MESSAGE THAT PROGRAM ALREADY IN USE IN ANOTHER COMPUTER

This message appears each time Contribute CS4 tries to launch, making it impossible to edit web-site. Adobe directions to disable and then remove all elements including serial number were followed without success. Computer was shut-down and relaunched with re-installation, also with no success. Adobe's own staff (when they finally answered) had no solution. Their is no other program on which the CS4 could be used and all elements of previous installation were removed for a clean re-install. Does anyone have a solution?

Change which email address, primary, alternate, rescue ?
Is the address that you want to replace it with already in use on your account e.g. as an alternate or rescue email address ? You can check, and change/remove addresses, by logging into the account via http://appleid.apple.com

Odd, I have mine registered on a couple of computers and a couple of devices. I thought it started complaining after 6 total.
It might be worth completely unregistering (ctrl-shift-D) and restarting ADE to see if that helps; I don't think it will but it might.
You might need to ask Adobe to reset the activations on that account.

HT1386 I have been syncing my IPad to only one PC computer successfully for over a year. Now when I try to sync I get the message that the ipad is synced with another computer and can be synced with only one. How can I correct this?

I have lots of apps on the ipad and do not want to loose everything by starting fresh with the ipad. How can I get the ipad to again accept my computer and sync successfully?

You need to select the "Manage My Account" link and not the "Reset Your Password" link. Once you use the "Manage My Account" it will ask you to log in and in there you should see which email addresses are verified.

I recently bummed into an error message when I want to deploy a service template.
Setup:
1 HyperV server on win2k12 r2
1 SCCM VMM 2k12r2 on the hyperv server
1 template with all the objects in the library
Error:
When I deploy the the service template I get the below error message.

The issue is that I can't find it anywhere, not on my domain controller not on my dns server as a record and also not as a vm in sccm or in powershell when doing get-vm. So where do I need to remove it ( no it is not an option to create a new Hostname for
this service template ).

There could be a couple things happening.
One - you have a Service Template, it defines %Computername% as a variable. And you have deployed this Template once using 'foo' and you are deploying it again as 'foo' without deleting the previous instance.
Two - you hardcoded the computer name into the template.
Three - you are scaling out and you have hit the bug that the wizard does not increment the machinename if you have something like computername## where SCVMM should be incrementing the machine name.
Windows does not support identically named machines (you can't have two machines on the same network with the same computer name - they broadcast their name and the 'second' one shuts down its network stack). In support of this SCVMM also enforces
this rule.
And with any templates SCVMM is in charge of machine names at deployment.

Problem is need to log off computer to go from one web site to another with message that program still running. Logging off to go from email to something else is very time consuming and annoying.

Troublesome need to log off between switching from Yahoo to another website with message that program is still running.

Terminate Firefox from the "Processes" tab of the Windows Task Manager not the "Applications" tab. Then select firefox.exc and use the right-click context menu to "End Process" or use the "End Process" button on the selected process.
Windows 7 keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+Shift+Esc" will go directly to the Windows Task Manager and reopen the last tab that you had open.

I don't see why you feel you have to exit Firefox to get out of one website to immediately use another website. Very impractical. Does this have anything to do with desktop icons or not using tabs?

Audio Stream Recorder - Error: Audio device is already being used by another prog

I realized that Audio Stream Recorder is does not "work" through server list feature. So I am simply trying to use the manual method of adding URL's to the interface. However regardless of the type of stream, shoutcast, windows media or real audio, I receive the error "audio device is already being used by another program". Does anyone know how to fix this? I have closed my audio application etc to no avail. <RANT WARNING> I was very excited about using this application when I read about it. However an application that provides none of the stated features is not an application, its false advertising, since it clearly states on the box, help files and website this products "features". Anyway, it'ss very disappointing. Also, does anyone know what the supported steaming formats are, the help file say the application requires RealONE and Windows Media Player but does not mention audio stream formats? Thanks you in advance for any help.

I have the same issue. I updated to the latest software, to no avail. My first suspicion is that some Microsoft patch caused this, but I cannot verify this.

Check the "Purchases" page in the Mac App Store and see if there is a more recent version there already waiting for you.

OS Recovery
Boot up from your computer by holding down the command+r keys. This will take you to the recovery drive.
Select Disk Utility & hit Return.
In Disk Utility select the HD on the left & click on Repair Disk (bottom right).
When done, go back to your desktop by restarting your computer. Try the AppStore again. If still not working see if Yosemite can be downloaded from Apple's Download website.

I had Oracle 9idatabase installed on my system.I had to reinstall the Windows 2000 operating system on my computer. I used the Oracle 9i cd to deinstall evrything ,but when i try reinstalling it, i specify 'Oracle 9i' as SID and i get the message 'Oracle SID already exists. Specify another SID'.
What do i do? Can anyone guide me?

Yes, probably You're trying to reinstall the same database / sample database.
This should be the message that You receive when Oradim utility try to create a NEW sid as a service.
To remove the old one, look at the services list. You should find a service called OracleService<NAME>. The <NAME> part of the service is Your SID.
Then, from command prompt, positioned in $ORACLE_HOME/bin directory, if not in the path, issue the follwing command:
oradim - DELETE -SID <NAME>
This should remove the service. If I'm right, in some versions of W2K server, I've found that it was impossible to recreate the SID with the same name without a reboot of the server.

Sync your iPhone to iTunes, and see if that does the trick. Also you could try a Soft Reset with no Risk to Data. Holding down both the Sleep button and the Home button until the Apple logo appears and then waiting for the Reset to bring you iPhone back to the lock screen. Are you trying to add the email at Settings>Messages>Send and Receive from (2 Addresses) your iPhone number and your email address?

If yes, this issue occurs if one or more of the following conditions are true:
An object in the on-premises Active Directory has an SMTP address that's the same as the SMTP address of the object that's reporting the problem.
An object in the on-premises Active Directory has a mail attribute that's identical to the object that's reporting the problem.
An object already exists in your organizational account and has the same SMTP address or mail attribute as the object in the on-premises Active Directory

Trying to drop files onto a droplet that is already in progress with another file.

I'm trying to find a way to drop a file on a droplet and before the action of that droplet finishes, drop another file on the droplet and have a queue or some other way of photoshop recognizing and processing the second request once the first has finished. Currently PS CC 2014 just ignores the second file. I think automator must have a way but have been messing around to no avail.

Ah, I see now what you mean, Marc but I don't know an answer.
Maybe you could try and see what happens if you make two or more droplets
(with identical contents but a different name - so you can put them in the
same place). Not sure if this is even possible but maybe worth trying...
