Message stuck on display screen...it won't go away!

This is wierd.  I have an email on my display screen that I have tried to delete and it won't go away.
I went into messages and deleted it there, but it is still showing up on the front display screen.
Anyone have any ideas on how to clear this message?

  • When I touch the email icon there is a draft email stuck on the screen that won't go away if I delete or save it.  I've already tried deleting and resetting the email account which didn't work.  How do I get rid of it?

I have the new iPad 3 and every time I touch the email icon there is a draft message stuck on the screen that won't disappear even if I touch save or delete.  I've tried removing the email account and putting it back on which didn't work either.  How do I get this draft to disappear?

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    Or Quit the mail app.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button.
Go back to mail and see if it is fixed.

  • U430 stucked at Lenovo screen, BIOS won't start either

Hi, I have IdeaPad u430 touch, six monts old. I had some blue screens in the past, I cleaned all possible viruses and diagnosed hard disc with no results. Laptop was running smooth until now.
I shut it down last night and today it restarted itself couple times and then I wasn't able to start it at all. It gets stuck at Lenovo screen, no Windows loading circle/dots.., I can't access BIOS or anything else through the novo button, it just gives me the Lenovo screen again. F2 does not work either.
I also noticed that when I tried to install updates it wouldn't do anything just spinned the Windows buisy icon for a while, if that can be any clue.
I haven't removed the battery yet, as it is under cover which needs to be unscrewed. The computer is still under warranty. I'm not sure if opening the cover wouldn't viod the warranty. I'm not impressed, my boyfriends IdeaPad has been good for six years
Any suggestions on how to boot the computer again or what's wrong with it? I'm totally done today, tomorrow I'm calling support, but I'm not sure how they can be helpful, if the computer won't boot at all...

  • Replaced fried hd with ssd, now stuck on grey screen, cd won't eject

Please help, I'm kind of freaking out. 2 days ago my computer wouldn't boot past the grey screen except for a message that said the master boot record was corrupted (I dual boot windows 7 with bootcamp). I put in my snow leopard cd and booted into setup. From there I ran disk utility and it said that the disk was corrupted, couldn't be repaired and that I should backup and reformat the disk.
I then tried to boot it as a target disk to salvage some of my files, but even though it would boot as a target, I couldn't copy more than a handful of files (using ditto, cp, and one other method). At that point I decided it was pointless and was going to reinstall os x and start over. When I rebooted into the install cd and tried to format the drive I got an error saying it couldn't be completed (something about a node). That's when I figured the hd was completely fried so I bought a replacement SSD.
After installing it, I tried to boot into the install cd again to format it and proceed. That's where I'm at now. The computer won't boot past the grey screen. The apple logo doesn't even come up. Ive held down the c key but it won't boot the cd. I have reset the PRAM (or whatever it's called when you press command shift p r). I've tried holding option (stays stuck on the grey screen), booting into verbose and single user modes (stays stuck on the grey screen), and running apple hardware test (stays stuck on the grey screen).  Also, now I can't eject the cd when it boots (tried holding eject and also function+eject)
Please help, I'm freaking out at this point.

Thank you! But do you think that a defective cable would cause it to not boot the cd now as well as the HD errors?
Also, this is kind of embarrassing, but if my trackpad happened to be broken to where I couldn't click it (broke a while back, but I use an external mouse so it never really bothered me) can I hold down the mouse button on my external mouse at startup to eject the cd or does it have to be the trackpad. If not, is there another way I can eject the cd?
    Thanks again!

  • 2011 Macbook Pro Stuck on White Screen and Won't Shut Down

    Greetings,
I just received a 15 inch Macbook Pro with a 2.2 i7 processor earlier today. On my previous computer, a 2009 MB P with a Core2Duo, I've had a shutdown issue on it for the past week or so: when I click the power button, and confirm the shutdown, the computer would start shutting down as normal, however once it reached the white screen with the spinning loading symbol at the bottom, it just got stuck on that. As I've transfered my old data to my brand new computer, I'm still having the same issue with it. I was wondering if this was due to a worm, or some software incompliancy? If anyone could shed any light, I'd be greatful.
    Thanks.

  • Text message stuck on loading screen

My Droid Incredible refuses to load my text messages. I click on someone's name to read the text and it just stays on the loading screen. I have tried taking out the battery and restarting the phone. Nothing works.

I installed Handcent, a free app from the play store, and it was a functional text interface when the built-in app wasn't loading. It has an easy batch delete mode if you have texts you need to keep in a long thread where you don't want to delete the entire thread at once.

  • My macbook is stuck on blue screen and won't load

Hi. Ive recently had problems with my computer. It's a white macbook and one day after I woke up it got stuck so I force turned it off. When I tried turning it on it goes to the screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel. After a few minutes it just goes to a blue screen and nothing happens. I have a lot of work on it and I don't want to wipe the computer. Also I've tried almost everything to solve this problem but it doesn't work. Can anyone help me?

You'll have to get your device checked by visiting an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Provider, your problem might be hardware related.

  • Help! Upgraded to Lion now stuck on white screen and won't finish rebooting! What do I do?

Recently upgraded to Lion and tried restarting my computer this morning and it's stuck on the start up screen. Is there anything I can do?

The hatter has some good approaches for long-term stability.
To get around your current problem, try restarting while holding down the Shift key. This should run one pass of Disk Repair and start up with minimal extensions loaded. Log in and look around.Try a few things and see if your Mac seems "normal".
Then see if you can restart into normal mode.
Then decide whether you wnat to continue to be a guinea pig for testing Apple's newest software, or wait a while until it clams down a little more.

  • Phone is Stuck on iTunes screen and won't Restore

Ok. I've been through this forum, website and even Google. I've litterally tried everything and am now so frustrated I could scream. Here's my problem. I tried to update my brand new out of the box iPhone 4S through iTunes (which yes, it's the latest version), it stopped and froze the phone. On restarting iTunes it told me the phone was in recovery mode and need to be restored, so I clicked the Restore button. It got maybe half way through the process then flashed me an Error 21 or something.
Here's what I've tried and all have FAILED:
    - held the on/off/sleep button and "home" button for the 10 seconds and let go of both, nada
    - held the on/off button and home button, letting go of the home button before the apple logo pops up, nada
    - held the on/off button and home button, letting go of the on/off button, and continuing to hold the home button, nada
    - went to windows > control panel > whatever, whatever > stopped apple mobile whatever > started apple mobile whatever > restarted itunes/connected phone, nada
    - restarted computer, nada
    - unselected all the duplicate songs, didn't seem to do anything...
sooo anyone have any bright ideas of how I can bypass the iTunes/USB screen it's frozen on and at least be able to access and USE my phone?!

Hold down the Home and Power button to shut off the iPhone. Keep it disconnected from the computer. Then, hold down the Home for 20 seconds. Connect it to the computer while continuing to hold down the Home button. Wait for iTunes to say your iPhone is in Recovery mode. Then, restore.

I tried connecting to my phones hotspot and the first time it didn't connect. I tried again and it worked fine but the message saying it didn't work was still there. My computer won't allow me to shut down or restart because i can't close the system preferences. What do I do?

  • What do I do if my ipod classic has lines at the top righthand corner of the screen that won't go away?

I am not sure when this issue started, but my iPod Classic has lines at the top righthand corner of the screen.  They show up on every screen now.  The iPod is working, but I don't know if this is a sign of bad things to come.  I have dropped the iPod a few times, but not regularly.  I also wasn't sure if this means that it is time to update my iTunes software.  I am going to try updating the software tonight to see if that fixes the problem.  I have tried resetting the iPod, but it doesn't make the lines go away.  I am just curious to see if anyone else has had this issue.  I have attached pictures because it is probably hard to diagnose my issue without seeing it.

It is not a software issue, since you have reset it and update the firmware.
LCD screen do konk out due to high temperature, or when the pixels are static and burn the screen, like the 2 lines, that's the reason we have screen savers or the screen power down, when not in used. Some users do have screen ON all the time when connecting to iPod Docking stations.
Other defects are due to poor SMT, when the display chip is mounted on the iPod motherboard., normally a band of vertical or horizontal white lines across the screen, these appear within 1 year, and Apple do replace the whole iPod.
You can get LCD screen replaced at Apple, if it is still under warranty or get a 3rd party vendor near your area if you want it done cheaper.
    Have a nice day.

My HP photosmart printer had been working fine until I turned it on today and it showed a blue screen with a power off/on symbol and quickly flashed to a blank white screen and hansn't changed since.  I've unplugged it and plugged it in several times and it still does the same thing.
