Message output(IDoc) from MIGO creates multiple idocs repeats for each line

Hi Experts,
We want to send one idoc message thru MIGO output message control upon posting at HEADER level regardless of how many line items are there on the Purchase Order.
Using MIGO we are doing a 101 goods receipt on a PO with 3 line items and we are getting 3 idocs created with the same information form the message output control(basically it is at item level).
I don't know if this is how standard SAP designed the MM message output control.
From MIGO or MB03 there is no option to display the messages at the header level because you have to go thru the line item details to see the messages
I have also tried the collective slip option on MIGO and it did not work(help suggests that it will combine everything in one output)
Can you please let me know if there is a config or development that needs to made on controling the message output at the header level from MIGO.

S.Cart creates Split PO, One S.Cart creates multiple PO's for each SC item

SRM 5 SP04 SRM-ECC........we have 2 Situations
first My S.Cart has Only 1 line item. (Not Ext Req) the System creates 2 PO's (PO xxxx412, PO xxxx388) for the same item. Both PO were "ordered". When I look in the "Display Changes" on the S.Cart the two PO were created on same day 9:39am and 9.43am by the system....strange.......mmmmm.....
WF is set for items that have a $>20,000 the total value is under that....so...whats going on
Second glitch S.Cart has 7 items it creates 7 POs. line items they are all low value items. nothing unique with shipto addresses or S.Locations.

I using SharePoint 2010 , in that am creating a custom visual webpart, to show in my home page.
In that i need to show my custom list's listitems such as 'ID' and 'Title' as dynamically label controls in my page.
When ever a new item added in that list , it will dynamically created labels and displyed in my webpart as last item.
can any one help me ?

Hello,
You can't directly get newly created item in webpart but you can use CAML query to get item from list and show in webpart. Use OrderBy in query to get item in ascending or descending order. Here is ref code:

Two idocs of same type for each line item

I am new to SAP PI and seeking your help in the following scenario
legacy -> SAP PI -> branched to two idocs in ECC
The scenario is that a fixed length flat file coming from Legacy wil contain some line items but each line will be a separate invoice ..the twist . since it is a financial posting each invoice(line) has to be posted twice in the same IDOC but different logics which implies that for each line in the file there will be two IDOCS created in ECC of the same type, where one would be the AR posting and the other would be the AP posting
How can i make this happen without BPM ??
I have referred to a blog 1 : n possible in PI without BPM but here it is a combination of 1:n and also splitting of the line and posting it to two IDOCS simultaneously
since the transformation logics are different will I have to create two mappings but how and where to use them ??
Can I please have someone help me with the steps in ESR ad ID

is what iam unable to do
In the mapping i have to create two idocs per line item and this is creating just one
my source structure is like this
MT_abc     1.1
Invoices     1..unbounded
field 1
field 2 etc
and the target is
ACC_DOCUMENT02 1..1
IDOC                     1.unbounded
and i have mapped invoices to IDOC
now for testing in the test tab of mapping
how do i test if i will have two IDOC if i get one line item ??

How to create multiple idocs based on complex condition

my scenario is jms(xml file) to idoc. for each file have multiple records for each record i need to create multiple idocs.
source structure:

</hreference>
now condition is One input message must create only one output message for each unique rtype="number" and sid="cid" combination.
for example
1. rtype="number" and sid="cid" the value combination means 123456 for this one idoc
2. rtype="number" and sid="cid" the value combination means 789456 for this one idoc
--> the below file shows with out sid="cid"

Change the occurence of the IDoc to "unbounded", so that multiple IDocs can get create
Try with below logic
If (SID = "CID")
Then
     If(rtype = "number")
          concat(student,reference ) ---> removeContext ---> Idoc
Else
     rtype ---> removeContext ---> Idoc
If combination of unique student and reference can occur more than once in the XML, use sort command and splitByValue (Value Change)

Create multiple idoc with multiple receivers based on value mapping table

Hi,
Scenario:
Step1 : sender sends a finance doc iin the form of an idoc. This idoc will have multiple line items based on profit center. Do determine the value of receiving comp code(header field) n receiving system(logical sys name) value mapping table has to be used.
Solution so far: I can put an rfc lookup for fetching receiving comp code from mapping table with i/p paraameter as profit center . And split the incoming idoc based on comp code value by using split by value. Now I need your advise 2 take this further.
Issue 1 : say the incoming idoc has 4 line seg wid 4 diff profit center
Profit center.       Rec comp code.   Recv sys
P1.                       C1.                        R1
P2.                       C2.                        R1
PS.                       C2.                        R1
P3.                       C3.                        R2
Nw using this info, I want 3 diff idocs to be created for each unique comp code.
Idoc 1 : for C1 wid one line item + 1 for reconsilation ( to be generated additionally)
Idoc2 : for C2 wid 2 line items + 1 for reconsilation
Idoc 3: for C3 wid 1 line item + 1 for reconsilation
Idoc 1 and idoc 2 shud be sent to R1.
Idoc 3 shud be sent to R2.

U all r pretty close, but let me put this more clearly.
Step1: create multiple idocs based on unique comp code - I'm able to do this using rfc lookup n split by value. So I get 3 idocs each for c1, c2 n c3.
Nw as per the values from value mapping table.
Idoc for c1 contains 1 line seg.
Idoc for c2 contains 2 line segs.
N idoc for c3 contains 1 line seg.
steps2 n 3, where I do not have a confirmed solution yet n need ur advise.
Step 2 : for each idoc generated I need 2 create n additional segment, mapping 4 which will be based on the values in the original segments for that idoc.
In d above scenario, idoc for c1 contains 1 line seg, nw I want 2 add one more seg to it. The amount and pisting key values in this segment wud be calculated based on the values of the amount and posting key belonging to the original segment in this idoc.
Similarly for idoc for c2 there are 2 segs, nw I need one more, means 3 in allm
Hence for idoc for c3, 1 orig already present + 1 more. = total 2.
Nw I need ur advise on how 2 generate this additional seg in each idocm
Step 3: when all dese 3 idocs are generated, ( in this case itz 3, in real time it can be n), I need to find their respective receivers using rfc lookup n then based on the receiver send 2 resp recvng systm
Nw how do I do this?
Please explain with examples if possible 4 bettr understanding.

I have a flat file with many lines. Each of these lines has the same structure and has to fill a separate IDoc. How can I configure XI that it creates for each line a separate IDoc?
I already found a blog to such a topic: File to Multiple IDocs (XSLT Mapping)
But thatu2019s not what I am looking for (or I do not get the Point).
I also tried to set u201CRecords per Messageu201D to 1. But that is not working to. :/
Maybe one of you guys has an idea?

Hi Udo,
For instance if file structure is as follows:
<File>
<Header>
</Header>
<Item>
</Item>
<Item>
</Item>
</File>
Now if u want to genarate a new Idoc for each n every <Item> in the file. The Header Information is to be repeated for each IDOC as well.
Then allu need to do is import the idoc in XI, then take the idoc xsd and change the occurrence o..unbound and then create the external definition.
Look into this blog.
The specified item was not found.
Now use the external definition in your mapping instead of using the original IDOC. In your mapping map the item to IDOC, and for header data you have to use the useOneAsMany function.

Creating multiple input terminals for a boolean function?

Hi,
I was wondering how to create multiple input terminals for a boolean function? I'm pretty sure i've done so before, but I can't seem to remember how, I need to for a school assignment, and i've searched in the help in the program for about 3 hours before switching to google, which also didn't give me an answer.
I'm beginning to feel quite stupid especially since it is something quite simple I'm sure, but I just don't know how
my teacher is currently on vacation and since it was an assignment I actually should've done in september I doubt any of the other students still recalls.
What I want to do is create an or-function, with 3 boolean inputs, does anyone know how to do that?

Look again at the picture posted above, it shows exactly what you need, the "compound arithmetic" node, found on the numeric and the boolean palette.
Resize it to the desired numbers of inputs.
right-click for the desired operation (AND, OR, XOR, etc.)
right-click on each terminal to invert the particular input or output (shows as small circle).
(I am not sure who gave the one star rating above, but that was certainly undeserved )

My family has multiple iOS devices, all with 1 Apple ID. With iCloud coming, should I create separate Apple IDs for each member of my family?

Between my family, we have 2 iPhones, multiple computers, iPads, and an Apple TV ALL tied in to the same Apple ID (the one I created when I got my first device). With iCloud coming, I wanted to know if I need to create separate Apple IDs for each family member (for emails, contacts, calendars, etc.). For instance, I would like to share certain contacts and a calendar with only my wife, all media between all family members, and have home sharing so that I can play/stream content on my Apple TV. Will there be a way to have multiple and distinct me.com accounts and yet share the same Apple ID?

I happened to stop at the Apple store yesterday for a separate issue and had a discussion about iCloud. Seems like this is how iCloud works (also, there's another thread on this forum that explains it well).
Each member of the family can have their own iCloud ID, which will be used for Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Apps, Bookmarks, Media, Photos, etc. and having this content synced automatically with a Mac (computer). The iCloud IDs work in tandem with the associated Apple ID — so while you cannot have multiple Apple IDs, you can certainly have multiple iCloud IDs tagged with a certain Apple ID.
While all this makes sense from the iOS device standpoint, I'm unclear on how things will sync with a Mac computer, especially if the family uses a single iMac with multiple login IDs for various members. For instance, I currently have an iMac and iTunes content resides in my Public folder, which my wife can still access when she logs in with her login ID. I'm guessing that I'll be able to set up her iCloud ID using her login, set up my iCloud ID using my login, while both our iMac logins will retain the same Apple ID. This would take care of syncing Photos, Contacts, Calendars, etc.
Another (not sure if unique) problem I face is our Address Book — right now, we have one GIANT address book with different groups set up. Certain groups sync to her iPhone, while others to mine. Some contacts are common between both of us. I'm hoping that if she/I updates a common contact, then the change will be reflected in both our groups of contacts. I hope this makes sense — for instance, I update a contact named Joe, and he's on my group of contacts in my iPhone. Hope iCloud updates the master contact card for Joe on the iMac, which would then automatically trigger the update on my wife's group of contacts—that Joe also belongs to— leading to an update on her iOS device as well.

Problem of Creating Multiple Communication channels for multiple files

I have a very basic doubt but this struck me...
For a file-XI-file scenario,if multiple files are coming from same FTP server but with different names then we have to create multiple communication channels for all the files of different names..but is this a intelligent approach?Can we do something so that only one communication channel can receive multiple files of different names?plz explain in detail if possible ASAP.
I have another doubt as in File-XI-File scenario how the XI understands that a particular file is from this FTP server needs to be send to another particular FTP Server?is it only the name of the file which we give in sender comm channel & receiver comm chaneel which determines this????that means this name should always be same?plz explain in detail if anybody knows?

Thanks... I appreciate the reply. Since I wrote the previous email, I actually went and changed my apple id (the main id) and the documentation I looked at said iCloud will set mail up automatically(?)... I had it working before.
Also, I tried to manually set up the ID via the Mail Accounts screen(s) and I can't figure out what my server information is... Pop or Imap? What's the outgoing server and the incoming server?
I typically have never had problems setting up mail accounts (in apple mail) with no problem.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Creating Multiple Resource Objects for OOTB Connectors

All,
I am trying to create a second AD User resource object for the OOTB connector. I would like to think that the AD Connector (and all connectors, for that matter) was designed to handle the creation of multiple Resource Objects for the same Resource Types, but am I wrong? It doesn't seem like the OIM Connector can handle this easily.
Has anyone created multiple resource objects for a connector? Is this a fairly simple task, or will it require a large effort? Is it even possible? Any pointers?

I will provide a little help with the duplication. I found the best way to do it is to import the original connector. Go through the different pieces making each one have a unique name, that is not part of any of the other piece names. You need to have unique names for the following:
1. Resource Object
2. Process Definition - Provisioning
3. IT Resource
4. Form - Process
5. Scheduled Task
After you import the connector, rename each of the following to something unique. I would also update your process form to have a default value of your IT Resource, as well as your scheduled task values to point to the new unique names. Export the 5 items, no dependecies. The adapters will all be the same. Use find and replace for the values and then import the new XML. If it works, duplicate the XML for each of the new workflows you want to create.
