Message LP327 WM Not active for plant

Dear All,
We have just upgraded our SAP system from 4.7 to ECC6.0, While doing a repetitive manufacturing backflush a warning has appeared (LP327 WM Not active for plant), the statement in the warning is correct, the plant is not active for WM, I was wondering if this particular warning could switched off.

Hi Mark,
The message is triggering from std SAP program RLLT0R00 and is defaulted to Error message.We cannot change that to warning message in that program.Pls try to search suitable OSS notes for the  same.It looks like Extent WM is active for your plant so the message is issued.

Extent Warehouse Management
Key that controls the use or the degree of activation of Warehouse Management for a storage location. The key controls whether bin stock is to be managed in the MM-WM component.
The field can have the following settings:
blank = normal management of stock in bins. The full range of functions provided by the MM-WM component is available.
1  = Lean WM for inbound or outbound deliveries. The delivery or pick is executed using transfer orders (from MM-WM). These transfer orders, however, do NOT update bin stock in Warehouse Management.
2  = For this storage location, you can use normal SD picking in combination with doors and staging areas. In this context, no Warehouse Management functions are activated.
3 = Lean WM for outbound deliveries. Picking occurs using transfer orders (from LE-WM). However, these transfer orders do NOT update bin stock in Warehouse Management.
4 = Lean WM for inbound deliveries. Putaway occurs using transfer orders (from LE-WM). These transfer orders do NOT, however, update bin stock in Warehouse Management

    Tht prb might be the material master.
    Goto Material master, select AFS MRP View and activate/ press the AFS MRP status button and save.

    So the ASA NAT;s that server to a specific IP on the inside and also to a public ip address on the outside....
    Now when you connect from outside you get that error message.. Does that happen with all the connection attempts??

    Check the series group which your giving in J1iex.. Has it been assign to to Excise registration of Plant. And you have given us the Message number and application area. If it is a customized message then you need debug with Abaper.

  • Data filtering not activated for ALE processing of Outbound Deliveries

    Dear all,
    we're currently upgrading from 4.6c to ERP 6.0 and are facing a serious problem with our IDoc interfaces:
    In 4.6c, data filtering for Message Type SHP_OBDLV_SAVE_REPLICA was activated and use to extract some segments from the IDoc sent to our logistics provider.
    In ERP 6.0 data filtering is not activated for SHP_OBDLV_SAVE_REPLICA and we do not know how to activate it. For some reason, we can still see the data filtering setting when we switch to "system view" in BD64 but we're not able to change it.
    Checking filter settings in the old system using transactions BD60, ... we do not see any clue how data filtering or filter objects have been defined for SHP_OBDLV_SAVE_REPLICA.or in it's context

    Dear all,
    thank you for your help. I've just realized that the former project team made a modification to object LIKP, method SAVEREPLICA in transaction BDBG and set it to "Data filtering allowed".
    This setting was lost during upgrade.
    Last question: When redoing this modification (I hate to do this but that's the only way to keep the interface running) and save it I get an error/warning message during generation that the definition is inconsistent. I can continue the generation or cancel it. However, the switch is activated and my filter settings suddenly appear again in BD64 (they've been there all the time, but not displayed or active).
    Is there anything I've to keep in mind? Can I generate, should I ignore?

    I have got all my vendors in now and plants, how do i assign the plant to the correct Purchas org?

    In using it, I found out other's have had this issue and it likely means you have a 3G iPad?  If you do, go into settings and turn off cellular data, then try to update again and you should be OK........

    Venkatesh,
    You will need to assign your business place to your plant in config (SPRO->Cross Application components->General Application Functions->Nota Fiscal->CNPJ Business Places->Assign Business Places to Plants).
    The system is trying to derive the business place during PO creation and that is the reason you are getting this error.

  • Budget check not active for commitment & actual budget

    Budget check runs  fine while checking budget limits for Production order and vendor invoices i.e does not allow to further create production order and vendor invoices if budget limits exceeds the released budget.
    But  this budget check does not work on procurement processes ( PR, PO &GR).
    No warning or error message pop out and the system allows to further create PR/PO/GR  beyond  released budget
    What  config changes are required to make budget check active for procurement processes.

    Check the Transcation groups in Budget tolerance limits.
    PScostsbudget---define tolerance limits.
    If you assign ++ All Activity groups it will activate the Budget avaliability control for all Transcation.
    Check the avaliability control in OPS9 whether the activation type is 1 or 2 . If  2 run the avliability control CJBN.

    Greetings to all,
    We ran into a problem, where a person submitted an expense report with project related information. The exp report gets an error in the workflow. When we look at the workflow error message is: This expense report failed payables validation.
    When we look at the notification for error message, shows the expense report and for the line that has a problem, gives the following error message:
    "The expenditure organization is not active."
    We check the org in HRMS, we look up the org and has the following setups:
    HRMS-->work structures--> organization (query the cost center)
    then when looking at the cost center has the following:
    under organization classifications:
    Project Expenditure/Event Organization
    Project Task Owning Organization
    HR Organization
    Then looking at hrms-->organization--->hierarchy
    query for hierarchy-->we get our hierarchy,
    then under organization-->query again for our main org, we see then the subordinates which we see the cost center again.
    Everything looks good our point of view.
    If have researched this issue on ML and have read the following notes: 423267.1, but this does not resolve our issue.
    If someone has encountered this problem, can you share the additional steps to troubleshoot this issue.

    It turns out that the employees were on LOA on the dates that they were charging time. So the message didn't really describe what the actual problem was. What happened is that the employees had gone on LOA and then returned to work, but HR had not yet returned them to active assignment. They entered their timecards as they normally had, but they did not pass validation because they weren't active on the dates they were trying to charge.
    I would have looked at the assignment earlier in the process if the error message had been employee-oriented instead of referring to the org, but at least the problem is solved. Thanks for everybody's input!
