Message should get generated in outbound program when idoc is posted in ot

Dear All,
Can anyone please tell me,how i can send response back to the idoc program.
Requirement: Outbound program will generate an idoc and when it gets posted in the other server a message should appear that idoc was posted in other server...
Now can anyone tell me how i can do this,i mean message should get generated in outbound program when idoc is posted in other server..

I have a requirement like PO message should get failed for P.grp other than AB1 and AB2.
Detail explanation:
I have a P.grp AB1,AB2,AB3,AB4 etc.... The current process is once PO created and saved the message will be triggered and IDOC is transmitted to the vendor, irrespective of what ever the P.grp.
My requirement is like the PO message should get failed if P.grp is other than AB1 and AB2, and reason should be shown any where in IDOC or in messages.
Pls advice.

There are only 5 vendors which is relevant for EDI and P.grp AB1 and AB2 denotes EDI PO, same P.grp mapping has been done in PI also via data ID. The user sometimes selects the P.grp AB3, AB4 etc incorrectly and it goes to the vendor which in-turn again the customer has to amend the PO.
Now I'm planning to include a piece of logic while saving the PO, check if the vendor is EDI vendor then P.grp should be AB1 or AB2, if it is a different P.grp then the system will not allow to save the PO,so that the user will select the relevant P.grp for EDI vendors. Pls let me know your thought and inputs.

Message is getting struck in outbound queue

Hi All,
I am doing a simple FILE to FILE scenario . The message is getting struck in SMQ2 (inbound queue). If i go to inbound queue and manually UNLOCK the queue entry then only the message is getting delivered . This is a new installation and we are on PI 7.0 .Please let me know if we have to so some configuration .

Check if your queues are registered in the SMQS transaction (for outbound queues) or SMQR (inbound). Go there, then enter the queues you need or reactivate them. They should be activated to process the message automatically whenever they receive something.

What error messages are displayed to a different program when login fails

I am trying to use an LDAP Realm and iPlanet Directory server for authentication with WebLogic 6.1. When I try to authenticate to the WebLogic server using an account with an expired password, I get only a Login Exception.
My question is is there any method to get back a more meaningful message when the password is expired or the account is locked or other situations similar to that so I can throw back an appropriate message to the user.
I am not sure if this message is appropriate to be posted in this forum, but any help would be really appreciated.

This is a coding issue in the form, maybe the number is too big for the box on the canvas.
It looks also like a business issue is kicking off the error, the message [640+49> 688] looks like some units of stock etc. check, e.g. the returned quantity is larger than the stock on hand.
File an SR with OracleSupport and/or open the UI's Form fmb code in Forms Developer.
Multi View relates to an (quite old) OracleRetail (Retek) Forms pll library that enhances the Forms features, if my memory is not letting me down.

No FI document should get generated

Hi,
My client has very strange requirement. They dont want any FI document to be generated during Stock transfer in MM. Is this possible with any material type?
We are using ERSA, NLAG, UNBW, ROH material type.

It would grateful if you could explain more on your requirement & your business needs. Let say if your request sending material out from your plant to vendor & get replacement for that without any accounting entry. Maybe this is due to damaged or expired. Below I give the suggestion for that.
Go to MB1B, use movement type 541. This will reduce stock from stor. loc. BBB & vice versa when vendor give replacement; stock coming in, use movement type 542 will increase stock in stor. loc. BBB. Both movement type will exclude accounting entry. Hope this would be useful for your needs. TQ

Accounting documents not getting generated for mvt. type 221 Q

Hi friends,
When goods are issued for consumption for project accounting documents are not getting generated.
I have tried with mvt. type 412 Q, 211 Q,
by mvt type 412 Q, the stock is transfered to project stock, it shows the stock of material in project stock, by movement type 211 Q the project stock gets consumed. So at the time of consumption of consumption account should hit and relevent accounting document should get generated. this is not happenning.
When i check material document and check for accounting document, message flashses that movement is not rrelevent for accounting.
Can any one throw more light on this?

Please check in PO item details Delivery tab. In that GR Non-valuated checkbox might be checked.Generally for account assignment category asset it is ticked.
If you tick GR non-valuated check box then at the time of GR accounting document will not be created.Accounting document will be created only at the time of IR.

Have you mantained Chart of accounts.
have you mantained Valuation area settings
Transaction event key
Valuation class settings.
Check your material master data in accounting view have mantained Valuation class.
Check your back ground settings OMWN.

Alerts not getting generated from Alert rules

Hello
I had a problem displaying Alert messages in Alert Inbox.I have created my category and I am raising the alert from BPM and thats working fine.But in some cases where I have define rules(via Alert Configuration in Runtime Workbench) for Alert Generation alerts are not getting raised.I am having the two background jobs running as per the documentation.
I checked by creating a rule where sender was BPM and receiver is File and the alert should get generated when the Adapter fails(i gave wrond username for FTP server).
Any idea what step might be missing?

Hello Rajeev,
have you checked in transaction ALRTDISP if the required alert has been created at all?
If yes, then have a look at the receivers, if no then check the following things:
- are your jobs running sucessfully?
- does the alert get created when you execute SALRTPROC report manually?
- are there old alerts of the same category not confirmed and flag surpress multiple alerts activated in the alert rule?

ERS generated Invoice Not Editable when Sequential Numbering is enabled

Dear All,
We have an issue of the ERS Generated invoice (Autoinvoice) number not editable, if the Sequential Numbering Profile option is set to YES.
We need to keep the Sequential Numbering enabled to generate the Voucher Number.
In the case of ERS generated Invoice, the Voucher number won't get generated automatically, if we do the validation of the Invoice.
But normally created invoices will be generating the Voucher Number, when a validation of the invoice is done, even though the Sequential Numbering profile option is NOT set.
Our requirement is that the ERS generated Invoice number should be editable, as well as the Voucher Number should get generated automatically when a validation of the invoice is been done.
How can we achieve this..? Please update....

Have you checked whether the POdelivery (PO quantity) has cmpleted in the previous invoice? Is the PO marked for ERS? If no please mark for ERS. I hope this will help you. Thanks

SAP F&R - Order Proposals not getting generated

Hi Experts,
I am currently on SCM 5.0 system. For a location-product on uploading the consumption data, the forecast gets generated but no Order Proposals are getting generated at all. When I look at the Source of Supply, the delivery dates for the location-product are appropriately displayed.
The scenario is basically Vendor -> DC -> Store i.e. V111 -> R601 -> R611 for the product FR11. The time series of supplying location is displayed for FR11-R611 in CADE while FR11-R601 is not displayed. I suppose, this may be, why the OPs are not getting generated. How do we generate time series for FR11-R601 i.e. for V111 (vendor) ?
Also, When i try to run a location status check on R611, /FRE/FU_CL_FRP_SAFOUT_CRIT comes out with a fatal error with the remaining others in an INITIAL state. How do we resolve this issue.

Hi,
I was able to solve both the issues with a change in the Forecasting Frequency profiles where the reference day for start week was on "FRP Location Activation Date". I changed it to Calendar date and checked the forecast and it worked with the Order proposals also generating. Also, the location status check out for the mentioned location was in "OK" state.
Also, a second methodology applied to overcome the problem was to go to SAP Menu -> F&R Processor -> Administration, from there go to the location tab where the locations had a deactivation date of 31.12.2009. I extended the date and then there was no need to change the forecasting frequency profiles.

we know that outbound programs are message specific ie for each message type there is one outbound program .
we know that orders 05 idoc transfers both purchse and sales orders data by using two
message types .
now my question is orders 05 is having two outbound program s ?

we can write no. of programs for each message type that is depending on using the message type.
we can change in the version of the programs ... which the requirements we can fullfill
for each message type contain minimum 1 outbound program to work.....

You have limited opportunity to attempt to create a backup of your created files.

I found the file but when I added it to the list for the Data Execution Program to ignore , I received a message that the Program.x86/itunes file must have the DEP on in order to run. Anyone else having this problem ?
