Hi Experts , I am currently facing problems while running restricted version copy in sap apo .. The log says 0 location products copied and that the process has timed out. the error message is " /SAPAPO/MVM_INT_SVC_CO_VER_LCW reported exception in task DP00014 " , then ending in time limit exceeded. could anyone explain why this happens. please note even if the log says 0 location products copied , in reality they have have been partially copied.

Hi, thank you for your replies, I found out few things about my servlet, and its portability
and i have few questions, although i marked this topic as answered i guess its ok to post
I am using javax.servlet.context.tempdir to store my files in that servletcontext temporary directory. But i dont know how to give hyperlink
of the modified files to the user for them to download the modified files.
What i am using to get the tempdir i will paste
    File baseurl = (File)this.getServletContext().getAttribute("javax.servlet.context.tempdir");
    System.out.println(baseurl);
    baseurl = new File(baseurl.getAbsolutePath()+File.separator+"temp"+File.separator+"files");
baseurl.mkdirs();so i am storing my files in that temp/files folder and the servlet processes them and modifies them, then how to present them as
links to the user for download ?
and as the servlet is multithreaded by nature, if my servlet gets 2 different requests with same file names, i guess one of them will be overwritten
And i want to create unique directory for each request made to the servlet , so file names dont clash.
one another thing is that i want my servlet to be executed by my <form action> only, I dont want the user to simply type url and trigger the servlet
    Reply A.S.A.P. please..
    Thanks and regards,

  • Live Cache error with message number /SAPAPO/OM028

    Hi Experts,
When I run RLCDEL program for deletion of obsolete SNP orders in the back ground , system shows livecache error alert with message number /SAPAPO/OM028 in the deletion job log. The details of message is "invalid order" or ABAP programming error. Live cache consistency checks are not resolving issue. Product release is 5.1 with SP08. Please suggest a resolution
    Regards,
    Raghav

    Hi Raghav,
The sap notes 642503 & 973244 will fix your issue but they are for
    versions 4.0 and 5.0 respectively.
You can write to SAP by creating a OSS message to update these
    two message for version 5.1
    This will resolve your issue
    Please confirm

  • Message in /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL

    Dear all,
When running the /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL program we get the message: prod. xxx, vers: 000 orders exist (use report: /sapapo/rlcdelete)
In /sapapo/rlcdelete for this product I see 2 orders.
The difference with orders I can delete is that the Cat, Product,Location, lst.Ch.on and Chk.SDord is not showing any values.
Any clues to solve this in APO 4.0?
    Cheers

    Hi ,
Please run the consistency check report :
    1. /SAPAPO/OM17 consistency check
    2. Planning area consistency check through program /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK.
    3. CCR
check weather order is availabe in RRP2, RRP3.
than try to delete it again by RLCDEL.

  • Messages OM011 & RRP251 in APO

    Hi experts,
I am working with RECIPE in R/3 and PDS in APO, if I do not use in R/3 the  Setup Family (setup type key and group) I CAN create process orders in APO whitout any problema,  but if I use the Setup Family (setup type key and group) in R/3 and they travel to APO with the PDS I CAN NOT create  process orders in APO, I get the following 2 messages:
    Message 1: Invalid time interval
    Message no. /SAPAPO/OM011
Message 2: Error occurred while creating order
    Message no. /SAPAPO/RRP251
Why I have problems when I use the Setup Family?
    How I can solve them?
I need to use the Setup Family because I need to use the optimizer in APO
    Regards,
    Arnulfo Cordero Pradel

Arnulfo, The missing bit in your message is whether you have created the setup matrices again in SCM after the setup group transfer from R/3.
Also check whether your PDS has a production activity w/o fail in addition to your setup activity. Possible reason of the OM011 error is if a setup activity does not have a successor as production activity also order creation will not happen. The mention of rrp251 with om011 messages as in your query can happen for such a scenario.

  • Message /SAPAPO/SDP_PAR023: "Some CVCs cannot be processed in block..."

    Hi,
We are using SAP SCM release 5.1, the component Demand Planning. We are running macros in background jobs, e.g. a macro that populates a key figure by summarizing other key figures etc. We are using parallel processing, configured based on recommendation from SAP. When the number of CVCs to be processed by the macros becomes very high (we are processing ~300.000 CVCs at the moment), we get the following message in the job log in SM37:
"Some CVCs cannot be processed in block 2 ", message number /SAPAPO/SDP_PAR023. Obviously the block number varies, and in our case we have had the above message for up to 19 blocks. Users have spotted CVC's that were not updated by the background job, but we don't have a specific list of the CVCs that were not processed.
    OSS notes mentioning this behaviour:
Note 1282811 - Error processing 1 CVC, terminates the Parallel Profile
Note 1501424 - DP Job with parallel processing - job status message
Note 1494099 - DP Job with parallel processing - job status
The question below is only to those who have encountered the same message in a DP background job:
Did you find a log of the CVCs that were not processed, and what did you do to overcome the problem?
    Thanks in advance!
    Kind regards,
    Geir Kronkvist

    Hi Rico,
Thanks for your reply! The spool consists of 23.145 pages so I looked for the word "Lock" using the "Find in request" in the "Spool request" menu. The searched found two entries where there was a message stating that a CVC was locked. It must be noted that no users are logged on while our background job is running, and there are no other processes (background or dialog) running in parallel. When checking transaction SM12 prior to running the job, there are no locks in the system.
Our job schedule consists of a nightly process chain transferring data from BI to liveCache, and a monthly job that prepares historical data and calculates the forecast. We are now running the monthly job.
Is it possible that the parallel processing may cause the locking by itself?
    Kind regards,
    Geir Kronkvist

  • APO Planning Calendar error /SAPAPO/CAL404

Hello friends, I am working in the transaction /sapapo/calendar trying to change a Planning Calendar and when I try to Calculate the periods in the view "Calculation Rule" i got a error message saying: Factory calendar TU not found (message number  /SAPAPO/CAL404).
I have looked into SCAL transaction and the factory calendar is OK created and valid.
Thank you very much in advance.
    Regards.
    Ricardo Pereira

    Hello Senthil,
    Thank you for your help!!
In the Time Stream I have changed the field Factory Calendar for another one for testing and it worked well, I mean I could caculate the periods using another calendar. Comparing both It's all the same there is no difference beteween them.
But when I put the one that I really have to use (the correct one) in the time stream it gives the message Calendar not found. Although it exists and appears in the match code and If I get in the SCAL in APO as well as in R/3 I can edit it.
I have checked the calendar parameters in SCAL and also the time zone including in one of the locations that use this time stream and it's all fine.
Do you have any other idea?
    :O(
    Thank you very much indeed.
    Regards.

  • Issues with BDLS for table /SAPAPO/TSTROBJR after system refresh

    Hi,
After a recent refresh of our QA system from the Production system, when we are running BDLS for the table /SAPAPO/TSTROBJR to convert the logical system from Prod to QA, it's not allowing us to make the change.
    Error message reads:
    /SAPAPO/TSTROBJR          LOGSYS                              1                              0 <<<<
<<<< Error in field  of table . Manual correction required.
I have already tried to run the report /SAPAPO/SCHED_BUFFER_RESET, but this has not been of much help.
What can we do to resolve this issue?
Do we need to take some extra steps before we can run BDLS, or is there some other way to update these time streams for unloading point?
    Thanks - Pawan

Scheduling buffer reset did not update teh time stamps, but the new GATP checks are noe able to change teh time streams. So, issue doesn't exist now.

  • Forecast BG Job and messages to be Ignored

    Dear Experts,
The background activity definition for forecast has some 50 odd message numbers that can be checked to set the batch job (TS_BATCH_RUN) to success but the message class /SAPAPO/MA has several scores of messages related to the context of stat forecast that are not in included in this background activity definition (to check). This leads to a situation where the error management in resp. process chains fail and/or the batch job itself ending with errors but still showing as finished.
Is there a cleaner solution to this nuisance apart from the random bunch of message specific notes released by SAP on ad-hoc basis ? An example message number is 502, 503, 504.. esp. if I KNOW what messages can be safely excluded from raising the errors.
    Thanks
    BS

    Hello BS
I agree. Its an area which requires cleaner solution.
Please check this SAP Note# 1688648 - DP Job log in process chain: show when process status is set
In addition,  the successor step from process chain should be allowed to start on the event of "ALWAYS" after Statistical Forecasting step is finished regardless with Error or Success. This should help you trigger the next step without manual intervention.
Also please check if these notes are relevant as well - OSS notes 0001238917, 0001250385 & 0001399861.  These notes are interrelated to each other.
Hope this will help to some extent.
Let us hope we get some solid inputs on this topic.
    Thank you

  • Error /SAPAPO/MVM071

    Hi colleagues!
I have an error when I try to delete a planning version. I get the error "live chace is not available" with error message number "/SAPAPO/MVM071". I think is a basis error.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    -Italo

    Hi Hugo,
The first thing to check would be if liveCache is up and running. If you have access to transaction LC10 >> Click on liveCache: Monitoring or F5.
In this screen make sure the Operating condition of your livecache is active (green signal). If this is not green contact your BASIS team.
    Thanks,

  • Error while trying to adjust demand data in /SAPAPO/SPPDMRD

    Hello SAP APO gurus,
We are running into the error message "
(Close) realtime data load (DS 9ARAWCRT, QS SCACLNT800, DTA 9ARAWCRT) not started" Message Number /SAPAPO/PDEM119
While trying to change the demand in tcode /SAPAPO/SPPDMRD.
We have looked at OSS Notes 918444 and 967059 and it is not applicable to 7.0.
We have checked the RFC connection and it is correct as well. We are stuck and not able to find out the solution to this issue.
Please advise how we can fix this issue as it is holding up testing,

    Hi Vivek,
I have added Master Data in the past as well. Recently this system (Z45) was upgraded and the planning area was re-activated by my Project Lead. After the re-activation i am unable to add any Master Data and Save.

  • COM routine error code descriptions in SAP APO - transaction /SAPAPO/OM10

I had recently encountered a  COM error in SCM APO and wasted a lot of time trying to figure out what the error code actually meant.
If you ever have this issue, you can use transaction /SAPAPO/OM10 to resolve any COM routine error message.
You can also check the message class /SAPAPO/OM_TS and possibly some other /SAPAPO/OM* message classes as well. This is where the error message descriptions are coming from.
    Hope this helps.

    Hello Gabor,
-> As you know, you could use the transaction /n/sapapo/om10 to Display Meaning of COM Return Code.
-> In case you got a COM error in SCM APO => to avoid a spending a lot of time trying to figure out what the error code actually meant, please, open the OSS message to the component BC-DB-LCA to get the liveCache application support from SAP on this issue.
Thank you and best regards, Natalia Khlopina

  • Error while creating CVC in background in SCM 7.0

    Hi Experts,
I'm running creation of CVC in background, but the job is getting cancelled. In job log I can find below error messages.
Message Text : Internal Error /SAPAPO/SCMB_PSTRU_PLOB_TEMPL=>RAISE_EXCEPTION_FRO
    Message class :  /SAPAPO/SCMB_PSTRU
    Message No :000

Your advice in this regards would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Manasa

    Hi Manasa,
What is your source for creation of CVC? Are you trying to create CVCs from infocube?
Could you try out the following to identify the root cause?
In the create CVC (/sapapo/mc62) variant, uncheck the check boxes for all the 3 checks at bottom of the variant, and also uncheck the "adjust time series objects" checkbox.
Come to "selection condition", and select one or few CVCs from your source (Infocube, or flat file, whatever).
Then try to run the job, which should only create one or few CVCs as per your selection criteria.
If you are able to create CVCs in this way, that could mean that you might be having some issue during some check or generation of time series. Delete the created CVCs and again try to create them by activating the checks one by one.
If the above helps in identification of the issue, then it might be possible to attack and resolve the issue e.g. special character, etc.
PS: You could also try the "load to worklist" option to try to identify the CVC having issue. There you can specify one or few CVCs to be created in one go, and this might help in identifying if there is an issue with a certain CVC.
    Thanks - Pawan

    OptimizeServer says  GOOD BYE
Please help me to resolve this issue.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Khadar

    Hi Khadar,
    1) The information you have provided is the CTM optimiser log.
Run the job in background and in  sm37 and click on job log &
analyse the exact error happened.  In case if you are not able
to do, please provide the error log.
    2) Check the livecache is stable in its operations when the job
    runs (check with basis team)
    3) Run consistency check for master data before CTM run
    4) Check for any struck queues and clear those and rerun
    5) If you feel more inconsistencies in system, run livecache
    consistency and rerun CTM run
    Regards
    R. Senthil Mareeswaran.

  • Error while executing the program RIMODAC2.

I am not sure of this program's functionality.
While i execute this program it displays a error message which is displaying a very old Sales Order in the message.
    this is the message
    Function: /SAPAPO/CIF_SL_DOC_INBOUND
    Text: Customer requirement N BM 0100005129 000003 0001:
the number 0100005129 is a Sales order.
    Regards,
    Kevin.

    Hi,
It seems that the line raising the exception is:
    pstselect=con.prepareStatement(selectQuery,ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_SENSITIVE,ResultSet.CONCUR_UPDATABLE);
I don't know the odbc bridge so I'm just guessing, but you cant try with:
    pstselect=con.prepareStatement(selectQuery);
    and see what happens.
I recommend you to use the thin driver, with a single jar you can connect to Oracle without having to configure anything on your machine, just supply a database url, a username and a password.
    ciao,
    Giovanni
P.S. the code you posted is prone to NullPointerException, if you got an exception you catch it in the the first cathc block, bat after printing the stack trace you are going on even if the variables are null.
