Message: illegal cluster id while deleting WF steps

Hi all,
While deleting steps in workflow template, sometimes I get this error message
illegal cluster id #### (some number)
It doesn't stop me from deleting or creating new steps, but I was just curious why we get this message and how could it be avoided.

Kiran,
We had this problem intermittently in the initial days of our upgrade from 4.6C to 6.20. Since it did not cause any harm and we were under tight time constraints, did not really pursue it. It eventually stopped. I would think it was fixed by a support pack or a GUI patch. you may be able to find something in OSS.

This is a PO item without material master and account assigned to cost center.GR (101) was done and the GR is cancelled(102)for the total quantity.
While deleting the PO line item, i am getting error message with out any description.When i check the details of the error it is showing as 'Message ME867'. Since this error is not showing any error description, i am unable to know the cause of the error.

Hi,
This means ERS is active in your system.
What this means is that when you do a GRN, an ERS flag is activated in the PO header. The ERS is then settled using the PO data in SRM.
If you have not settled this (at least this is what is indicated from the message), then uncheck this flag in the PO header and then try and archive.

TestStand Error -17300 while deleting a step

Hi All,
I have created a custom step which gives a LabVIEW pop up on dropping it in the sequence editor. The pop up has an OK and Cancel button. If I hit OK, the step is placed in the sequence and if I hit Cancel, the step is deleted from the sequence. I am doing this by passing the sequence context into the popup vi and then using the sequence method Delete Step.
Now when i do this practically, the step is getting deleted but after that I'm getting an error from TestStand with Error code -17300. Source: 'TSAPI' "Value invalid or out of range".
Can anyone tell me how to resolve this error. I am using TestStand 2010 and LabVIEW 2010

This is likely not an anticipated or supported use case. What is likely happening is that TestStand is trying to select the newly inserted step after your substep is done running, but since you deleted it, it does not exist so it gets an "out of range index" error.
I can't think of a good way to fix this short of writing your own code to do the step insertion. The easiest solution probably is to not do the delete when cancel is pressed, but instead to put the step in a state such that it will always generate a runtime error if used without being specified appropriately.
I have recorded this issue as a change request in our tracking database.

Error while deleting master data (Message no. RSDMD118)

Dear all,
I am performing a test to create and delete new Company Codes in Consolidation Workbench.
Creation of new Company Codes went on successfully but deleting them give me the following error message upon saving:
Error while deleting master data
Message no. RSDMD118
Since they are new Company Codes, they have not been used and stored in any BW cubes. Any idea on why BCS prevents me from deleting them?
Appreciate assistance to troubleshoot and resolve this error.

I am sure those are not the case here as I deleted the Company immediately after creating it.
Just to make sure, I performed "Where-Used List" again and BCS confirmed that it is not being used anywhere:
Use of: Company UAT1 UAT Company 1
Number of Uses Found: 0
However, the same error message was displayed again after I tried to delete the Company and save the configuration. Still can't find any solid reason behind this.

Hi Srinu,
it looks like you got the error message Schedule line &1 &2 is missing in table YVBEP while deleting the sales order.
It seems, that there are no SAP notes regarding this issue. Do you have this issue with all orders or with a single order?
If only a single order causes this issue, maybe something was wrong during an update.
If you get this error for many orders, then custom code (modification, enhancement, user exit in MV45AFZZ, ...) may be the reason for it.
If you have no custom code in module pool SAPMV45A, then contact SAP for this issue.

Recently, our company consolidated the SAP platforms for two regions and it is single instance now. The data is migrated to the new system by SLO. After this we are facing an issue while deleting the contact person in customer master. When we select the contact person and delete, we get a message saying "Specify a valid person use (PERSON_REFERENCE)". When we press enter, another entry (above the intended entry) gets deleted.
The performance assistant shows nothing but message no. AM057.
Based on the couple of OSS notes I have searched, I checked the table ADRVP entries and found two entries for that contact person. Both entries have the client number appearing in the field APPL_KEY.
The first record is having old client number and the second record is having the new client number. I presume, we are seeing two records because the data was migrated by SLO. But what is confusing is, both are having same addr.no. and marked as X for Owner (Flag: Adress owner object reference).
Data in table ADRVP looks as under.

I had the same problem, and it was solved by going to the Mailbox menu and selecting "rebuild."

Based on the message you have, you have shipment cost documents activated. As a result of that, in order ot back things out you need to follow the process through and reverse the shipment cost document if you have one associated to this delivery / shipment process. Look in your doc flow and see if you have have a shipment cost doc associated to the shipment, if you do, back it out. As mentioned earlier, without the exact message and the process flow (docs), it is hard to understand specifically what you are looking for. Please provide more detail if you want assitance.

OB08- Error while deleting entries.

Hi All,
I am getting an error while deleting some entires in OB08.
ERROR MESSAGE: Entry CAD/EUR (28.08.09), exchange rate type EURX cannot be deleted.
Steps i followed to delete the entires are
selected some 30 entries and clicked the edit tab and delete function.
system has given a message box with number of deleted entries 30 after that i clicked SAVE button. Once i clicked the save button i got the above error message.
Please advice what is error about and how to get rid of this error. Why the error message coming only for this currency combination.

Problems while Call PopUp step with msgbox.dll (TimerMsgImgPopUp)

Hello,
I have the following problem. In my teststand sequence there are several standard Message PopUp steps of teststand. While executing the sequence each time when it reaches one of this step the attached error message occures.
When I then look into the msgbox.dll for the function TimerMsgImgPopUp this function is not available there.
Why is teststand searching this function in this file? because it is only a standard teststand message PopUp.
can anybody help me?

Did you every have TestStand 2.0.x installed before?
Or have you used examples derived from TestStand 2.0.x
Can you closed down your TestStand, then re-open and created a Sequence File with just the MessagePopup Step. Set the Timeout on the active control. Then run the Sequence. Do you get the DLL problem. If you do then your TestStand installation has got contamined. So Un-install, delete the TestStand folder, then re-install. Try example again.
If the example does work correctly, then its your SequenceFile thats at fault. In which you will have to delete all the MessagePopUp steps then delete the Step Type thats defined in the Sequence File.

These type of Internal Errors are all too common in OWB and it's difficult to diagnose the exact problem.
I'd suggest closing the Design Centre, going back in and trying to delete it again, this will often resolve Internal errors.
There's also an article on Metalink Doc ID: 460411.1 about errors when deleting mappings but it's specific to an ACLContainer error, so may or may not be of use.
One of the suggestions is to connect as the Repository Owner rather than a User and try to delete the mapping.

Error While Deleting cube Contents in Process Chain

   I am getting a error when i am trying to delete the contents of two cubes in a Process Chain . The data of one cube is getting successfully deleted but while deleting the second one it results in a error.
Following are the messages :

I am trying to synchronize Company master data between local BCS system and SAP BW with UGMD_BATCH_SYNC program. In the synchronization mode, Full Synschronization (Write and Delete) was selected.
However, I receive the following error message when executing the program:
Error while deleting values of characteristic /1FB/COMPANY/Company (RFC destination )
Message no. UGMD077
Diagnosis
When writing or deleting values of characteristic /1FB/COMPANY/Company errors occurred in the system with RFC destination . As the changes have already been defined in the local storage location this results in the master data being asynchronous between the local and remote storage location.
System Response
Processing is continued.
Procedure
Carry out a manual synchronization of the master data later using report UGMD_BATCH_SYNC. You can find additional information there under Application Help.
FYI, RFC Destination for my data basis is left blank.
What may causes this error and how to resolve it?

May I know what settings that I need to check in UGMDSYNC program? As far as I can tell, there is only one parameter that we need to specify in the program i.e. Field Name. As I am trying to synchronize from BCS to BW, I have chosen the followings settings:

Interesting thing that I notice after executing the UGMDSYNC program is the following message:
Synchronize/Display Variances Between Systems
     The compound dependencies for the attributes or texts are not defined
     uniformly in the systems investigated.
     Example:
     Texts are defined as language-specific in the local systems and as
     language-independent in remote systems (for example BW systems). The
     same can apply for other compounds such as version or time dependencies.
System Response
     The display of differences between the systems will be affected. A
     manual synchronization will not be completely successful.
Procedure
     1. Ensure that the dependencies for the attributes and texts are the
         same in all systems.
     2. Start the synchronization process again.
Procedure for System Administration
I can check the attributes and texts in BW via RSD1 by specifying InfoObject = 0COMPANY and checking the Master data/texts and Attribute tabs. But how do I check similar settings in BCS Workbench? I can't determine whether the Company text is language-dependent or not simply by displaying specific Company from Process View > Master Data > Consolidation Units > Company.
