Message goes to 2 systems incorrectly
Hi,
I have a scenario from SAP to Destination system. The problem is that I have 2 production systems, the other is a DRP and normal Prod. When I send messages from SAP to Prod, some manage to get into DRP. I am using the same Program ID(Created on sm59), could this be the cause of the problem?
Regards
Scharlotte
Hi Scharlotte,
Yes! Program ID might be causing this problem.
Is your DRP is also running on same hostname? Then this will be the problem.
Program ID will just check in which system it is active and running. If it is running on both servers with same configuration then it will start communicating to both the server.
To resolve the problem change the program ID on DRP system or Isolate the system from production environment.

Application messages are in the system log instead of the application log
Hi SAP GURUS.
The standard output is created from the outbound delivery .
All the messages are hitting the system log instead of the application log .
This is after the upgrade from 4.6c to ECC 6.0 .
Please provide the details how to move the log to the application log since the output is the standard output (SAP provided output type ).verzunof wrote:
Hello,
My system.log is filled with these messages, they repeat every second.
Jan 21 18:31:47 Maki-Mac kernel[0]: AppleFWOHCI_AsyncReceive::waitForDMA - context not going inactive.
Jan 21 18:31:47 Maki-Mac kernel[0]: AppleFWOHCI_AsyncTransmit::waitForDMA - context not going inactive.
Do these messages indicate a problem? If so what that could be problem and the solution?
Can this contribute to the sleep/wakeup problem when iMac won't wakeup after being put to sleep manually and not sleeping according to Power Saving settings?
Thanks a lot.

I'm not certain if those messages indicate a power issue but you can try *resetting the System Management Controller* and see if that helps. Here's how: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1806
"The System Management Controller (SMC) is a chip on the logic board that controls all power functions for your computer. If your computer is experiencing any power issue, resetting the SMC may resolve it. The SMC controls several functions, including:
Telling the computer when to turn on, turn off, sleep, wake, idle, and so forth.
Handling system resets from various commands.
Controlling the fans."

I have OVS 3.x.x and OVM 3.x.x running on the same physical server. I had some issues trying to configure storage via OVM and I issued a shutdown (I think) from the OVM Web Interface. Now I am unable to keep the server up and running. Everytime I turn on the server, after Oracle VM Manager starts, it shuts down the server automatically within a minute or two after startup.
I am able to login to the server via Putty and stop ovmm service manually. When Oracle VM Manager service is stopped, (SERVICE OVMM STOP) the server does not shutdown automatically. However as soon as I restart the OVMM service, it shuts down the server with message...
Shutdown requested by OVM. The system is going down for system halt NOW!
How do I find out what is causing OVM to issue the shutdown command and edit and fix via command line?Since your server was continually rebooting, do you remember if you issued a shutdown or reboot from OVM web interface? Mine was just shutting down. Have you tried to use the Oracle Virtual Manage Web Interface to either reboot or shutdown the server after your upgrade to 3.2.4? FYI I do not have support. This is my sandbox.

Are you saying that even paying for Oracle Support, they did not resolve this issue? -
Mavericks (OS 10.9) is buggy. When I open Calendar, I get a message "Moving calendars to server account." Calendar freezes and this message goes on interminably. The only way to stop it is to restart the system. How do I fix that?
Hi
- I had the same problem and I suddently found out:
Close (quit) calendar
Under System-Icloud : log out
Open calendar. Under preferences, Account, Icloud: log in !!
And it works!!
now the stupid ""Moving calendars to server account" is gone! -
I can record voice memos fine using the built-in iPhone 4 mic. And my Bluetooth headset (Jawbone Era) works fine when I leave messages on voice mail systems etc. when calling on the iPhone 4, so it appears my headset mic is fine. I can also use voice activated dialing, although it fails miserably interpreting numbers. However, I cannot record voice memos with my Bluetooth mic. I just get barely audible static. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Hello, did you ever get an answer to your question? I just picked up a Jawbone Era and using on an iPhone 4s running 5.0.1. Seems to work fine on regular calls, but not on the built in Voice memos application. It worked fine on my older Jawbone Icon, but haven't tested on the 4s or iOS 5.
Thanks! -
Droid Bionic text messages going to wrong people
I have had my Droid Bionic for several months now. It is not rooted and I don't download tons of apps on my phone. I don't use netflix to watch movies or download music. The apps I have are mainly to help me with work. So I'm not app happy just downloading things non stop. This is why I'm confused and irritated. My Bionic has started sending text messages to the wrong people! I had this issue with my Droid X which is why I switched to the Bionic, hoping that after all these years of making smart phones motorola, google and verizon would put a phone out there that actually works like it's supposed to. How much practice do these phone companies need to get their OS right? I don't mind paying a lot of money for something that will make my life a little easier but I get very irritated paying a lot of money for something that doesn't work the way it's supposed to...and at the most inappropriate times. The Bionic has gone from helping to adding to my daily hassles. Is anyone else having issues with text messages going to the wrong people on their Bionics? Have you found a way to fix it? I'm also getting error messages that just started about a week ago...com.motorola.main.service has stopped and then a option to forceclose. The tech support person at Verizon sounded like he had never seen a smart phone before and gave me the Verizon standard technical reply..."do a factory reset". I should not have to reset anything on a NEW Phone! Why don't you fix these problems Google, Motorola and Verizon and in a timely manner?! I know for a fact if I didn't pay for my phone as promised or pay my bill as promised I would suffer the consequences immediately! You cell phone companies are all about getting your money and leaving us customers out here hanging and irritated. If you think my feelings are misguided then feel free to prove me wrong. FIX THESE ISSUES AND FIX THEM IN A TIMELY MANNER! BETTER YET, PUT OUT A PRODUCT THAT WORKS AS PROMISED IN YOUR ADS! TRAIN YOUR TECHS TO ACTUALLY RESOLVE ISSUES INSTEAD OF RECITING THEIR FAVORITE MOTO "Do a factory reset"! When you do these 3 things I will not feel like someone who has been lied to, robbed, and irritated! I am usually a very positive person but after dealing with issues with 2 expensive phones I'm a little upset. Can anyone help me fix my phone?
Go into your settings, Messages and turn on iMessage. It will then send messages that are iMessages to both your iPad and iPhone. You can also turn off this feature on the iPad if you do not want to receive messages on the iPad.

Text messages going to wrong people
I am new to this forum and I think I posted under the wrong forum for my problem. Please follow the link to my post. I really would appreciate some help.
http://community.vzw.com/t5/DROID-DROID-2-by-Motorola/Droid-Bionic-text-messages-going-to-wrong-people/td-p/733318I have been experiencing this issue for the last few weeks and it is extremely annoying. I've called Verizon 7 times and have gotten nothing but the run around. What's even more annoying is hearing them say there will be a software coming out to correct the problem but they don't know when. I'm very disappointed in Verizon. I've been with them for many years. They were my first and only carrier. I will definitely not be taking this lying down. I'm going to get a resolution, and if that means leaving Verizon, then so be it. And if anyone from Verizon is reading this, PLEASE DO NOT offer up another apology. I don't want another apology, I want this issue to be corrected, NOW!!

I have a problem with my iCal, when I use my caldav account, I can only see my own calendar on my MBA, on my co-workers MBP it works fine with both my account and his. My co-worker can't see other calendars than his own when he uses iCal on my laptop.
We can reproduce this problem on his computer by setting Location to Automatic rather than Amsterdam, then after deleting iCal's cache files, the caldav account and setting the Location back to Amsterdam solves the problem for him.
It does not solve the problem for me (or several other co-workers). We've been looking at this for a few weeks, and we can not find any clear pattern why certain machines have this problem and others don't.
All machines (both affected and unaffected) are running Mac OS 10.7.2 with iCal 5.0.1
I've spoken to Apple support over the phone (in the Netherlands), unfortunately, they couldn't help with this.
So far we've tried numerous location and language settings, but on affected machines nothing appears to solve the delegation problem (which we assume to be connected to the error messages iCal generates)
Starting iCal yeilds the following error messages in /var/log/system.log:

How user trace the message created in Satellite System
HI All,
I'm using Servide Desk in my company. Just wondering how user can trace the progress of the message created where email notification is not configured.
Remember when user send/save the message, there's a message number created. Just wonder any center/ transaction code user can trace the progress and have a visible view on the message ON THE SATELLITE System, not in SOLMAN.
Thanks,

According to the SOLMAN Security Guide, it mention user with role SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE are able to create message but i've and created and tested with a restricted profile user without SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE role, and it still manage to create message.

Hi Nicholas
If you are using a "Named" user instead of the Trusted Relationship in the RFC maintained in BCOS_CUST for entry OSS_MSG then this is quite possible. In this case the "Named" user will be used to call the interface to create message and the calling user ie the end user creating the ticket will only be used as "Reporter" of the message.

I cannot open my itunes, I keep getting message, saying Itunes exe-system error. The progam can't start because SVCR80.dll is missing from your computer.?
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Handling Rowset based message in third party systems
Dear All,
Could you please help me to understand, how can we handle a row set based message at third party system?
PeopleSoft will be sending a row set based messages to third party system and in turn it will be expecting a row set based message as a response. How do we need to handle this?
Thanks,
Hari.ASo you are creating an inbound sync service operation routing.
This can be very well a rowset based message for the request as the response, since every message is an XML.
3e party system will be sending an XML which in the rowset format (which is still XML).
You can just take the message and read it in a rowset, process it and create a response message based on a rowset.
3e party system will be receiving an XML which in the rowset format (which is still XML).
The reason wy I mention XSLT is that the rowset based message has a lot of overhead noded which is not relevent for 3e party systems, but needed for PeopleSoft.
See example:
method OnRequest
/+ &MSG as Message +/
/+ Returns Message +/
Local Message &response;
&response = CreateMessage(Operation.SYNC_REMOTE,
%IntBroker_Response);
&response.GetRowset().GetRow(1).GetRecord(Record.QE_FLIGHTDATA).
GetField (Field.DESCRLONG).Value = &MSG.GenXMLString();
Return &response;
end-method; -
Why do I get the message that my operating system is not supported?
My computer is running Windows 7 - 64-bit. I have the latest softwear on both my iPhone and my iPad. I have installed Edge Inspect on these devices and have the Google Chrome edge inspect extension installed. I have been able to enter my passcodes for both devices in the Chrome extension. Why do I get the message that my operating system is not supported just yet?
This is VERY interesting ... even though I got that strange message, once I linked my iPhone and my iPad to the Google extension, it worked! Whatever I display in Google Chrome automatically displays in the Edge Inspect app on the small devices. This is neat! The only problem that I can see is that Adobe needs to replace the error message with information about how to use the application.
