Message post probelm
I have been trying to post a message abpout a problem I'm having with a memory upgrade on a Satellite L300 laptop. On every attempt my message is rejected because of "profanity or inappropriate language". My message contains no such content, yet I cannot post it. I've re-read it carefully and can't find anything thats even the slightest bit objectionable, but I can't post it and I need help. Any suggestions anyone?

I'm trying to either attach an image to a message post or insert it in-line with a message. I've read several references to this ability perhaps being something that will happen "soon", but those messages that refer to this are dated in August of 2009. Here it is December and I still can't figure out how.
The online help says very clearly:
How do I insert an image in a post?
You insert an image the same way as you did before, but now you have more choices about where the image comes from and how it looks. You can insert an image from your computer (this uploads the image to your gallery), from your image gallery (if the image has been approved), or from another location on the Web.
To insert an image in a post:
Start a new post.
You can insert images anywhere: in messages, replies, blog articles, ideas, or comments.
Click the Insert Image button in the editor's tool bar (it looks like a tree).
Well, I don't know how you could do it "before", but there is no "Insert Image" button in the editor's toolbar at all.
There are also messages in this forum that say you can paste from a Word document (there IS a "Paste from Word" icon on the toolbar.) However, when I paste from word, the images in my Word document are lost.
Finally, I thought I'd post the images in a gallery. Again the online help says:
To upload an image to your image gallery:
Go to your Profile page and click the View Image Gallery link.
Click Browse to select an image file to be uploaded.
If the image is small enough (the size limit is set by your community), the image is uploaded. A preview of the image appears so that you can make sure you uploaded the right image.
There is no "View Image Gallery" link on my profile page.
Now, I am a computer consultant and therefore (hopefully) very computer-savvy, so this is not an issue with me being a forum "novice." But I've always had issues with help documents that say "click on this icon" and don't show a screenshot of where the icon is.
And, I can't PROVE that my profile page doesn't have a gallery link because I can't upload a screenshot! <grin>.
So, can anyone clarify if and how we can upload images? Or if there is a definitive help document that lays this out, provide a link to that document? The help "search" function is pretty weak, because it does a FORUM search on any term you type in, rather than restricting it to help documents.
There's also some references to having to be a "silver member" in order to upload images, but no information on what is required to become such a member.

Payroll's Error message: Posting balance is not cleared (period 02 / 2014 a)

After EHP 6 upgarde, when process the payroll, system prompt this error message: Posting balance is not cleared (period 02 / 2014 a).
Checked the RT and it showed that the tax employee deduction was RM90.93. But when it comes to payslip display the tax amount showed different figure of RM90.94 which might be the cause for “posting balance is not cleared” messageHi,

I just visited manu.net profile and its showing total messages posted as 0. But i don't think it right.
I also observed CrystalTech profile and some more confusions. Total messages posted showing only 5 but more than that actually.Mathan, I had the same misunderstanding also. Currently, when I look at my profile, I have 178 messages posted. But if I do a search on all posts by "JackDunaway", there are 727 results. The difference is due to the Idea Exchange and also private boards.

View mail messages posted from Outlook?

How I can view messages posted from Outlook?
I want to use swing controls which can show formated text and pictures like in Outlook.Resolved, had to move the mail messages into a new temporary user account delete the cyrus header/cache/index then do a user rebuild on the temp user with mail bfr. Looks like it finally got them all in. Still not sure why mailbfr couldn't restore the original user, maybe corruption, but that wasn't the point of the question.

Error Message Posting a Non-PO Vendor Invoice
The instance is ECC 6.0.
While trying to post a non-PO vendor invoice, I am getting the below error message:
"RKEAK-FIELD(12) is not an input field
Parked document could not be posted 00 S 347 RKEAK-FIELD"
Does anyone ever bumped into the same error message or have an idea what is generating the error?
The issue started happening after one of the accounts in posting (Vendor Discounts) which is a CE was changed to post to Profitability Segment in OKB9. This error was not faced earlier when the account was posting to Cost Centers.
We are using new GL and Doc Splitting functionality.Thanks for your reply.
I checked the note and it says the affected release are 3.0 D to 3.1G. But we are on ECC 6.0. Moreover, as per the note this is an issue with Tcode FB01, but I am using tcode FB60 for creating the non-PO invoice...

POSTING ERROR-MESSAGE POSTING BALANCE NOT CLEARED FOR THE PERIOD 2/2008A

I have a problem in payroll posting. While posting for one employee's persn number rejected and gave a message as Posting Balance not cleared for the period 2/2008A. To come out of the problem I changed the Payroll status record using pu03 changed the Erliest Retro date as 01.06.2008. Again tried to post but not posted again same Message displayed. After changing the Erliest Retro record I have not run the payroll for the particular employee. Is it required to run the payroll for the employee after changing the status in PU03. Request to guide on this

The posting may be out of balance for the employee because their credits dont equal their debits...
Do a test posting for the employee with the log on, this will tell you what amounts are being posted - and should give you an inidcation of where the balance is not cleared...
Yes, you would have to re-run the employee if you'd changed the retro date in PU03, but I dont think that will fix your posting problem....Should the employee have retroe'd?
From what I have seen, just changing the control record doesn't usually fix an out-of balance..there is usually another reason....eg wagetype incorrectly posting to the wrong number of accounts....or a missing wagetype on the employee (eg bank details...no /559 for the net pay to go to).

The date format you have mentioned 009 2011 won't be supported by SAP system. Please enter it in correct format. If the format is OK an not working means MM posting periods are not open for this month this error will come.In MMPV give company code and specify the period to close and save.Again go to same transaction open the period for this month. Message posted from BPEL not found in oc4j JMS queue
Hi,
I am facing a weird problem when I try to post a message in oc4j JMS from a BPEL process.
There is no exception(Not even in the logs) and the BPEL process gets completed. But the message is missing(Could not find it while monitoring the queue).
I am using SOA suite 10.1.3.5 and the oc4j JMS queue which comes with the installation.
Can someone help me please.

I get the following error message twice when posting a journal:
"An error occured when parasing returned XML
Only one top level element is aloud in an XML document"
Despite the error message the data is sent to the database, the journal works but gives always an errror message and takes quite a long time to do and the posted journal isn't visualised on the screen but i find the journal I search for it.

It looks like you have problems with the Journal templates. Please try to regenerate the template using the Journal wizard option. It will ask you to keep data into the system, so not problem regarding the data already registered. To be sure(if you are working on a production system), try to save all the jrn* tables from SQL server.

Error message "posting date is initial"
I m getting error while adding material to pre-existing contract - "posting date is initial" (Message no. F5669).
looks like Fiscal year and period cannot be derived.

I didnt do any manual changes. butthe posting period shows "0" value.
I believe the system is not able to determine the posting period because it could not find any posting date.
but not sure why so. because there are 17 materials entered in the same contract some time back.
And now its erroring out.

Tried to log into my FaceTime account, but keep on getting "password incorrect" message. Restarted iPad as suggested by posted comments but still no positive result. Tried alternative email accounts such as @me.com but also no positive result. Please help.
Well after two attempts at trying to repair Facetime and iMessage by restoring my iPad, I am still left with the same outcome, no Facetime or iMessage. What I think has happened is when I first set up my iPad I used a different password, now that i have changed my password and cannot remember the old one I cannot access eitehr application. Whast strange is that you would think that when changing my password it would change the password on all devices when doing the synch from iTunes. For some reason this has not happened and the old password is still intact in Facetime and iMessage. I even tried backing up twice, the first time from iCloud and secondly from my Mac but even this has not resolved the problem. I also set up my iPad as a "new" iPad and this also had no impact. still struggling to resolve this, would appreciate help if anyone out there has a solution or something else I can try. i have run out of ideas.

In the event I can't post the picture, the error message comes up when I try to "Reorganize Memory", which I am dong because the session is crashing frequently.
