Message from R3/ECC

Hi Experts,
Scenario is for ISA-ECC.
We are recieving the message Id, Type, Num from ECC to the JAVA layer.
Is there any way that we could capture the Message Id, Num.
My intention is to check for the message  number and display the custom message.
Custom message will be maintained in the resource key file.
There is something i encountered ui.getMessageString on the confirm.jsp.
Is their any possibility to change the message from the backend itself. Backend is ECC.
Experts,
Please help to resolve this issue.
Please let me know if more info is required.
Best regards,
Rohit Sharma

  • Capture Message from R3/ECC

    Hi Experts,
The scenario is eith the system CRM 7.0 with ERP Sales order  - B2B Ecommerce.
We have a requirement wherein "Static Credit Check" message needs to be captured. The message is coming from R3.
In turn of this standard message i need to display a generic message at the JSP level (confirmation page).
What is the detailed procedure to achieve this ?
    Please help .
    Best regards,

    Hi Rohit,
If you want to do it at JSP level then try to find how your message get displayed? i.e. it how your JSP get the message text.
If it retrieve through some method and that method returns some resource key then try to store it into some string variable and then compare it with text and if match then replace it with your custom Message.
Suppose your message display through resource key b2b.message1 then store this value in some String variable VAR1.
Retrieve resource key before display message and store it into variable VAR2 then compare VAR1 & VAR2 if both are same then display your custom message by replacing value in VAR2 and use VAR2 value to display message.
I hope this info will help you to solve your issue.

  • Creating Support Messages from Satellite System without SolMan user account

    Hi
We are having some problems with users "creating support message" from our ECC system  to SolMan, if the user does not have a user account in Solution Manager.
It is not correct, that users from Satellite systems can create support messages from these systems, without the user having an account in Solution Manager? And that the user is identified by the business partner for the user, that must exist in the Solution Manager system ?
We have set up the RFC for the supportmessages between SolMan and the ECC system as trusted RFC, with the "Current user" as the user, but how should this be set up, if the user does not have an account in the Solution Manager system. If we enter a user with the right authorizations in the RFC, will the messages that come through not just appear as created by that user, instead of the ECC user and corresponding business partner ?
    Regards
    Lars

    Hi,
you can use the use the user for the RFC-Connection in that case. I have customizied a similar scenario. In my scenario the System from which the message was created, is the business partner (SOLD-TO-PARTY). For that you have to create a communication user (i.e SOLMAN<SYSID>). In TA SM59 in the satellite-system you assign this user for the connection. (Don't forget to assign the user to the role "SAP_SV_FDB_NOTIF_BC_ADMIN"). Now, it schould be possible to create messages from the satellite system to the solution manager. Additionally you should create business-partner for each user of the satellite system, by using TA DSWP>EDIT>CREATE BUSINESS PARTNER.
With this TA, it is easy to create BP for each satellite system.

  • Sending 2 messages from SAP but get 1 message in PI

    Hi all,
This is a bit of a strange one but I have the situation where we send two idocs at the same time from a SAP ECC system to PI. The first idoc is processed but the second one just dissapears. Things I have checked:
SMQ1/SMQ2 on both systems - nothing there
Runtime workbench - the successful one is there but no failed messages
Sending two messages from another ECC system - we do get both messages - but this is a different interface (however the one with the problem is just a copy of the one which works)
Any ideas what this could be or what else I should be checking?
    Kind regards
    Ben

    Hi Mark,
Thanks for your quick reply. I have checked idx5 and there is only one message/TID from the sending system.
The other ECC system is owned by a different department so I will ask them to run SM58 to see if anything is stuck in there as well

  • What are the best ways (for best performance) in MII to process the incoming process messages from shop floor systems to SAP ECC 6.0 and vice versa?

    Hi All,
Can you please suggest to choose the best ways (for best performance) in MII (12.2 on NW 7.3), to process the incoming process messages from shop floor systems to SAP ECC 6.0 and vice versa?
    Thanks

    Hi Surya,
Best practices for flow of data from ECC --> SAP MII --> Shop floor & Vice verse:
    1. Send ECC data through IDOC's/RFC's as messages to SAP MII message listener and BSL transaction process data and update directly on shop floor database as if you configured in Data services or later send those data by web service to shop floor system (i.e. depends on Shop floor machines).
    From Shop floor:
shop floor --> SAP MII --> ECC
    1. Use either Web service or fetch data from DB and pass data to BAPI's  for sending to ECC through BLS transaction.

    Hi!
    Many thanks for your answer.
Via BD87 on BW system I detect that all the IDOC's (type: RSRQST) will be received from SAP ECC system.
Via tcode SM58 I could not detect any entries.
However the loading status from yesterday is set to "red".
    The errors are:

  • Support Message from satelite system: Reported By field blank only from BI

    Hi,
I have configured the Incident Management for solman 7.1 with SP12. I am using the transaction type ZMIN that is a copy of SMIN.
In our landscape are two satelite systems: BI and ECC
When I create a message from managed/satellite system via HELP>Create Support Message, it comes to Solman the field "Reported By" is not filled automatically if I created the message from BI. The Creation from ECC works fine: the field "Reported By" is filled automatically.
The system data is fetched up correctly and it includes the system info, component code and all details. Even the Support Team Determination with BRF+ is working fine.
Not successful actions to solve the problem:
    - I tried some access sequences in Partner Determination for "Reported By":
         - Preceeding Document -> Reporter -> Current User
         - User
    - Checked IB52
    - Checked DNO_CUST04
No_User_CHECK; No Existence Check for User; field value:X
    - Checked BP (Generated with BP_GEN):
identification in BP seems correct (I added created/expiry date manually)
    - Checked BCOS_CUST.
    - Checked Read RFC.
Has someone an idea what the problem could be?
Thank You for your effort in advance,
    Beda

    Hi,
    1) Under identification tab in external BP no. put details as
    <Server short name>space<client>space<search term
(which you have maintained in address tab or employee no.
of that user in satellite system)>
    2) In ID type put CRM001
    3) Under identification put details as <Server short
    name>space<installation no.>space<client>space<search
term (which you have maintained in address tab or
employee no. of that user in satellite system)>
4)Go to trns. BP>select BP role as "Employee"> Indentification tab--> Maintain user name same as user id of employee in satellite system or serch term you maintained while creating BP.
Try this. Reward the points for useful answer.

  • Ibase/Component issue while creating a message from satillite system

    Hi experts,
we have implemented the service desk functionality in solution manager system.
User is able to create message in solution manager directly.
While creating message from a satellite system IBASE/component fields are filled with incorrect values.
Because of this user unable to create message from satillite system.
Has someone any ideas where we do some settings to get correct Ibase/Component values while creating message from satillite system?
    Thank you in advance,
    Babu

    Hi  Babu,
For Creating messages in SOLMAN make sure that in T code SM30  under the table BCOS_CUST data is maitained
    OSS_MSG     W     NONE     CUST620     1.0
First your should make your solman ready for posting issues within.
Then connect it to ECC systems and try posting issues there.
Do not user Tcode NOTIF_CREATE for posting issues  always use HELP- Create Support message.
    Thanks

  • Messages Stuck in ECC SMQ2

    Hello Experts,
I have a scenario like File system to PI to SAP ECC 6.0 in Asynchronous mode.
Messages are successfully processed in PI.
    Issue:-
In Server Proxy Method, I have used the ABAP Information message statement (Message with TYPE I). When this statement is being executed at runtime, that particuler inbound message is getting stucked in SMQ2 with status as SYSFAIL.
Each Such Failure entry in SMQ2 having the Error Text same as Message Text of the ABAP Statement.
For Example: 'No Data Found from Table1'.
Due to this, messages from the other interfaces also get stucked.
please suggest me for handling the INformaiton messages in ABAP coding and also for Automatically restarting the queues.

  • BPM - Unable to generate message from BPM in PI

    Hello Experts,
I am using a test scenario using BPM which has only two steps Receive and Send step. The scenario flow looks like  File-> BPM-> ECC. File posted from the external file system is picked up by PI processed successfully and sent to teh Integartion Process.
However the later part i.e BPM is supposed to receive this processed message (MATMAS) and send it to ECC. There is no PI message generated for BPM -> ECC part.
I have ticked the Start Process flag in Receive step. Am i missing something else?
    Kindly advice.

  • Bank Communication Management - Incoming messages from Banks

    Hi,
We are using Bank communication management. When we send our ACH and Wire files to the bank, the bank sends two confirmations: 1. First confirmation says that the file is received. 2. Second confirmation sends the total number of items and total amount in the payment file.
I have done the necessary configuration in BCM in the step shown below:
Financial Supply Chain Management ® Bank Communication Management ® Payment Status Management ® Map External Status to Internal Status
How do I update this in the payment monitor (T-CODE - BNK_MONI)?
    SAP says
You must connect the XI system to the ERP system. The interface Collective Payment Order Notification must be set up. What is this interface 'Collective payment order notification' and where should I set it up?
Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.
    Kalyan

    Hi Ankish,
As mentioned by Kalyan above (check suggestions from SAP in his comment), you should use the interface Collective Payment Order Notification given by SAP in ESR (Enterprise Service Repository) SAP APPL (SAP APPL 6.05). If your PI environment doesnot have it then you need to request yuor basis to download this from SAP.
After you download the ESR , you can find the standard Service interface called "CollectivePaymentOrderNotification_In" under Namespace http://sap.com/xi/APPL/Global2 .
Now once you have this interface downloaded,  create a new message mapping using the message Type "CollectivePaymentOrderNotification_async" as Target,  and your message  from BANK or SWIFT (uploaded into PI as external definition) as source. Map the required fields , mainly map the external status code from BANK to ExecutionStatusCode field. Also map the required header fields.
Once you create the new mapping , create required Integration builder objects and you are all set.
The CollectivePaymentOrderNotification interface is proxy in ECC which has required methods to update the BCM with the status.
Also please check below links for more information.

  • Sending Messages from Integration Processes

    Dear All,
I have a problem in that my client wishes to send a message from XI via the Send Step in a BPM to a Proxy call on the target SAP system (ECC 6.0), the only problem is, is that they wish to monitor that all iDocs generated achieved a set percentage success rate < %80, if this is the case then the next message is sent from within the same BPM and so on until all 3 messages are successfully sent. If anyone of the 3 messages fail for whatever reason, the whole process must abort. Does anyone have a suggestion how this might be possible whilst retaining message persistance ?
Really stuck and thanks in advance...

I sometimes have the same problem . I tried to reconnect my wifi router and everythings turn back to work again . I don't know why it is .

  • Sending IDOC from SAP ECC to SAP MII

    Hello,
    Issue while configuring.
I have configured the RFC Destination in the Netweaver message listener and when i check the connection in SM59 I got  error as timeout during allocate of registered program and I have attached the screenshot of the error page.
I would request a reply asap.
    Thanks,
    Praveen

    Hi Praveen,
First, I would suggest that you identify what version, and SP, of MII and ECC.  Also the NW version and SP if applicable.
Second, use this custom Google search and terms MII, IDoc Listener, and perhaps SM59.  There are many discussions on IDoc Listeners going back a number of years.  Many of the issues with IDoc Listeners have not changed in most of that time, so look at the older ones as well.  I presume that you found and are using my How to Send an IDoc from SAP ECC to the SAP MII IDoc Listener (MII 12.1 to ECC 6.0) to set up your Listener?  If not, you should review your configuration and setup procedure against it.
I have not looked at MII 14.0 or 15.0, but understand that the configuration of Listeners really has not changed since MII 12.1.  So the document is still applicable.
Third, roughly 90% of the problems experienced with IDoc Listeners involve multiple uses of the self registering ProgID.  Deleting it in one place, generally does not work.  Use it in one place only.  Create a new ProgID for each separate Listener (either type) on each separate MII instance for each ECC instance.  Save yourself a lot of headaches.  Never, ever reuse ProgIDs!!!
Fourth, most of the other issues involve a PI/XI system in the middle.  Those are a bit more complicated since they rely on getting the connection configuration set up properly in PI.  Since I am not that familiar with PI systems (most times it is not involved with the Listeners), I generally have to get other experts involved.  Sometimes a CSS ticket is required.
