Message has replaced my iChat after downloading an application for Message.
I was trying to hook my iMessage up to my computer and was told all i needed was a program called Message which should have already been on my computer but wasn't.
I downloaded the application and installed it and now its replaced my iChat and I can't get iChat back.
I've tried going through software updates to try to aleviate but my computer keeps saying 'none of the selected updates could be installed' after taking 15 minutes to download and install.
Please help.
iChat has now been replaced by Messages. Messages automatically replaces iChat whenever you upgrade from Lion to Mountain Lion, or from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion, or when upgrading to Mavericks. iChat's features are found in Messages. There is no way to get iChat back.

I just downloaded the newest update for mountain lion. After downloading any restarting for installation, I got a message stating that the update cannot be installed due to an error. Yet when I check I have version 10..8.3 and safari version 6.0.3, which the update was for. Does this mean that the update is iinstalled and the message was incorrect?

Good timing! Oh well, at least you shouldn't have to update again for a while. It will be nice kickstarting your Mac with the very latest System Update knowing any hiccups from 10.8.2 would have been ironed out if they were going to affect your workflow at all.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? I suspect Mac because of the name your error.

After downloading viber application , I was asked to enter my phone number without the country code, when I enter my phone number and pressed continue, I get this error "viber can't access push notifications. I downloaded FireFox 4 today, and as soon as the download was finished, I launched the browser. As soon as I did, I got a message box that has "[JavaScript Application]" at the top and "uninstal set" as the message. This is the exact wording in the box, including the misspelling. I thought this might be an indication that my version of JavaScript was out of date, so I went to Java's website to update it. However, after downloading the latest version, the message box continued to appear. Has anyone else had this problem, and, if so, is there a way to fix it?
Other users have reported that this is caused by one of their add-ons. I suggest going to the Add-ons page and disabling everything that is not essential, and then restarting Firefox. Hopefully it's not caused by something you really rely on.

Can anybody advise me? I have bought the game "Dress Up Rush HD" and after downloading the game and ready to play, it just hung there.My music can be played in my iMac and iPad itunes, but not my iPhone4.
i did what you have suggested to unsync the music and then re-sync again. should i try to cancel all the music in the library and then restore them again. can it work? i dont want to bet coz reloading so much music is very trouble. -

I have downloaded & installed adobe creative suit cs2 version 6 but when I click the icon of adobe photoshop in desktop it is not opened & giving message " this application has failed to start because " ausba4.dll " was not found. reinstalling of the application may fix the problem " I have reinstall & opened many times but even then it is not opened. Please guide me accordingly.
I'd try disabling the Twain_32.8BA plugin in
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Plug-Ins\Import-Export
You can disable the plugin by putting an ~ (tilde) in front of the name or moving the plugin to your desktop.
Then try photoshop cs2 and see if you still get the error message.
I suspect the error has to do with your scanner driver, since photoshop cs2 does not have an ausba4.dll -
I downloaded an app that cost $7.99 and immediately realized that it was not functional the way I understood it to be. I deleted the app and now I wqould like to be reimbursed.

Apple did not do anything to solve this problem, they said I shoud apply to ITunes which I did. However, ITunes in Belgium does not even have a customer friendly call center, and they reply with standard info if you apply by e-mail which have no relevance to my problem. As I do not have hours to spend on the phone, I tasked my secretary to call Itunes many times. In the end, she found someone to look into the matter which took months.
Simultaneously, I applied to VISA through my bank for fraud investigation. I had to cancel my credit card. In the end, VISA paid my money back and they said they will deal with ITunes. I received a new credit crad from VISA with a new number. I tried to use this new card in the ITunes but ITunes did not accept my card because in their system my name has been registered as if I have commited the fraud! This was again outrageus! I have complained about this to both Belgium and the USA Apple/ITunes, but no satisfactory answer was given. I am now using my wife's credit card to buy smth I want in ITunes. But because of my very unpleasant experience I am not buying much on ITunes store. I am also considering to quit Apple all together. This is unfortunate because I have been an apple fan until I had this experience.

Hello, I have just opened iTunes after recently downloading the latest update and i have just backed up my iPad to find all my music, apps, films etc have disappeared from my iTunes library. The only thing that is on there is my daughters One Direction albums! Any ideas? Was working fine before the update

I have firefox on my work and home computers - at the work on, I have a list of documents listed in my downloads box which I can access directly - great - on my home computer it shows while downloading, however as soon as it has finished downloading the box goes empty, I then have to minimise everything and find the downloaded item.

Yesterday I downloaded a 'firefox optimized for yahoo' app. Then last night my yahoo email was hacked and all emails and contacts deleted. I believe the app I downloaded may have been false? or your yahoo optimization was hacked.
Where did you get that "app" from?
Or did you purposely install the Yahoo optimized version of Firefox '''5.0''', which is almost 2 years old? And '''not''' made by Mozilla!
The best place to get Firefox is from Mozilla directly, not from a 3rd party website which may have done "who knows what" as far as "tweaks".
