Message Output for New & Changed PO

Hi, All,
I maintain PO output condition using MN04 and set the dispatch time as 4 (immediately). When I created a new PO and save, the message is output immediately. When I changed PO, I want the output is set 1 (Send with Periodically with scheduled job) automatically. What should I do to meet this requirement?
Thanks!

Hi,
When condition record maintained in MN04 and set the dispatch time as 4 (immediately), it will be automatically in PO creation/change( as it set in fine tuned of output type for 1 & 2)
OR
During  PO creation ,you can enter manually the PO output type in following path:
SPRO>MM>Purchasing>Message>Output control>Message types> Define message type for Purchase Order--> Maintain Message Types for PO,
Set & double click your PO output type and in General data TAB, do not select check box u201CAccess to conditionsu201D & save. Also set dispatch time 1 & save.

  • Message output for New Purchase Order Document type

    Hi experts,
I am having trouble getting a Print message output for a New Purchasing Document type that I created.
    Steps that I followed are:
1.Created a new Document type NS via customizing.
2.Assigned the new Purchasing Document Type NS to Output Type NEU which is linked to our customized form for Purchase order display. I used MN04 /NACE to do this step.
Now the message output gets created for my new document type NS but I am unable to display the message.
    Notes:
-There are no release stratergies in place for document type NS
-The NEU format works fine the other document type NB which we use for Standard POs.
Are there any steps I have missed? Please help to resolve the issue.
    Arosh.

Goto NACE select application  EF Purchase Order then goto condition record NEU select condition record select the last key combination "Purchasing Output Determination: Document Type"
here enter your doc. type execute
    maintain the condition record
NS  VN(function)   1 3 EN and click on communication and maintain
Or goto NACR here put EF and NEU and select the last combination "Purchasing Output Determination: Document Type"
    maintain ..
NS  VN(function)   1 3 EN and click on communication and maintain
    Hope it helps..

  • New message output determination after changed a PO

    Hello experts.
When we create a purchase order a message output is triggered automatically according to customizing done in MN04.
    Ok for that.
In which part of customizing can we define the output conditions of trigger again a PO? For example, I want a new output defined  automatically if price has been changed in a PO, but I don't want a new ouput if accounting has been changed. I can't find where to customize these conditions of output triggered in customizing.
    Thank you for your help.
    Regards,
    Peggy.

two configurations you need to check
    1. SPRO - MM - Purchases - messages - message types - define message type of PO -fine tuned control : purchase order - here you need to maintain whether you want to use the same output type for amendment of PO. print operation 1 and 2
    2. SPRO - MM - Purchases - messages - fields relevant to prinout of changes - here you need to maintain what field changes should be impacted for printout

  • Message Output for purchase order

    Dear SAP Expert,
We have defined the message output type for purchase order document type XX with special function. We have maintained condition record for the same. It is working fine.
Now we have defined another output type for another PO document type YYwith special function by copying earlier one.
But message output is not genarated in case of YY document type.
Please tell us what we have missed out.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Reva.

    Hi Reva,
In ME22N for your PO, click on the Messages button. Then click on the blue information button - this should display the output determination analysis for the order, and will show you which output determination procedure was used, which output type and access sequence was processed and whether the system was able to find a matching record. At the lowest level of detail it will show you the keys that were used to read the condition records. All this information should help you to determine why a condition record could not be found for the purchase order.

    hello all,
My scenario is after creating PO completely then go to message output through Messages button on icon row. On message output screen, there's no output item available. Then I must add NEU output type manually. Normally there's output type item available after create an PO. Btw, I've 5 PO Document Types but there's only one type of PO doc. type doesn't show up the output item automatically.
I also configure on SPRO "Maintain Message Types for PO" and "Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order". Moreover, I already have 4 medium on processing routines e.g., Print output, Fax, EDI, and ALE.
Please help me on this. Thanks in advance.

  • T-code SUIM taking much more time for generating output for profie change.

    Hi All
We want to extract report for profile addition and deletion for Users in ECC 6. While executing the the t-code SUIM it is taking much more time (taking more than 20 hrs). This problem is coming after patch application
Please give the solution/Suggest to minimize the time taken in report generation.
    Thanks-
    Guru Prasad Dwivedi

    Hello Prasad,
The reason for the performance trouble is a new feature regarding the user change documents. Since note 874850 and 1015043 you will get a more complete overview about the changes regarding a user.
The disadvantage of that new feature is, that in some customer system usage scenario, the performance is very poor. That's the case, if the central change documents are intensivly used also by other applications and the tables CDPOS, CDHDR, ... contains a very big count of rows. Unfortunatly the user change documents can not be searched by the key columns of the central change docs. - so the bad response time can explained.
    What now ... ?
There are some work arounds to get the change documents on faster way.
1st. - You can get the former report output and performance if you
would use the report RSUSR100 instead of the new RSUSR100N in
           separate mode.
2nd. - If you want to use the new report RSUSR100N directly and only
want to get the information about the traditional topics
(content of USH* tables) you should only mark the search areas
on the tabstrip 'user attributes') to get a better performance.
         - furthermore limit the date range, if possible
3rd. - You should regulary (monthly) archive the user relevant documents
for PFCG and IDENTITY from the central change documents.
As per our note 1079207 chapter 3 you can reload that archives
           into more selective tables.
The selection for change documents will be rather faster over
reloaded archived documents than the documents in the
           central change documents tables.
    Best Regards,
    Guilherme de Oliveira.

  • EDI message output for goods movements

    Dear experts,
we configured NACE to send EDI messages, when goods movements are created. When we use partner type "VN" (Vendor) and leave the partner number empty, no message is created. Only if the partner number is filled, a message is created. This means, that the partner number is not extracted dynamically from the goods movement and we have to make one NACE entry for each partner. For other applications (e. g. outbound call offs), the partner number in NACE can be left empty and when a document is posted, the receiver partner number is determined dynamically.
Is it possible to modify the processing, so that the partner number is extracted from the goods movement? How can this be done?
    Best regards,
    David Claes

  • Release Strategy for New & Change PO's - Using characteristic CEKKO-REVNO

    Hi All,
    I have the following requirement/scenario
    1. If PO is created manually no reference to PR, then the PO needs to be approved through a release strategy.
    2. If the PO has been created automatically either from a req or through SRM (for,eg) then the PO needs to be approved only if this PO has been changed. So this would need to go through a second release strategy.
To distinguish between the two, we are using Version number field CEKKO-REVNO in the communication structure CEKKO to be a characteristic in the release strategy.
This is what I hoped for would work after doing the necessary config,
For create PO's, in my classification I have CEKKO-REVNO as >=0. So any PO whose version number is >=0, will trigger relase strategy S1 (for e,g).
For change PO's in my classification I have CEKKO-REVNO > 0 And whenever you change PO, it will generate versions 1,2,3 and so on, and hence the release strategy will trigger.
    The problem
Whenever I use CEKKO-REVNO as one of my characteristics, the release strategy is not triggered at all no matter what the conditions are on the PO. When i removed the REVNO from my classification, release strategy is getting triggered as per plan.  I have also activated version management and done all the necessary config. I would like to know why release strategy is not getting triggered when REVNO field is used from communication structure CEKKO. Have any of you experienced this issue before??
Is their any other identifier I can use to address the requirement above? Let me know.
    Thanks
    Ashvin

    Thanks Charlie for your response.
The conditions in the PO is not equal.
On one occasion when I create the PO, I have given the classification as REVNO >=0 with a document type ZB for create (S1). So when I create the PO manually, the version starts with 0, so condition should satisfy here
On the other when I change the PO (with/without reference to PR), I have given the classification as REVNO as > 0 with document type ZC (S2), so when the PO is created initially it will not satisfy strategy S1 as doc type is different for S1. When I change the PO created with ref to req, S2 should take into effect because when i change the version will change to 1 and S2 should trigger because REVNO is > 0 and doc type matches.
So I dont know where the release strategy matches in both S1 & S2 for the system to not propose the release startegy.
    Let me know your thoughts.
    Thanks for your feedback.

  • Cannot get new messages to download automatically and auto reply with out of office message have to manually check for new messages to get it to do this

I am using Mozilla Thunderbird 31.3.0. I know how to create a message filter to set up an auto reply message, but cannot get Mozilla to automatically download new message and auto reply with the message in the filter unless I manually check for new messages, that is the only way to make it work. I have looked online and can't seem to find an answer to this particular issue. According to anything that I have found, I have the correct boxes checked in server settings: check for new messages at startup, automatically check for new messages, check for new messages every x amount of minutes. It's one thing to have to leave my computer on and Thunderbird open to make this work, but to have to manually check for new messages to get the auto response to work defeats the whole purpose of having an auto reply, as I use them for vacations, holidays, etc. I have wondered if there are any security settings that are causing this issue, but if so, I don't know what changes to make to them. Thanks in advance for any help. This is driving me crazy.

I do find it a bit odd that Thunderbird is not getting mail on schedule, perhaps you have an add-on or anti virus program that prevents that.
Holding shift while you start Thunderbird will start with add-ons disabled to check if mail come automatically.
Airmail is right though, use Verizons auto responder. This link might help with that http://www.verizon.com/support/residential/internet/highspeed/account+tools/email+tools/questionsone/85621.htm#
You say that not having such a setting in Thunderbird is something that needs fixing. This idea comes on the whole because Outlook has such an option. what most people are not aware of it only works with Exchange server. There is no "vacation response" in server mail specifications so every server implements it differently.
Just as all cars have a radiator, you can not take any radiator and just put it in, they are subtly different even though they perform the same purpose. Same goes for the various vacation responders, They perform the same purpose but they differ between email server software brands.
Thunderbird leaves it to the server end to expose the functionality, as they are really the only ones who understand what they did. Outlook exposes the option and mostly greys it out.

  • Message determination for 103 mvt type

    Hi all,
Can any one please tell me the reason for "Incorrectly Processed" message output for 103 movment. We have maintained all the indicators and output tab is getting appeared in the material document, but the status of the message shows "red colour".
We are not able to understand the reason for the incorrect processing of the message. Whether this is related to the "Print Parameter" which is maintained as Plant / storage location combination.
