Message mapping hangs when selecting communication channel

Hi Experts,
I have a strange problem. In message mapping, there is an RFC Lookup. For this RFC lookup, there is one parameter of type communication channel. I want to test this message mapping. So, I go to the Test tab and browse for all available communication channels. When I select a channel and click on Select, ESR hangs. I am not getting why this is happening. Please help me get rid of this problem.

May be in the channel monitoring the channel is stopped. If you are sure that the channel is active in ID and in Start mode in communication channel, then it is a cache issue. Then, perform full CPACache refresh.

Message mapping problem when testing

Hi guys,
I'm having a tiny little problem with a message mapping.
When I'm testing a message mapping I'm getting the following error:
12:28:35 Start of test
Cannot produce target element /ns1:MT_Encomenda/Num_doc. Check xml instance is valid for source xsd and target-field mapping fulfills requirements of target xsd
12:28:36 End of test
I'm importing a xml file for testing, but if I fill in the files at hand using the xml instance i get no problems.
Any ideas?

hi,
make sure the target field /ns1:MT_Encomenda/Num_doc is getting populated from the source message.
you would see this error if a required field in the target structure is not populated.

Message ID is disabled in Communication Channel

Hi,
Scenario is JDBC to idoc/file.
In commmunication channel monitoring it says

but i am not able to see any messages in SXMB_MONI and also message ID in communication channel is greyd out.ia m not able to open the payload nor audit log.
and the other thing is everytime its generating the same message ID for every 60 secs of poll interval.
Can someone help me in resolving this issue.

What I understand from the Query is : First it will filter data from tr_log table based on ""date_manage is null"" Check, Now Filtered data of tr_log is compared with data of wh03_h based on """a.seq_id = c.seq_id """ Check ...Which is a inner join
1. So what i would suggest is run your Query in actual Database and check , see if it is fetching any number of rows ...
Might be Inner join is creating problem ... against seq_if of C table might be there is no such seq_id Data in a table...
So check this thing .. is your query fatching data ...
2. Or for testing first use a simple your Query .. Like

and execute it again and again 2-3 times , and check wether data is populated in payload or not...
So by this way you came to know .. Problem is with data or adapter is giving problem ....
3. Check for adapter lock also .. and yes Database table lock also .. If something is updating table and at the sametime you will try to fetch any data from same table .. table will not return anything .. infact it hangs untill update query execute commit ...

Issue in the XI Integration Directory when generating communication channel

In the SAP XI Integration Directory, when I am attempting to create a Business System. I would like to have the communication channels automatically generated. The Business System gets created as intended. However the communication channels are not automatically generated. I get the message captured "<b>Unable to find an associated SLD element (source element: SAP_XIIntegrationDirectory, [CreationClassName, SAP_XIIntegrationDirectory, string, Name, directory.cxg.cpgia64, string], target element type: SAP_XIIntegrationServer)"</b>
All configurations seems to be OK. Have you experienced this problem before, If so how did you remedy to it?

we have this error too. What i can say is, that it have to
do with the inconsistence of the SLD. You have to check if
you don't have some inconsistence in the SLD.
Sometime the connection to SLD is instable. Then just try
again some minutes later. But it the error persist than
something is not correct configured in SLD. We don't know
exactly what we have done so that the error gone after
correcting in SLD.

Outlook 2010 hangs when selecting a meeting invite

Sometimes when the users click on a meeting invite from a user from a different company (Full Trust between domains)Outlook shows the
"Searching for this meeting..." message and hangs. According to Microsoft this is just checking the conflicting appointments and this message should disappear after few seconds but it does not. The only way to recover outlook is to
end the outlook.exe task from the task manager. I have tried creating new outlook profile, new ost file or even a different computer but the issue remains. Can't find any solution on the net. Any help will be appreciated.
The email account is configured to use an Exchange server... and the computer is connected to a domain. The email is coming from a company which has full trust with our company's domain.

If not, I would suggest we use the process monitor to see where does Outlook hung when opening the meeting request.

Applications Hang when selecting / attaching a file using Spotlight

Hi,
Having a problem since upgrading to Snow Leopard with applications 'hanging' when trying to attach a file using Spotlight. I can repeatedly cause the failure in Mail and Safari - and probably others as well - but these two applications I use most often and need to attach files to most often.
When I select "Attach a file", and use Spotlight to find the file to attach, the file dialog box closes and the attachment is apparently made - seconds later the spinning wheel appears and the dock tells me "Application Not Responding."
Any ideas as to how / why this is happening? Help make it stop!

OK Search box
Mine is OK so something is screwy..
In your Finder Prefs > Advanced > When performing a search drop down. Search this Mac seems to be default and the one I have set. Have you got it set to search the current folder or use the previous search instead?
I'd then pull out the com.apple.finder.plist from your user Library > Preferences to the desktop and let finder make a new one. If all is OK trash the old one.
Relaunch Finder by holding down the option key while right clicking Finder icon in the dock. Relaunch will be on the bottom of the context menu.

IWeb 08 hangs when selecting Albums

First, all the obigatory items have been performed; trashed preferences, run disk utility and restarted, even safeboot procedure.
When going into edit a web site, the iWeb software hangs whenever selecting in the Albums section, whether it be the home album or subsequent albums.
It is a easily reproducible hang and it is consistent.

The more content you have in an albums page the longer iWeb will take to load it.
Some people put a lot of stuff in an album page and don't consider the fact that this page will take a long time to download from the internet and will probably lock up IE.
The maximum size I would use for an albums page is about 5MB on disk and this would be reduced by optimizing before upload.

IPhoto hangs when selecting trash

Hi there,
iPhoto is hanging when I click the trash button in the menu. Right or left click. Must force-quit to get out. Otherwise works fine.

This did seem to help. I think the actual problem was this: when I upgraded my iPhoto library, it inserted thousands of small thumbnail duplicates into the trash. The trash folder was so big it took a while to read it. Now that I have been able to empty it, iPhoto works fine. Thanks!

5.5 hangs when selecting objects

I run a mid-2010 Macbook Pro with Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz and 8gb RAM.
When I click on an object - image, text frame - or page in the Pages panel - there is a big spike in CPU usage (e.g. 3% to 60%) and the whole machine hangs for about 5 seconds before the frame indicates it has been selected. It doesn't do this in CS3 or CS4, and didn't do it in CS5.5 when I first installed it, but it did do it before I upgraded from 4 to 8gb RAM, and before I moved from Snow Leopard to Lion, so it doesn't seem to be an OS/memory problem.
I know there have been similar posts, e.g. http://forums.adobe.com/message/2885091, but none of the suggestions has worked. I have:
- turned off Preflight and Redraw
- rebooted
- re-installed the program
- reset preferences
- reformatted the hard disk and installed the new OS
- quit all other program, closed other ID docs, and ensured RAM and CPU were not overused
- kept at least 15gb free space on the startup disk
- tested it on large docs (200 pages, lots of images with complex effects) and on tiny ones (one page, one small text frame)
The behaviour remains about the same whatever I do.
Acrobat X has been even worse, e.g. selecting a page or opening a tab or even opening a drop-down menu takes 5-10 seconds. It has been like that since the first install, and re-installing has made no difference. (One day it worked well, but I couldn't figure out what I was doing different.) Acrobat 9 used to work fine, but now it is behaving like X.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Well I'm pretty sure it did the same under Snow Leopard; Acrobat X was certainly just as bad.
I do happen to have EPSes (and PNGs) in the file I'm working on now as it's an imported Word doc created by someone else. But it does the same in docs with no images at all.
What would be the best way of converting the EPS files to .jpg? Bridge/Camera Raw doesn't seem to be able to convert them at all. Preview and Photoshop won't even open them, saying they can't parse the PostScript. I can do them outside Adobe by batch converting with Adapter or somesuch, but it breaks the links with the files so I'd have to spend ages relinking them.
By font management I assume you mean opening the .indd file from within a package containing a 'Document fonts' folder. I wasn't doing that most of the time but have just tried it now and it makes no difference. The current fonts I am using are:

Mapping hangs when controlcentre service is down (wb_rt_notify_queue)

Hi,
Running OWB standalone (OWB 10gR2, db 10.2.0.4, IBM AIX), i.e. the db has a control center repository for the runtime, no running control center service (a.k.a. runtime platform service).
Executing mappings using a call to wb_rt_api_exec.run_task().
This used to work fine until last Friday.
However when I execute any mapping today, the mapping runs endlessly, the status in in the WB Browser in the local repository is 'Busy' and in v$session_wait I find one wait event, "Streams AQ: waiting for messages in the queue" and the P1 value of this wait event points via dba_objects to the OWB internal AQ wb_rt_notify_queue.
Also ran a 10046 sql trace on the call to run_task() and that never starts on any business related SQL, the trace file just keeps repeating the wait event.
The AQ Queue table wb_rt_notify_queue_tab holds some 3000 entries, the newest is from last Friday, so nothing from my last run_task() attempts.
I checked the docs and forums, and it is confirmed that running a remote deployment target without a local CCS/RTP is valid (and was working.)
Metalink, OTN forums and Google are quite silent on this issue.
What is going on and how to fix it?

I now see I got things mixed up...
Here some summary for the benefit of others.
This means that for a standalone target schema without control centre service, wb_rt_api_exec is not possible, nor sqlplus_exec_template.sql nor run_my_owb_stuff.sql. Only calling main on the mapping package will work.
Will either start that remote control center service (See Metalink Note 402401.1 - How to Setup a Remote Contol Center Service or Remote Runtime with OWB 10.2. This note explains how to construct the call to run_service.sh, and also that the password needs to be echoed to that script.)
Or I will call the main procedure. The system parameters and custom parameters are available on the procedure's in parameters.
The runtime tables will be filled when using mapping.main() procedure for a PLSQL type task - however no runtime custom ('user') parameters will be stored in the runtime repository.
I personally prefer the run_task() method (with remote CCS) since the passing of parameters is nicer.
However the availability of the CCS I need to guarantee myself, as the dba_jobs job in the standalone cannot start the service effectively.

Here maps hangs when finding directions

I am bringing my lumia 720 to the uk. Origin country is indonesia. Problem is that the Phone hangs whenever i try to find directions on here maps. Sometimes it Works when the destination is very close, like 5 mules away. But when my destination is 50 mules, the Phone hangs and i have to press the back button. This is very annoying. Anyine have an answer to this problem?

As far as I know, the 720 comes with Here Drive with a regional license instead of Here Drive+ with a global license. Since your 720 iriginated from Indonesia, it would have a navigation license for Indonesia only and this could be the cause of the issues you are experiencing.

CS6 hangs when selecting the pencil tool

CS6 hangs for about a minute when I select the pencil tool. Everything just freezes up and then after about a minute I'm good to go. I'm running Lion 10.7.3 with 12GB Ram.

You have "standard" set as your curser preference. To change it Edit<Preferences<Display and Cursors.

Firefox 5 on Windows XP hangs when selecting Tools - Options

Firefox starts up okay. I can browse web sites okay. However, when I select the menu option "Tools" and then select "Options", Firefox hangs, the Options window does not appear, and I have to do a forced close of Firefox.

Thanks, but that does not work. In fact I have now tried Firefox v3.8, v4.0, v4.1 and v5.0 and found that selecting Tools / Options causing Firefox to hang completely on every occasion. I have tried starting each of these in in Safe Mode but this does not solve the problem.
What does Firefox do when opening the Tools / Options window that could possibly conflict with something else I have on my PC?! This is completely baffling.
