Message saying iphone is disabled
my son forgothis password on his iphone 5c and now says iphone disabled. I have tried connecting to itunes and restoring it to original factory but for some reason it is not working. can someone please help me
force the phone into recovery mode (search Google) and attempt the restore again.

Syncing new iphone 5 with a Mac with itunes 10.6.3. Error message says iphone cannot be used because requires itunes 10.7 or later. Unable to download Itunes 10.7 to Mac. What do I have to do to import songs from Mac to new Iphone 5 ?
iOS 6 (which runs on the iPhone 5) requires iTunes 10.7, which requires OS X 10.6.8 or higher.

Go to control panel --> Programs (Uninstall a programs) --> Apple Mobile Device Supoort (right click) --> Click repair

You probably didn't install iTunes from a user account with Administrator privileges.

It could be for a whole host of reasons. You have not told us what app you are using. Go to Settings, General and Restrictions and review the settings.

Do not use this cable, the lighting cables have a history of failure; shorting out. If within one year of purchase date take it to Apple, the cable also has a one year warranty, if short is do to manufacturing flaw and not abuse Apple will replace it free! Otherwise a new cable is around $30. You could also try a reset or restore, but don't think a glitch is your problem. If you do try to restore, just remember to make backup copies of all the info / data on this iPod to your computer first, then attempt to restore. Good luck. Cheers.

www.apple.com/itunes/download/
from Safari. Not Google Chrome! It only offers 11.0.5 in google chrome. I had the same problem and fixed it by downloading the newest itunes (11.1) from Safari.
