Message Hub Missing/Black

My message Hub has disappeared!
When I swipe right to get my message Hub it is a black screen.
I have tried clicking on the Text Messages Icon in the main access list and it does open my messages. It does anything.
Anyone else experience this?
Very worrying as I cannot access any of my messages at all.

You can try to reload the hub or pull battery and wait 2 minutes and pop it back in. After reboot, give it a minute or two to build the hub.. To reload the hub, move your finger on the top right hand corner of the screen swipe diagonally 5 times and it restarts the hub(tricky at first but easy after you master it).

First, have him go to Mail>Preferences>Accounts
Then have him locate his account and your account on the left.
Have him click and drag the .mac account below his account in the list.
This will solve the default setting of mail going out from your account when he clicks on the Inbox.
Removing the smtp server for .mac may not even work for him, especially if the account is active.
Instead click on "advanced" and there should be a check box for "enable this account", deselect the box. This disables the account without deleting any mail.

Message Monitor Missing Messages in Adapter Engine

All,
I had over 200 messages in my adapter engine but recently I only see 115 for the same period.
Additionally, all of the 850 (PO) inbound messages are gone.   I see them in the Integration Engine but not in the Adapter Engine anymore.
I need to repeat processing for a particular 850 message and so I am wondering:
(1)   Any suggestions on why these messages are missing ?
(2)   Is this a retention period issue ? If so, how do I control the period ?
(3)   How can I retrieve these messages ?
(4)   Is there another place where I can re-process the 850 messages I need.   Where and how ?

It may be caused coz of some adapter failure which you are using for that particular scenario. Also for rention period you can check it in the particular communication channel, but i don't think it will be the issue. try finding it in moni, if it is not there go to RWB and then find it for you particular interface. If it is not there try to find the status.

In RWB -> message monitoring you will find all the message, Try searching it for your interface and the you can select all messages and you can reprocess it.
For error message , in RWB go to particular adapter, and check if it is running or not. It must be in running status. so check and let us know about it.

Messaging Hub not showing online friends...

I got and update for my Nokia 920 last Friday [April 26, 2013] and I updated it. After updating [1232.5957.1308.0002] I notice that my Messaging Hub always telling me that "No one is online" even my friends are online. Any one encountered this problem? TIA

Messages are missing

My message is missing after a small hang when I use group SMS app. After this incident I didt sync with itune..... So what I want to do to restore the message. More than 600 messages I had .... Now it's fully empty

Did you upgrade to Tiger from Jaguar or Panther?
If so, quit Mail first and using the Finder, go to Home > Library > Mail > this account named folder (named by the user name and incoming mail server for the account) > INBOX.mbox.
List the contents here - file and folder names available within the INBOX.mbox folder.

Failed download error message and missing patch message, why?

For the last couple of days I've been trying to download premiere pro cc and the first time I got a message saying 'missing patch' and I needed to update. I clicked on the update but it kept failing. SO, I uninstalled premiere and adobe cloud and tried to reinstall them. Everything was fine for the cloud installer but now, I keep getting 'Dowload error' message for premiere pro.
What is wrong?
I'm using the latest macbook pro 15" retina display.

You might be viewing the PDFs in your browser only where Adobe Reader plug-in is disabled.
Please try opening the PDF file using Adobe Reader and then check.
Let me know in which browser are you trying to view the PDFs so that I can help you out enabling the required plug-ins.

The message may be refering to Adobe plug-ins. To use Apple Preview to view PDF, right click on any PDF you have/Get Info. In the Info Window/Open with: Select Preview > Select Change All

I am using oracle thin driver (oracle 816 drivers) to connect my serlvet to the database. The current environment I am using is JDK/JRE 1.1.7B and the database is Oracle 7.3. (according to the FAQ section, this is allowed. 816 drivers are compatible).
However, when I run my Servlet in the servlet container, I get the following:
java.sql.SQLException: Message file "oracle.jdbc.dbaccess.Messages" is missing.
I have the oracle jar file in the right location and is referenced in my classpath. I looked into the jar file and there is:
oracle/jdbc/dbaccess/Message.class
oracle/jdbc/dbaccess/Messages.properties
but no:
oracle/jdbc/dbaccess/Messages.class
which the exception message leads me to think is missing. What file is actually missing? and how can I fix or work around this problem?

I too used to get this error when the classes111.zip was unzipped, but this should not cause any problem if classess111.zip is used in the classpath.
It is trying to load the messages.properties
as a resource.
Do not use a deployment tool to pull all the required classes, they miss these kinda properties file and you end up in trouble.
Check your IDE if any which may do this in the background.

When I go to Time Machine to restore, only today's Sent Mailbox is available. Time Machine has been backing up seamlessly for months, so there should not be a problem finding a backup. What's going on and how do I restore the Sent Mailbox?

Unless your TM drive is messed up, the backups should be there. So relax a bit.
The mail is stored in your Home Library folder, not the hard drive Library folder. The Home Library folder is hidden in Lion. To get to it, select Go in the Finder and hold the option key down. Select Library in the submenu. A Finder window will open up in your Home Library.
From there, you will navigate to the Mail folder, then V2 folder. All main mailboxes for each account will be in their account folder. There is another folder called Mailboxes which will store all local folders.
If you select the V2 folder in the Finder window, then enter TM, you should be able to go back into time.
Before doing anything else, first open Disk Utility and verify that your hard drive is OK.
If it is, go into the hard drive and navigate to the Home Library/Mail/V2 folder. Open each mail account and click on the mailbox your messages were in, like the inbox. See if the messages folder contains messages.
I just want you to see if the mailboxes are in the account folders and that they contain data. If so, we will continue from there. There's no use in trying to restore if there are problems just yet. Let's verify this first, then we will proceed.

Please merge Windows Phone's Messaging Hub with Skype and allow us to reply to Windows Phone SMS'es and/or MMS'es from Skype on the desktop (kind of like Apple's continuity features). I can't speak for Skype but if you want, we can add the lang file to our repository of "unofficial" Skype languages (https://sourceforge.net/projects/skypeinyourlang/?source=navbar), and if you want to, we can add it on Transifex to so you can maintain it more easily. Just a thought.

Email messages are missing with Maverick

Since I upgraded to Maverick, old email mesages that I was saving in my inbox are missing. The headers are all there... it looks like the message should be there but when you click on the email, the message is missing. Help!

I had the same issue. I sent myself an email from my iPhone. Then went into my sent folder and that seemed to fix the issue.

Nokia E7 not notiffying received messages or misse...

My ynokia E7 no longer notifies me with the '1 message received' or '1 missed call' message whenever i receive a message or miss a call. the only way i know is the blinking notification light. for messages received, the message alert tone does not ring.

My E7-00 had the same problem: No alert tone for incoming messages.
The first time happened a few months ago. After a soft reset thethe alert tone worked again.
The next time happened two weeks ago. I did not want to do a soft reset again and looked for other solutions without luck.
A few days later I switched off the phone for the night (usually it is just set to silent mode). After starting the phone again I was greeted with an alert tone for missed messages! Wonderful! Unfortunately now the calender did not work anymore. A "power reset" (?) --> 10 seconds pressing the off button fixed that.The key seemed to switch it of for **several** hours.
Whatever the problem is, it seems not to be caused by having too many messages on the phone. Right now there are 943 received messages and 721 sent messages on my phone. Message alert still works.
If this works for you as well please let me know :-)
