Message flag properties
There's no way to change message flag properties other than by setting a date. This is basically useless, and needs to be like it once was on my Bold. I depend on setting a specific date and time to respond to messages and without the flag properties, I'm having to use calendar reminders.
Note to developers;
You can always give me more, but never give me less!
Hi charley954 and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!
Although you can't set a date from the message itself, once you flag it, it appears in the Flagged Messages section of the Remember application, in which you can set a due date.
Thanks!

Junk mail-why don't I have an option for Is junk mail in messages flag not junk mail
I have a brown coloured email which has been accurately diagnosed as junk mail, but when I go to Messages>flag>...the only two options I have are "not junk mail" and "mark as unread" yet in the help support it says that it should have "junk mail" there too. So far I cant mark it as junk mail - so I usually just delete them. Any advice please? Thank you.
Have you studied Mail prefernces? If not, go to Mail > preferences > Junk mail and check out the options there. Alternately, click on the 'info' question mark and follow up anything you are currently unsure of.

Message Context properties in Biztalk database Tables
Hello,
I want to retrieve messase, and status of msg and receive file Name using stored procedure
can anybody knows where these Message Context properties got stored in BizTalk databases.
Thanks.I'll just warn again that querying the MessageBox like this is not supportable and this query has the
potential for some undesirable side-effects.
The correct way to accomplish what you appear to be trying is through WMI and there are many examples of prebuild queries that give you exactly what you need, including the Message Context.
Here are some examples:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/biztalknotes/archive/2013/05/22/saving-suspended-messages-using-wmi-powershell-and-the-microsoft-biztalk-operations-assembly-part-i.aspx
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/biztalknotes/archive/2013/10/02/saving-suspended-messages-using-wmi-powershell-and-the-microsoft-biztalk-operations-assembly-part-ii.aspx
You can also create a listener for Suspended Message event using WMI:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa577357.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396
Basically, do not try to query the MessageBox directly. -
Message Missing Properties : [serviceURL]
Hi All,
I have been trying to setup Oracle EM to monitor my OSB Domain. I installed the Oracle Grid Control on a separate server and then installed the Agent on the Target Machine where i have my Oracle OSB Domain.
Once i conifgured my Oracle Domain in the Middleware Targets I could see that the OSB that i had deployed was also added as one of the monitored targets. However when i click on that OSB it shows me an error.
Has anyone any idea on what this error is and how can it be resolved?

Edited by: Codean on Sep 16, 2011 12:03 PMHi,
What version on OSB and Grid Control are you using.... If it's Gc 11.1.0.1 and FMW 11.1.0.2 or higher
You will need GC PSU 4 patches, MLR 3 patch and another patch to fix a metric issue for FMW

Please, anyone out there, any ideas on how to cure the problem? -
Reference texts in messages.en.properties file
Hi,
I've got a peculiar issue. I'm trying to access a variable/property/reference
in my VM file like below:
<p class="warning">${FailureWarning}</p>
And FailureWarning is defined in messages.en.properties file as
# Custom Warning Messages
FailureWarning=Session status fail, additional data entry not permitted
However, when rendered on the UI, the message is contained with square
brackets. This does not happen with any other text (if I were to change the
value for FailureWarning).
[Session status fail, additional data entry not permitted]
Does the text hold a special meaning in OPA/Velocity rendering?
Regards,
AjayEach message is treated like any other key and value in Velocity. A value will consist of either a string *or* a comma-separated list of strings (see Velocity - Developer's Guide). What you have defined is a list consisting of 2 strings - "Session status fail" and " additional data entry not provided", so Velocity will render these values within square brackets to indicate this is a list of strings. You need to escape the comma with a preceding '\' to have Velocity treat this as a single string:
# Custom Warning Messages
FailureWarning=Session status fail\, additional data entry not permitted
You will see the escaped comma in the values for case-saved-label, NullTemplateError and NoActiveSessionError.
Hope this helps,

Setting de-batched message specific message context properties in custom disassembler
I have recently created a custom disassemble component which can handle a message batch. The message batch can contain multiple messages and the custom component during de-batching recognizes this and does appropriate disassembly. All this is working fine.
The issue I have is that in the disassembler in the disassembled message part I copy the base message context, then assign additional properties. This is resulting in the context of the base message getting modified and as a result, all messages come into
BizTalk with the same context (which is wrong) but the correct message data.
So I could trace it to the statement debatchedMessage.Context = pInMsg.Context. It is not the copy but the reference which is being passed which is causing an overwrite and causing me grief.
Anybody else noticed this behavior? or perhaps knows of a fix? or perhaps knows of a method which will allow me to
COPY the message context?
Regards.What you are seeing is the expected behavior. You are correct:
debatchedMessage.Context = pInMsg.Context
merely assigns the context as a reference.
There is no shortcut to copying the context properties as there is in an Orchestration so you have to copy them one by one:
for (int i = 0; i < pInMsg.Context.CountProperties; i++)
string Name
string Namespace;
object PropValue = pInMsg.Context.ReadAt(i, out Name, out Namespace);
if (pInMsg.Context.IsPromoted(Name, Namespace))
outMsg.Context.Promote(Name, Namespace, PropValue);
else
outMsg.Context.Write(Name, Namespace, PropValue); -

New Message output properties - Print parameters
This is reg output message determination
When configuring new message type, in properties there is a tab called 'Print', where print parameter field need to be populated with 'Purchasing Group'
When i mistakenly put blank, messages were generating, green, but not able to transmit
When Purchase group is give, it working fine
Can some one please suggest why it is very important and what it exactly do
Thanks in advanceHi,
In standard SAP, the print parameters can be defined for:
Sales organization/distribution channel/division
Sales organization
Purchasing group (this is MM related)
and User
If you assign print parameters to a purchasing group, you maintain output device for each Purchase group (transmission medium)
when you keep it blank, system fails to determine output devices and message does not transmit.
in simple words, assigning purchase group to print parameter in 'Print' tab enables the output devices to assign to purchasing group.

Importing Entourage 2008 mailboxes into Mail.app loses message flags
I'm in the process of migrating my data from Entourage 2008 to Mail, iCal and Address Book. The problem is that when I use Mail.app's built-in import from Entourage feature, the messages lose their flag status (read, unread, replied, forwarded, etc) in Mail.app. Does anyone know of a way to preserve this information? Cheers
Well there are some suggested solutions on here if you search for them. Hoever, I eventually worked around it by just importing a section of my old email at a time. A bit tedious, but it worked.

One mail client's outgoing messages flagged as SPAM
Hi again,
I have a new problem that has cropped up. Our company is multi-location. 8 of our locations are able to relay outgoing mail through our mail server with no problems whatsoever. The only major difference in this location is that it's running a new Intel iMac with Snow Leopard. All the other clients are PPC's with Leopard.As it turns out, the problem was with the router configuration. Instead of having the computer on a private network behind the router, the computer was given the public IP address. I'm not sure how this relates to how the message and its header are interpreted by spamassassin, but reconfiguring the network and using NAT to allow incoming traffic to the computer seems to have resolved the problem.
I would love for someone who knows about this stuff to respond, although technically my problem is resolved.

How can I make IMAP message flags (replied, forwarded) update regularly ?
Several Macs are connecting to the same (Citadel) IMAP-server here. The problem is that if someone replies to an existing message the "replied to" flag (little arrow in the message list) is only showing up on the other machines if I restart mail.app on them.
Even manual synchronization via the Mailbox/Synchronize.. does not update the flags. The same applies to the other flags (forwarded, read).
How can I configure mail.app to automatically synchronize these flags ?I will clarify. I would like to select emails that are either:
Replies to recently sent mail. This isn't perfect, since some messages are not important, so I don't need to know right away that there's a reply.
or
Replies to specific messages that I would mark as important within Mail.app, somehow. I don't specifically want to mark the messages with an !important flag, since that would impose on the recipient, and there's no way to guarantee that they will reply with the !important flag intact.
I suppose that I might use Contacts groups and add the "currently important" people to a specific group, then select the messages from people in that group, but that is not exactly optimal, since I'd have to maintain that group manually. -
Hi all,
What is the best practice for extracting massage flow properties into some external file?
I have created stage that reads external XML file, but I don't like that it reads it every time. Is there any built in mechanism to use standard properties file?
Regards,
EmirEmir,
I'm not sure if you're asking how to WRITE or READ from files. Writing is simply a matter of calling a business service with the file transport. You'll only write files when the service is called.
Reading, however, does use an interval. But you've probably found that you have a lot of control of how often it tries to find new files, what to do with them after it's been read - and even how many files to read at once. If those are the properties you're seeking you have the right at hand.
If you're trying to read a file with parameters, don't use the file-transport. Create an XML file with your configuration data in it, name it "config.xq" and in your proxy flow simply create an assign statement that uses the config.xq as the source. The result will be that the content of your configuration file is now placed in the variable and you can use it in your flow.
