Message no. /SAPDMC/LSMW804

Hi SAP gurus,
in LSMW T code i am getting the below error in 9th step i.e. read data. please help me out....
Message no. /SAPDMC/LSMW804
Thanks,
BKT

Hi,
Please refer the note 753511.
You should specify the physical name as the logical name is given(this has to be specified including the physical path!)
LSMW itself works with the physical files only - the logical one is used for the interface program.
The CSN-Note 753511 has to be considered. FILE has to be specified with the whole physical name in LSMW as described in the note: the LSMW file name has to be fully specified, this is including the path (but max. 45 chars). Please include the path in field "File" of the popup and to shorten the file name to keep it all together below 45 characters.
You can use new names for logical path and file. LSMW creates one in FILE automatically and also sets the assignments between logical and physical correctly without errors.

Waman

  • Message Class assignment to application area

    Hi all,
Now i have created a Z* message class and would like to assign this class to application area asset accounting for GGB0 purpose.
Means, when i am creating validation rules at AA, and while putting error message number,  system showing message class /SAPDMC/LSMW_GLO_040 and i have to choose from this message class only. Here i cannot choose message from another message class. Since i would like to use a message from my own Z* message class.
    Please suggest.
    Regards,
    Srinu

    Hi,
While being in GGB0, stand on the node of the validation group (e.g. Asset Accounting - Master data), go to Menu - Environment - Change Message class.

  • Ligical Path Error at LSMW

    Hi,
I am in process of creating a LSMW with standard object for Purchase Order.
At the step of assigning Input File, system is giving me error as 'No Logical Path has been specified' (Message Number - /SAPDMC/LSMW_OBJ_060046).
Can anyone tell, how this error can be resolved?
    Regards,
    Prashant

    hi,
When you make assignment for transaction FILE...you have to give the logical file and physical file name..
    check assignments properly...
    Also check sap note 753711

  • Very important OSS Note issue

    Hi ,
i have to implement an OSS Note 409645 .
we need to do very small changes in Program  /SAPDMC/LLSMW_GLO_020F03.
But we are getting information message '' No valid change license available for namespace /SAPDMC/  ''  after this action terminates.
i am unable to understand some points mentioned in description of OSS Note
can any one please help me in understanding it and help us how to implement this note
    Long Text
      Symptom
When importing a project (export/import via text files), the following
    error occurs:
Error while importing project xxxxxxx (table /SAPDMC/LSMCUST)
    Message number /SAPDMC/LSMW_GLO_010046
      Additional key words
      Cause and preconditions
The error was caused by an incorrectly exported record.
      Solution
If you have not yet done so, change the namespace role of the /SAPDMC/
namespace from 'P' to 'C' using the tools in transaction SE01.
Then implement the attached correction in the include
      /SAPDMC/LLSMW_GLO_020F03 of the exporting system.
Repeat the export, the export should then no longer export the incorrect
line. After that, repeat the import into the target system.

    Hello Gaurav,
From my understanding, this note was two steps of implementation:
    - Manual steps
    - Program corrections
In manual steps, it seems you have to use transaction SE01 to change some configuration. To do this, check:
    - Enter SE01 transaction
    - Click on icon 'Transport Organizer Tools'
    - Double click on entry 'Display/Change Namespaces'
    - Search for entry namespace /SAPDMC/ and change 'namespace role' attribute from P to C.
For program corrections, you can implement them using SNOTE. It is the most recomended procedure.
Hope that this may help you.
    Kind regards.

  • Message with IDOC number, created by LSMW, missing in job log in SM37

    Hi gurus,
We have a temporary interface which uses LSMW to create IDOCs and update in SAP. It's used for materials, BOMs and document info records. In LSMW we have defined standard message types MATMAS_BAPI, BOMMAT and DOCUMENT_LOAD for the IDOCs. All these have the same problem.
A background job runs and starts LSMW. In the job log in SM37 I want to see which IDOCs were created. For some reason this is different in my development system and my test system, and as far as I know all settings should be the same. In the test system LSMW creates more message lines in the job log, than it does in the dev system. Message number E0-097 is "IDOC XXXX added", and this is missing in the dev system.
This is what it looks like in the dev system:
Data transfer started for object 'MATMAS' (project 'X', subobject 'Y')             /SAPDMC/LSMW   501    I
    Import program executed successfully                                                             /SAPDMC/LSMW   509    I
    File 'XXX.lsmw.read' exists                                                                               /SAPDMC/LSMW   502    I
    Conversion program executed successfully                                                    /SAPDMC/LSMW   513    I
Data transfer terminated for object 'MATMAS' (project 'X', subproject 'Y')       /SAPDMC/LSMW  516    I
And this is what it looks like in the test system. More information, which is exactly what I want in dev system too:
Data transfer started for object 'MATMAS' (project 'X', subobject 'Y')             /SAPDMC/LSMW   501    I
    Import program executed successfully                                                             /SAPDMC/LSMW  509    I
    File 'XXX.lsmw.read' exists                                                                               /SAPDMC/LSMW  502    I
    Conversion program executed successfully                                                    /SAPDMC/LSMW  513    I
    File 'XXX.lsmw.conv' exists                                                                              /SAPDMC/LSMW   502   I
    IDoc '0000000002489289' added                                                                      E0                         097   S
    File 'XXX.lsmw.conv' transferred for IDoc generation                                      /SAPDMC/LSMW   812   I
Data transfer terminated for object 'MATMAS' (project 'X', subproject 'Y')      /SAPDMC/LSMW   516   I
In both cases the IDOC is created and update works fine.
My only issue is that I can't see the IDOC number in the dev system. I know I can get the IDOC number in WE02, but in this case we have program logic which reads the job log to be able to check IDOC status before sending OK message back to the other side of the interface.
I hope any of you can have an idea how I can update somewhere to get message E0-097 with IDOC number into the log.
    Regards,
    Lisbeth

    Hi Arun,
If you want to show your messages in the job log you have to use the MESSAGE statement. In case you use WRITE statements an output list be created which can be found in the spool (there is an icon to go to the spool directly).
    Regards,
    John.

  • Error LSMW - /SAPDMC/LSMW_OBJ_060045

    Dear experts,
I'm in trouble when I do the LSMW for BOM loads (SAP PP).
Follows the error attached, no message: / SAPDMC/LSMW_OBJ_060045.
I believe the error is in the file conversion in T_CODE FILE. But I can not find.
    Please help me.
    Thanks.
    Cristiane.

did you maintain all this entries for logical path and logical file manually in transaction FILE, or did you leave it to LSMW to create them automatically?
I just did a quick test in my IDES and let LSMW do it on its own. Just entered the name that I wanted for logical file and logical path and hit enter.
Comparing it with your entries I do not see much difference, except that my entries have all a description, and I did not use any underscores in the name of logical path and logical file, just one single word.
A major difference is that I am on a Unix server and you are on a windows  NT, so I don't know if your physical file is sufficient described.
Try it again with auto creation from LSMW using a short name without underscores for logical path and file and let me know

  • Tables for XI messages

    Hi all,
Can any one please give me list of DB tables which are used for XI messages.
Any links, docs, threads would help me
    reg,

    HI,
    SXMSPMAST, SXMSCLUP, SXMSPCLUR
the last two are cluster tables
and you won't get XML messages directly from them
    have a look inside them
The classes that reads this information in SXMB_MONI are abap classes,
(can be seen at SE24) it is quite difficult to use them,
you might debug SXMB_MONI or use SE30 and see all the classes
    that have been used.
You can use value mapping if you are not looking at picking up values from application system. It is just like SM30 transcation. You can get the info under SAP XI->Design and Configuration->Configuration->Value Mapping.
    Also see the
    these tables,
    /SAPDMC/LSOMAP Field Mapping
    /SAPTRX/SCAOTMAP
    /SAPTRX/SCCNDMAP /SAPTRX/SCEVTMAP
    /SAPTRX/SCFUNMAP /SAPTRX/SCSOMAP
