was curious. This had the advantage of allowing me to review and delete messages that appeared to be suspicious to me without first opening them and exposing my computer to the danger of an incoming & unwanted virus, etc. I am not able to do this with the new e-mail system and I an unable to find instructions on how to do this with your "Help" inquiry. Does Firefox have this capability? If so, how do I access it?

Firefox has no email features, it is just a web browser.
If you are using a web based email service such as Gmail or Hotmail, you will need to contact the support for the email service to see if they offer the feature that you want. Any email features will be part of the web based email service.

Lord K. Thank you. Yes I am within the 90 time period, however I travel Intertionally and I can not receive not make a call to Apple. I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me. My messages were in folders for a lawsuit. It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea. We are talking thousands of pages! I the defendent will have them during discovery so I am not so worried. Google Chrome is a problem:
if you use Chrome's own PDF viewer, the results are unpredictable.
if you use the Adobe Reader plugin with Chrome, it may reject (block) it if it is not the latest version. Reader 11.0.08 is the latest version for Windows XP, but Chrome may insist on the current version 11.0.10.
My suggestion; use a different browser!

Actually your suggestions are the ones that i have tried. i have seen that you have tried to help others with this issue and the only one that i could find that said they found the problem said that it was an ilife update issue and it fixed it and i have no available updates. i know it has to do with something in photo stream because it happens when i create a new library and it is loading the photos but i get the message before i reach the maximum 1000 photos. so i've tried updating, new library(first backing up photos and then deleting them from iPhoto), reinstalling OSX many times, running disc utilities. I called Apple the first day i had this issue and i was the first person to call them for support with the retina display and i actually had it escalated to a senior advisor and we thought we fixed the problem but we did not. i am pretty fluent in dealing with troubleshooting these type of issues and this is the first time i'm reaching out to the community. i figured now that the retina has been out some time now that there would be an obvious answer to this issue. thanks for the quick reply.

Undo Message Delete command is sometimes present, sometimes not

I've noticed that sometimes the Undo Message Delete command is present after I delete a message
but other times it isn't - all that's there is Undo which is greyed out. Does anyone know the conditions
under which the Undo Message Delete command appears? I haven't found any consistent pattern.
I know the message can be manually moved back from the Trash but I've found that occasionally I've inadvertently
deleted a message without knowing which message it is which makes it rather hard to find in the Trash.

Which Fx version? When you uninstalled Fx, did you reboot computer before reinstall?
Also, check for / delete any leftover files in the Fx programs install folders, before reinstall?
Is your profile in the default location or custom location?
Have you tried creating a new, completely clean profile - to test (then make sure to select that profile to start Fx - from the Profile Manager)? (no addons or plugins installed).
Does the user acct (that Fx fails under) have access ("rights") to all locations - especially for Fx profiles location?

Emails, Call Logs and BlackBerry Messenger messages deleted

Almost exactly 2 years from the date I got my BlackBerry Curve 8300, my emails, call logs and BlackBerry Messenger messages keeps getting deleted without notice. The BlackBerry then stalls until I remove the battery and I log on again. Can anyone help me idetify the problem and how I can resolve this?
