Message type from Logical system

Dear All,
I need develop an inbound where the info is coming from HR system. I found Message Type HRMD_A can be utilized for the development, however im not so sure if the message type HRMD_A is originally exist in my R/3 4.7 or it was being distributed by the HR system previously via BD64.
Please comment on how can i check for it.
Below are the related info for Message type HRMD_A that i found in my R/3 4.7:
Message type - HRMD_A
Basic type - HRMD_A06 (for release 620)
Process code - HRMD
Inbound FM - IDOC_INPUT_HRMD
Thank you.

Hi Atish,
Thanks for your reply. Let me recap my scenario and please point me out if i'm wrong again.
For my case, Message type HRMD_A exist in both R/3 and HR system. Since it exist, then we do not need to distribute from HR again via BD64. Right?
IDOC can be passed from HR to R/3 without any additional config right? Assume partner profile and RFC destination has been configured correctly.
Please comment.

  • Message Type to Logical Systems

    Hi all,
in SAP PI 7.1 I have a question for you.
With transaction WE20 (into R/3 system) I find the logical system with each message type (inbound or inbound)
    My question is:
Is there a transaction which is the contrary?
That is,for a specific message type  , I obtain all the associated logical system?
    Thank all

    Hi Davide,
Do you want to see all the logical systems that are associated with a particular message type?
Then you can go to tables EDP12 (Pass MESTYP value to get the logical system in the field RCVPRN where RCVPRT = LS

    Hi Experts,

    Thanks Easwer for your help.
The info for getting status from function is very clear and I followed you instruction and completed the coding in BAdI and tested it successfully .... Thank you very much.  I need to learn where I can see the system status of the template,  i.e.  I1034 (Order Template) or Order or Quotation .....?  if I need to filter out Quotation, I can easily do it in the BAdI.   Could you please provide me more details?

Yes, you can use regular TCP/IP or UDP communication for LAN communications. There is however no built-in support for much else then WebRequests, so if you want to use any other protocol you will either have to implement it yourself on top of TCP/IP or
look for community projects that add said support (I'm currently not aware of any but it's worth looking around).

  • Sending Message Type from the same Logical System to 2 different ports

    Hi,
I need to transfer the same message type 'DEBMAS' in the same logical system,
to 2 differenet port - directly to XI (as an IDOC) and to function (as a PROXY),
In XI this are 2 different interfaces.
I see in we21 that when adding message type in outbound I can also write message code or message function so I tried adding an additional row of DEBMAS with message code but it did not work.
    Thanks,
    Naama

    Hey,
This question should not be posted here, but in the XI forum,
anyways, you can do it in 2 ways
    1) You can send the message to XI, and in XI it should be configured to send to
two different places, which can be done in the Receiver Communication Channel, one would be IDoc Receiver and another would be a SOAP Receiver. ( here you send one message to XI and XI will send it to the PROXY )
    2) You can specify the settings in your Partner profile (we21)and while generating the Port (we20).

  • ALEREQ idoc type from PI system

    Hi,
I have to change the vendor data from Inbound idoc which will be coming from PI system.
but, to get the inbound idoc for vendor we have idoc type as CREMAS05 and message type as CREFET
But,at PI side to send the vendor data, they see the idoc type as ALEREQ01 for message type as CREFET.
    Kindly provide me the resolution.
    Thanks in Advance.

    hi
yes u can export an idoc from r/3 to a legacy system.
the brief outline is as follows:
    1. set up an rfc connection. it has to be 'T' type in t-code sm59
configure the saprfc.ini file if on windows based os. if on unix based os configure rfcexec.c to have the login details of apo system.
2.set up logical systems( at least 1 each for r/3 and apo) using T-code SALE.
3.assign clients to the logical sytems using T-code SALE..
    4.create ports using tcode we20.
    5. create idoc segments using we30 and release.
    6. create idoc type using we31.
    7. create message type using we81.
    8. assign message to idoc using we82.
    9.build a customer model using tcode bd64.
    10. create an outbound process code usint tcode we41.
it will help if you specify your idoc that you want to use- for vendor, customer and material there are predefined distributions and idocs.
    Thanks.

  • Sending IDocs as 'control messages' to a Logical System

    Hi all,
I have defined an external Logical System to where I send Idocs. The Idocs are received and processed by a SAP Java Connector on that LS.
At the moment, when for example a purchase order is created for a specific vendor, a message to that vendor is sent through ALE, and the receiver port for that Vendor is set so that it resembles/is sent to the Logical System.
My question is, is it possible, for example when you create a purchase order, to define the message control in such a way that a regular 'New Printout' (or other message) is send to the Vendor (as it normally would), as well as an IDoc message for that purchase order to the Logical System: so send 2 messages to different systems upon creation of the purchase order .
The main idea is that the IDocs are sent to the Logical System to keep track of the actions done by a user, transparant to the user, so that its actions are logged.
    Hope this is clear,
    David

Yes, You can do it through outbound IDoc. Create another output types and configure the same from NACE and the processing would be done through EDI.
Then you need to configure the partner profile in WE20 with that output types.
    Thanks

  • Partner type -only logical system?

    Hi!
I have a scenario where I want to send an idoc to SAP using XI idoc adapter. It works fine using a partner type "logical system" (LS). But now i would like a scenario where the partner i a type "customer" (KU). I have defined a new business system in the SLD as a sender (just in case) and the partner of course exist in SAP under customers). I have also mapped the korrekt values to the IDOC (sndprt, sndpor and so on) -but these are of course overwritten using the values from the SLD (which only operates using logical system). Is there a way to integrate using a partner of type customer? I have made a similar scenario work using the Business Connector -what is the missing link to make it work in XI?
    best regards

    Hi Martin,
    > I have a scenario where I want to send an idoc to SAP

This is not foreseen in XI 2.0. You need to wait for XI 3.0, there it will be possible.

  • Download of PERSO1 message type to external system - Urgent

    Hi all,
We are downloading our PP and Service related master data by using TCode CI33 & CI43 (Workcenters, Reason for variance, UoM etc..).
Likewise we need to download personnel data from R3 to external system. The relevant message type is PERSO1.
From the forum we get to know that PU12 can be used for this. But we are not sure how to download using PU12.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Vivek K

thanks for the tip but no luck.
My email works fine with the gmail POP account. Its the Exchange inbox (we actually use Scalix, an Exchange compatible mail server) and the gmail IMAP mailbox that i have this problem with.
My guess is that PRE doesnt like IMAP and MAPI (exchange protocol) for some reason.
This is a big prob, i am going to have to return this phone. My speaker is awful too. No one can hear me.

  • Prevent new PO message type from being applied when changing an existing PO

I have created a new PO message type for EDI (ZED) which is working as required on new PO instances. Applied conditions are Doc Type, POrg and Vendor, with master data set accordingly.
My problem is when I enter an existing PO in ME22N, which has already been output under an NEU message, the system is applying my new ZED message type and I do not what it to do this.
Also note in Fine Tuned Message Control, I have not set ZED to reprint on changes.
    Can anyone help please?
    Kind regards,
    Neil

This is resolved I didn't need a new message type and deleted ZED. All message outputs now controlled under message type NEU, with required access sequences to suit EDI and other communication types i.e. Print/E-Mail

  • IDOC Message type from XI

    Hi,
I'm sending idoc type ORDERS05 from XI. Previously, I had set up message type ORDERS for this IDOC in the partner profile. But then I changed message type to ORDRSP, and process code ORDR for inbound idocs. I've also set message type ORDRSP for IDOC type ORDERS05 in WE82 message type - idoc type linking.
But for some reason, the IDoc is looking for message type ORDERS and not taking message type ORDERSP, and it is erroring in SAP, when I view the status of the IDoc it says that EDI Profile ORDERS Message type was not found.
So my question is - is this message type for an idoc type to be used passed somewhere from XI, do I have to make a change in XI side, or SAP side.

    Hi,
I did all these changes, in the IDOC mapping in XI and also selected the option to select control record from payload in the idoc adapter. The messge in SXMB_MONI, I can see that EDI_DC40 has mestyp ORDRSP, but when I see SAP we02 IDOC transaction, it says that message type is ORDERS. Don't know why this is still happening? Any other option needs to be checked guys?

    Vijay

  • How to trigger EDI output type by logical system

    Hi,
I am trying to propose a delivery output on delivery document based on logical system.
I have maintained partner profile by logical system. In the partner profile, i have given the delivery output type and the process code.
I have also maintained condition records for the delivery output.
I would like the system to propose the delivery output not by ship to party or sold to party but by the logical system.
Because i do not want to maintain 3000 customers in the partner profiles, instead trigger the output by logical system.
Please let me know, if anyone has gone thru this situation and resolved.
    Thank you in advance.
    -Naga

    Hi,
First thing you should make sure that, when you create the output type , partner function should have an entry for EDI - LS combination.
Secondly , make sure you have option for EDI transmission on the output type (medium 6).
Third, when you create partner profile for LS, make sure you give partner function as LS, even though SAP gives warning that its not required.
Last but not least, i didnt create any distribution model , because when i created distribution model and generate partner profile, system was not generating the profile properly.
I am not sure, whatever i did was right, but its working for me.

  • Condition types from SRM system t backened system

    Hi,
We are using SRM 7.0, we have decided to go ahead with the pricing proceedure and the condition types which are there in ECC the same should be replicated to SRM.
We have created the same pricing proceedure and the calculation scheema in SRM.
Now my requirement is when i create a PO with the conditions and when i am transfering to ECC the PO should also be with the condition types. It should be a similar PO in ECC.
    Is this can be addressed.

    Hi
I wish to update on this further:
Under Copying rules for Conditions, for Source table 350 (Sales Organization), I am maintaining report "RV15CC03" which is material to material.
I think I need to use something different since I am copying data from Sales Org to Sales Org.
I don't find a suitable program for Sales Org here.
Any ideas on how to go about.
    Thanks
