Message in another language in SBWP

Dear experts,
In one of our workflows, when it is triggered, it sends two messages to the inbox (SBWP) of the approver. One of them is a message of decision to approve or reject the workflow. The 2nd message is informative, just saying that a task with an ID number (number of the workflow) has started. Curiously, this message is in croatian, but I´m logged in in Spanish (ES).
I wonder how can I erase this message, or translate it to Spanish, because the programs in SBWP are all standard SAP, no Z programs exist, so in theory everything should be in the log in language. So does anyone know what might be the cause of the problem?
Thanks.

Hi,
You need to maintain the language translation while developing the workflow.
For this purpose..
Run Tcode SWDD...
Enter your workflow template number.
Now select Extras form menu bar.
Here you can find the option 'Translation' ,
Now select Translation >>> Translation
You will get an popup "Source language " to "Target language"
now maintain translated sentences'.
Save and activate.
For example if you logon in Spanish Language ( if maintained ) and check the workflow definition. You can observe that for the two step types, the text is available in German.
Thanks and regards,
SNJY

  • Getting parsing exception messages in another language

    I am using the Oracle XML SAXParser for Java to validate an XML document against a DTD, and I want to display the result to the user. Is there a way to get the parsing errors/warnings in a language other than English? What languages are supported? Thanks.

    You can get localized messages using the setLocale method. The listing of countries and languages is in the README.HTML.

  • Overrid JBO messages in multiple languages

    Hello,
    platform : JDev 10.1.2 with UIX
    We need to have custom error messages for my application.
    In Jdeveloper help in section 'Customizing Error Messages ' the mechanism to override existing JBO messages in well documented.
    BUT. How to translate these messages to another language, French in my case?
    because I get the default JBO French message.
    Any pointers and sample code will also be helpful.

    For displaying message, it better to use message class instead of using otr.
    Using transcation se91 create a message class and messages, this can be called in WDA
      get message manager
      DATA lo_api_controller     TYPE REF TO if_wd_controller.
      DATA lo_message_manager    TYPE REF TO if_wd_message_manager.
      lo_api_controller ?= wd_this->wd_get_api( ).
      CALL METHOD lo_api_controller->get_message_manager
        RECEIVING
          message_manager = lo_message_manager
      report message
      CALL METHOD lo_message_manager->report_t100_message
        EXPORTING
          msgid                    = (Name of the Message Class)
          msgno                    = (Message Number)
          msgty                    = (E - Error, W - Warning...)
         p1                       =
         p2                       =
         p3                       =
         p4                       =
         msg_user_data            =
         is_permanent             = ABAP_FALSE
         scope_permanent_msg      = CO_MSG_SCOPE_CONTROLLER
         view                     =
         show_as_popup            =
         controller_permanent_msg =
         msg_index                =
         cancel_navigation        =
    This will display the message in logon language.

  • I tried to update iTunes yesterday.  The update failed.  Now when I try to open iTunes it says that the version isn't localized and needs to be run in English.  It has never been in another language.

    I attempted to update iTunes yesterday.  The update failed.  iTunes now won't open and displays an error message that the program isn't localized and needs to be run in the English version.  I'm in the US and the computer and program has never been used in another language.  I tried reinstalling the full download for the new version and that failed as well.  I logged out; shut down; restarted; retried the update; etc.  Still no luck and the same message.  Thoughts?

    If the above doesn’t do the trick entirely, then use the instructions in the following as it applies to the version of Windows you are using:
    HT1925: Removing and Reinstalling iTunes for Windows XP
    HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

  • Adding another language ZF (traditional chinese)

    Dear all,
    Our sap rel is 4.7 using oracle 9.2 running on win2k platform.
    It is a non unicode system, using mdmp.
    The system was installed with EN/DE and addon with ZH (chinese simplified) language by the consultant.
    Now the users require  additional language (ZF) traditional
    chinese, which under the same client.
    I guess that we need to use transaction smlt, follow by se38, rscpinst, but I am very confuse.
    Do we execute transaction smlt under client 000. I saw that there is a statement stating that after language import, we still need to use smlt to choose language > special actions > import support packages? Is this refering the /usr/sap/trans/eps/in ?
    For the command se38,rscpinst, do we execute this command on the require client ?
    Another question is that under one specific client can we have two types of languages, that is ZF and ZH concurrently ?
    Could someone please advise how should I go about to do it ?
    If someone could tell the procedure step by steps to add on another language, I would be very very much appreciate.
    Thank you so much.

    Hi Madhu,
    language import in NW 7.0 systems (including post processing) is described here:
    https://service.sap.com/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000659947&_OBJECT=011000358700001183852006E
    However I doubt that your problem is caused by missing language import tasks.
    Are you using the latest SAPGUI patch ?
    Can you please check SAP note 508854 (I assume you have a Unicode system ...) ?
    Also a more detailed description according to SAP note 764480 could help to identify the issue (also in case you want to open a customer message).

  • Can not change from French Keyboard settings to another language

    Just installed a user account (french) and for some odd reason every time i change the keyboard input to another language it still switches back or simply keeps on using the french input, even if i totally de-select it from the input list and leave only the language i want to use.
    i ran disk utilities to fix permissions, also fixed keychain permissions as well; still the same.
    can anyone please advise on what i should do about this to get it working right?

    ok i finally got rid of france and the french curse here
    Your right to remove the prefs folder,
    1-i moved it to the desktop, and noticed when i re-logged in what was in the pref folder,
    2-then narrowed it down to the files that where again created automatically in the prefs folder for the keyboard input after i selected another country flag .
    3- i then drag and dropped all the files from the previous prefs folder that had the com.apple etc, and i chose to replace what i refered, like for example my DOC prefs, and the rest i did not replace.
    everything is now back, this user had so many prefs since OS9 !, wierdo.

  • Why do I get a popup message in multiple languages requiring a shutdown and restart

    Why do I keep getting a popup message in multiple languages requiring a shutdown and restart?  Has been going on for a few months.  Because of the shutdown reports have been sent to Apple upon restart.

    After it restarted, did you see a dialog box resembling this one:
    If so, next time it occurs click Report...
    Before you send it to Apple, copy the text of the report. Paste it in a reply. Remove or obscure any personal information, should it appear.
    If problems continues to occur please determine if they also occur in "Safe Mode":
    Safe Mode or "Safe Boot" is a troubleshooting mode that bypasses all third party system extensions and loads only required system components. Read about it: Starting up in Safe Mode
    Starting your Mac in Safe Mode will take longer than usual, graphics will not render smoothly, audio is disabled on some Macs, and some programs (iTunes for example) may not work at all.
    To end Safe Mode restart your Mac normally. Shutdown will take longer as well.

  • If you want to access the PowerShell 3.0 Help in another language please vote for my Connect suggestion!

    All my Windows operating Systems are set to use the UI Culture: German
    With Update-Help or Save-Help you can download PowerShell help in different (any) language by use of the –UICulture parameter.
    Update-Help –UICulture en-US
    Because my Windows OS is set to use the German UI Culture and the Cmdlet Get-Help depends on it, I cannot access PowerShell help in a different Language (English) with Get-Help.
    There is still no translated German PowerShell help and even if I have installed the en-US verbose Help files I cannot use it (easily)!
    I made a suggestion on Microsoft Connect to add the –UICulture Parameter to the Get-Help Cmdlet, to make it possible to call Help in a different language then the Windows Ui Culture.
    As a workaround until then you can use the  .NET Class [System.Threading.Thread]::CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture to set the UI Culture and get Help in a different language.
    Function Get-HelpUICulture {
    param (
    [String]$HelpSearchString,
    [String]$UICulture
    # remember the UICulture
    $OldCulture = [System.Threading.Thread]::CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture
    trap
    [System.Threading.Thread]::CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture = $OldCulture
    # set thread to given UICulture
    [System.Threading.Thread]::CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture = $UICulture
    # call powershell help in given language
    Get-Help $HelpSearchString -Full
    # reset UICulture
    [System.Threading.Thread]::CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture = $OldCulture
    # Example: call PowerShell en-US help in verbose English:
    Get-HelpUICulture -HelpSearchString Get-Command -UICulture ‘en-US’

  • Converting seconds to a date in another language

    Hello all,
    I am currently working on an application that uses web services to populate a web-based UI.  One of the outputs is a measurement time that is generated using the LabVIEW method 'Get Date/Time in Seconds'.  To make since of this, I convert the value to a double precision float and transmit it to the host (on request).  On the host side, I am using Javascript to populate a text box with the current measurement date and time.  To do this, I use the followign code
    var dateobj = new Date(1904,1,1);
    /* The variable 'time' should be the seconds since
    * midnight 1 Jan 1904 of the current measurement.
    var measTime = dateobj.setSeconds(time);
     When I do this, what I find is that the time is actually one month off.  I can correct this by changing the date in the creation of my 'dateobj' to 1 Dec 1903.  Has anyone seen this before, possibly in another language?  It is not beyond the realm of reason that I am doing something incorrectly, but I can't seem to get at what right now.
    Thanks, Matt

    Hmmmm...that's intriguing....  I need to do some more thorough experimenting to see if I can reproduce this behavior and if there is some point at which it all flips and problem goes away.  I am pretty sure that like Teststand, time is referenced to 1970 rather than 1904.  I will look into this and try to provide some more details.  I was hoping that someone would pop up and say that they had done this before and had no problems; but, I may be a bit optimistic...
    Epoch for LabVIEW IS the non-existant second before midnight on Jan 1 1904,  Leap secods are un-accounted for to the best of my knowlegde. and since 1904 WAS a leap year the Lotus" phantom 1900 Feb 29 does not pertain at all.
    The "one month off issue" bares investigation.  I Know Altenbach reported that happened with NI Error Reporting Service logs but, my Google skills fail me and I never did read a "First cause" analisys of the resolution. I just got my new iphone 5s. Well I have been sending text message to another iphone user and my text are going in as a text message instead of an imessage. The never happened with my iphone 4s.  Also I do not recieve some of my text message till almost an hour later.  This has nothing to do with where I am because I can be down the road from someone and I did not get their message until I got closer to her.  Me and my husband just got these new iphone 5s and we are both having the same problem.  Can someone help?  I don't want to return the phone but if I continue to have this problem I'll just keep my iphone 4s because I never ran into any problems like this prior.

    Does that happen all the time? I just got the same message when trying to open an email in one of my mail accounts and I don't even have iCloud mail, but I was in the process of setting up a brand new iPad Air 2 and I just assumed that it is a security feature that randomly popped up because it was a new device. I do think that I recall that occurring in the past though, and I assume it's simply a security feature.
