Hi,
In REM backflush, this message appear :
"Changed REM profile regarding generation of postprocessing records"
In MF47, in postprocessing list for component on production line, i have this message two and also :
Backflush contains discrepancies for material X with version Y
What i have to do to clear this error.

Changed REM profile regarding generation of postprocessing records
Message no. RM887
Diagnosis
An assembly for which postprocessing records already exist was confirmed or postprocessed. In the existing postprocessing records, there is an inconsistency between the individual records and the cumulated records.
A possible reason is that the setting "Error correction for backflush -> generate additional individual postprocessing records" was changed in the repetitive manufacturing profile of the assembly in the current settings.
However, an inconsistency between individual records and cumulated records can also be caused by a program error.
System response
You can only execute the transaction when the existing inconsistencies are fixed.
Procedure
If the described change to the repetitive manufacturing profile exists, take the following steps:
Check the setting for generating postprocessing records in the repetitive manufacturing profile of the assembly. Reverse the change and postprocess all postprocessing records of the assemblies to which this profile is assigned. This repetitive manufacturing setting can only be changed when no more postprocessing records exist. You can then carry out confirmation successfully.
If the repetitive manufacturing profile has not been changed regarding the generation of postprocessing records:
Start a CSN note search with the key word 'RM887' and continue as is described there.

But, I didn't change the REM profile.

While doing MFBF (via BAPI) I am getting error "change rem profile regarding generation of postprocessing records" Message No RM 887. I am using same REM profile for many other materials for which MFBF is working fine. There are no COGI errors pendings for the materials for which I am gettinh error. But in MF47 there are some pending records which I neither can change nor delete. So I have two issues here:
1) How to adress error in MFBF?
2) Why records are seen in MF47 and not in COGI?
Note: for these materials, when I run the transaction MFBF manually, the confirmation is created. Via BAPI, the error described above occurs.

This is generally a database inconsistency.
Please implement and run the report ZINCON_REPROC from the following note, in order to clear inconsistent records that may be causing this issue:
383141 - RM887, RM757: Collect. note inconsistent postprocessing recs
The report should be executed for all the components to clear inconsistent NProc. records

Unable to Log-in *SAP System Message : Error while reading a Dynpro*

We are facing issues while logging-in through SAP logon 710.
The system throws an error dialog box with the below message:

Hello Daniela,
you try to perform an offline backup (which is a very uncommon way nowadays) and your SAP system is not down.
This is also described in the official documentation:

offline: Database backup in offline mode, in other words, the database is shut down during backup. When you select this parameter, BRBACKUP checks that no SAP system users are connected to the database. If an SAP System is active, the database is not shut down and BRBACKUP terminates the process with an error message (message number BR0068E).

Need suggestion on implementing JMS message error recovery

Our application has a JMS topic where we publish application events. Now, there can be scenarios where the consumers cannot process the message due to some infrastructure issues and would error out. We need a way so that those messages can be reprocessed again later. we are thinking of the following design for JMS message error recovery
1. Use a persistent TOPIC (this would ensure guaranteed delivery)
2. Configure a error destination on JMS topic e.g a jms queue
3. Have an error handling MDB listening to the Error destination. An error handling MDB would dequeue the errored messages from error destination and persist it to a Data base "error" table..
4. Provide a mechanism to republish those messages to topic (e.g a scheduler or admin ui or a command line utility) .. The messages would deleted from database "error" table and published to topic again....
A. Are there any issues with the above design which we need to handle?
B. Are there any additional steps required in a Cluster environment with a distributed topic and distribute error destination? (our error mdb will have one-copy-per-application setting)
B. From a performance angle, Is it OK to use persistent TOPIC ? Or will it better to persist the message to the db table and then publish it as a non persistent message ... ? (But i guess the performance should be more or less the same in both of these approaches)
C. Are there any other recommended design patterns for error recovery of JMS messages
Please advise.

We may not be able to go with the approach of delaying/pausing redelivery of the messsage because
1. Pausing entire MDB approach: Our MDB application consumes messages generated by different producers and our MDB needs to continue processing the messages even if messages corresponding to one producer is erroring out
2. Redelivery delay : This would only delay the retry of an errored message. But there would still be a problem if the message fails during all retries (i.e redelivery limit count). We don't want to lose this message. In our case, It is possible that a particular message cannot be processed due to unavailability of a third party system for hours or may be a day.
Basically, i am looking on approaches for a robust and performant error recovery/retry framework for our application (refer details in my first post on this thread) while fully making use of all features provided by middleware (WLS). Please advise.

When trying to work with Agilent 34401A multimeter (serial RS-232 connection), HP34401A Getting Started.vi gives always the message: "Error 1073807369 occurred at Old VISA Open ".

Baud rate and parity are set correctly, RS-232 cable is also connected correctly. My QuickBasic program has no problems to read and write to the Multimeter. It is obviously a software problem: the same error is persistent if I disconnect RS-232 cable.
I downloaded NI-VISA 2.6 for Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000/XP frorm digital.ni.com and installed it. But it did not help.

If you use ZoneAlarm Extreme Security then try to disable Virtualization.
Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder.

The updater wasn't able to update all the files and some were left as older versions.<br />
Do a clean reinstall.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

You may get better results if you switch to this alternate version: iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) and, if needed, reinstall QuickTime. The new (nearly) all 64-bit version doesn't seem to play well with QuickTime. Perhaps if DRM authentication is required QuickTime needs to be able to see something that is part of the older 32-bit code.

Hi Uday,
This problem can occur if you changed the query definition.
In this case the query definition would be inconsistent with the existing extract structure.
Certain Meta information is maintained with each extract defined using the RSCRM_BAPI. If the definition of the query is changed and you need to use the same extract table then you need to delete the extract using the report RSCRMBW_DEL_ALL_EXTRACTS selecting the extract you want
to delete.
After this you could use the same table name for any further extract that you need to create.
One caution is that the extract table should not be deleted through any other transaction before you run the report.

You haven't mentioned which version of PSE. If it is PSE 13, that requires a minimum of windows 7.
