Message restart

Hello experts,
i am wondering at which point messages are getting reprocessed after encoutering a systemerror. At which point does the message restart?
I am having multiple messages on errors which failed due to a mapping issue. I solved this problem by using an extended receiver determination which only sets receiver if a certain precondition is fullfilled, if no receiver is determined, i just ignore it in receiver determination. Because this messages should never reach anybody!
But restarting the messages just leads to getting the mapping error again! Do failed messages only restart at the position they failed before?
For example:
Having mapping failures and restarting the messages just leads to restarting the adjusted mapping again, without the receiver determination step before?
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Markus Schalk

Yes. All other previous pipelines will not be executed.

    HI,
If you are using oracle database you may need to run table statistics report (RSOANARA) to update the index. The system admin should be able to this.

  • I have run disk utility- the drive is corrupted- I get the error message restart your computer holing down the Cmd

I have now tried every variant of key compbinations but I still get the grey lock icon with a box which won't accept my password.
When re-running disc utility all I get is the same error message

I ran the Disk Utility and got a message that it can't repair the disk. This happened after I did a restart Command and R. After trying the repair cycle I got a message "Disk Utility can't repair this disk. Back up as many of your files as possible, reformat the disk, and restore your backed - up files" I found myself stuck because I couldn't shut down the Disk Utility. Out of frustration and patience I turned the I-Mac off by pressing the start key, thinking it would restart my computer. I feel like a fool now! I started the computer up and all I got was a grey screen with a flashing file with a question mark inside the file icon which is blinking off and on. I tried attaching my Seagate hard drive with no luck. What can I do? Thank You!

  • Message restart in SXMB_MONI

    Hi All,
I have certain messages in "No receiver Found" status in SXMB_MONI, which had occured because some receiver conditions were not there in Configured receivers of Receiver Determination. Now I have created those extra conditions and want to manually restart the message in SXMB_MONI but it throws alert" Message does not have restartable error status".
If I go in Configuration channel where I had missed my conditions there ewe have option as selected "If No receiver is found , Proceed as follows
Terminate message processing with error(Restart Possible)
In such case why does it now allow me to restart the message. How else can I restart the message in SXMB_MONI.

  • How often should the SMP server get restarted? Cockpit message "Restart Required!"

How often should I restart the SAP Mobile Platform server? I have received a message in the SMP Management Cockpit that states "Restart Required!".

    Hi Darrel,
Batish is right there is no need to restart server unless you change specific settings that need a restart. Ex. cache settings. You can find an "i" symbol next to these fields which need a restart if you change these values.
Also server restart is needed if you change any config files ex. admin-role-mapping.xml.
Are you able to reproduce this issue. Could you give a screen shot of this issue. What is the version of server?

    Thanks,

I had already written a book and I did not want to bombard people with more information, but in my previous research I did come across the major issues with the NVIDIA card.  I also was well aware that Apple offered a replacement program that ended in December of 2012.  I was going to add that in my original post, but I discounted that theory because I put my faith in the so called "Apple Genius" when I made my second trip to the Apple Store.  I brought the NVIDIA card issue to his attention and asked him if he thought that may be the problem, but he said no.  He said if it was the NVIDIA card that the screen would be completely black and there would be no startup chime.  When I experienced the screen issues I thought it was a problem with the NVIDIA card or the logic board.  I asked myself, how can a flawed hard drive cause the screen to act funny.
nbar and Rick Warren, I thank you both for your help and insight; people like you are the real "Apple Geniuses."  I was hoping there was a way I could wipe the hard drive before I dumped the computer or attempted to sell it.  I guess I will look into purchasing a new machine when I have the funds.  Again...thank you both!

  • How Async messages can be resend/restarted? Please help!

    Hi Experts,
I have read that Async messages are persistent that is XI stores Async messages in database. That means Async messages can be resend or restarted on the event of a failure.
    1. Will the XI server resend/restart async messages automatically or we have to restart manually from SXMB_MONI transaction? Is there any other transaction from where Async messages can be resend or restarted?
    2. Is there any setup needed to make Async messages restartable? Where do we do this? Can this be done for Sync messages?
    Please help me.
    Thanks

  • I have version 30 and use Windows 8.1. Firefox keeps saying restart to update. What do I do?

I "restarted" Firefox but that didn't do anything. I restarted my laptop twice and that didn't change anything. If I go to Help and About Firefox, there is that message, "Restart to update." Today, while I was on a website reading something, a message came onto my screen telling me to download the update before I could go on. I did not trust this message, so I backed out of Firefox and restarted it.
I have Malwarebytes and have run that full scan. I have Kaspersky Pure Internet Security and have run a full scan. So I don't know what to do next. Any suggestions? I will be very grateful for your help.

Please go to www.getfirefox.com and download and install the latest update. Thank you!

    Hi Dennis,
you have a problem with a http destination, may be not enough work processes. If you execute the test again, plz have a look
    - to SM50: Are there enough dialog processes)
    - to ST06 /detail analysis: Enough CPU power and enough memory?
    - to ST22: Any short dumps?
    - to SM21: Any critical system informations?
    - to SMQ1/SMQ2: How many message are queued? How many errors?
    - to SM37: Has Job with program RSQIWKEX restarted failed messages?
    - SXMB_MONI: Are the failed messages restartable?
2 hours is defintivskaja to long. BPM is a performance bottleneck, espially if you have loops.

Hold dow the Power button for several second or press Restart button." same message in French, German and Japanese. I restart but nothing change, same screen come up with same message. Any ideas? Thanks.

Looks like we've determined in a Kernel Panic, but nothing I've tried restarts the machine without getting the same restart message. (restarted with Option key, X key and Option-Command-P-R). Same screen keeps coming up. Any ideas on how to get laptop to sart back up without the message?

  • How to transfer Messages history from Mavericks to Yosemite clean install

I would like to do a clean install of Yosemite on my MacBook, but retain all of my Messages history and attachments from my current Mavericks install. Is this possible? What files do I need to copy from the Mavericks install (before I wipe the HD) and where do I need to put them after I install Yosemite (cleanly)? Anything else I need to do after copying them?
    Thanks!

I managed to finally get mine to work, but not after a bit of trouble and losing new messages since my time machine back up (about a days worth since my backup replaced my current. I backed up and upgraded last night, and I figured out how to restore messages this morning, so anything in between that I got on my phone was lost. no big deal).
Much of the below is from other discussions, so I don't want to take credit for it, but wanted to make it easy for you, and there was one small change.
First make sure you can see hidden files by opening terminal and inputting: defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES
    QUIT YOUR MESSAGES APP
Replace the following files from your backup to your current clean install. Pretty much all the files should be in the same spot, except for one folder that I'll explain further below.
    Same File path
/users/<name>/Library/Messages-------> /users/<name>/Library/Messages/ this folder should include 4 files:
    chat.db
    chat.db-shm
    chat.db-wal
    the folder "Attachments"
/users/<name>/Library/Preferences----> /users/<name>/Library/Preferencescopy any file that includes iChat or Messages in the .plist
Different File pathI am not sure if this matters, but it's something I noticed when I got a message in my clean install before trying to restore my history. In Yosemite, I noticed that that "Attachments" and "Archive" folder are both in /users/<name>/Library/Messages, whereas  in Mavericks, the "Attachments" folder is in that file path, but the "Archive" folder is located in /users/<name>Library/Containers/com.apple.iChat/Data/Library/iMessages/Archive, and within this same folder there is a shortcut to the Attachments folder. (I'm not sure if this matters, but this worked for me). I hope I didn't confuse you there!
    /users/<name>/Library/Containers/com.apple.iChat/Data/Library/Messages/Archive-------> /users/<name>/Library/Messages/
    Restart your computer
Open Messages and it will rebuild your database.
    Ta da!

  • Yosemite upgrade taking too long to restart

    Hello!
I am running the upgrade and the bar is full, but it's been a couple of hours with the wheel turning and the message " restarting". My question is, can i manually restart my computer without losing files? I did not made a backup, so I am afraid to just turn it off.

If you are still having problems, your only choice might be to shut down and try again. This time I would download the combo updater and run it instead.
OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Combo Update
    https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1804
it's possible you will need to download the full Yosemite installer and run it again.
If your system fails to restart, hold down Command R when restarting to boot into the Recovery Drive. Use Disk Utility to run Repair Disk and Repair Permissions. If the drive is OK, you can select to Reinstall OS X from recovery.
