Message Type - Process orders

Hi Gurus,
What is the message type and Idoc type for the process order? I found the message type LOIPRO for the production order, but didn't found for process order.
My requirement is to send the process order details to a logical system when the process order is created / released or changed.
Thanks

Hi Can any body tell me what process code to use production order create (Message type LOIPRO, Basic type LOIPRO01)? We are trying to use "BAPI". But we are getting errors.
    Thanks

    Hi Soumyadip,
Thank you for you reply. We cann't use this function as it does not have required interface (CLOI_MASTERIDOC_CREATE_LOIPRO) for process code (from Tcode BD67). That to this function is outbound to generate IDOCs, not to read one and create Production Order.
Can you please let me know if have any idea about other functions? I checked  KK5_GET_DATA_FROM_IDOC, which is not valid for this application.
    Thank you very much,

  • IdocType, Message Type & Process code for Payroll Posting

    Hi Gurus,
In My Project, the SAP HCM is Maintained as a separate instance and rest such as FI/CO resides in ECC ERP. Now We need to Interface the HCM Instance with ECC ERP, where FI/CO resides to post Payroll Results. Hence I am writing a Technical Specs for ALE interface between SAP HCM and ECC ERP. • Message CO437, Process order

    Hi Experts,
Where we can change message CO437 from warning to error. I checked in OPJB but did not find. The message is there in SE91 transaction.
In which transaction we can see the message CO347.
Pl help me to change this message.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vikas

    Hi,
This message description looks like this (from t100 table)
EN       CO                     347     Unit of measure & does not support decimal places
Please let us know from which transaction you are gettin this error
Y u wnat to change this in to warning and its a std message which gives information that unit of measure is not allowed for decimal places.
For this you need to maintain number of decimal places in CUNI transaction for that unit.
.If it is from MM01 or MM02 in additional data you need to maintain the fraction in conversion fields.
For example:1 Kg =10.5 Pc,you need to maintain in material master as 10KG=105 pcs
    Hope it helps

  • Incorrect message type in IDOC for Purchase order change

    Hi Gurus.
    Please advise on below.
We have several purchase orders that are configured to trigger IDOC upon change. But accidentally, someone has deactiveted the automatic proposal of EDI message type for these Purchase orders which resulted to not transmitting purchase order change documents automatically.
As a workaround, we have proposed to create EDI message manually during Purchase order change. But upon checking in tcode WE09, message type is ORDERS which is PO create instead if ORDCHG for purchase order change.
Please kindly advice on why it is behaving like this for purchase orders with EDI message previously deactivated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Acel.
    To simulate.
Create PO. go to messages, select EDI message then deactivate permanently. Save PO. Release PO if needed. Change PO. go to messages, EDI is not automatically proposed. create EDI message mamanually. Save PO. Release PO id needed. check tcode WE09, for PO create, no IDOC since it was deactivated permanently. For PO change, IDOC was triggered but with incorrect message type ORDERS instead of ORDCHG.

    Hi Acel,
You will need to check the settings in transaction WE20 - You will be using a Partner Profile to determine the outbound message, either for each vendor or a generic one.
on the outbound parameters, you will need to ensure that ORDCHG is set up as a message type. If not, add it, ensuring that you use the message ORDCHG, the basic type (or extension) that you are using, usually ORDERS05 and make sure that in message control, you have process code ME02 set up. This should enable the correct message type to be determined.

  • Inspection lot of type 04 in "assignment" tab in Process order

    Hai,
How do I make the Inspection Lot that was generated based on 04 Inspection Type in the Process Order - "Assignment" tab?
    Thanks in advance,
    Sonali

    Hai,
Thanks for your reply. I could find the entries for all inspection types under Production order type (for example, PP01) in the config , but could not find entries other than 03 inspection type in PI01 order type (Process Order). Is this standard? How do i get all inspection type entries in Pi01 order type? At least, 04.
Also, if I have both 03 and 04 active for the material, then which inspection lot the system populates in the "assignment" tab?
    Thanks

  • REGARDING PROCESS ORDER CREATION

    Hi All,
While creating the process order for material, system showing the message that "Manual process order cannot be created for this product". But if we try with another user id, i could able to create the order for the same material.
Plz suggest the solution to get rid of this error.
    Thanks
    Arvind S

    Hi,
The message "Manual process order cannot be created for this product" clearly indicates that the user is not authorized for Manual process order creation by COR1 transaction for this material and may be this material is planned through MRP or SOP etc. and in critical or certain situations manual process order creation is allowed to another user/user id for the same material ( type of materials/material code).
Some time organizations put such restrictions through enhancements. You can search the exact reason or logic of restriction by the help of ABAP consultant.

  • IDOC Message type from XI

    Hi,
I'm sending idoc type ORDERS05 from XI. Previously, I had set up message type ORDERS for this IDOC in the partner profile. But then I changed message type to ORDRSP, and process code ORDR for inbound idocs. I've also set message type ORDRSP for IDOC type ORDERS05 in WE82 message type - idoc type linking.
But for some reason, the IDoc is looking for message type ORDERS and not taking message type ORDERSP, and it is erroring in SAP, when I view the status of the IDoc it says that EDI Profile ORDERS Message type was not found.
So my question is - is this message type for an idoc type to be used passed somewhere from XI, do I have to make a change in XI side, or SAP side.

    Hi,
I did all these changes, in the IDOC mapping in XI and also selected the option to select control record from payload in the idoc adapter. The messge in SXMB_MONI, I can see that EDI_DC40 has mestyp ORDRSP, but when I see SAP we02 IDOC transaction, it says that message type is ORDERS. Don't know why this is still happening? Any other option needs to be checked guys?
    Regards,
    Vijay

  • Process order create

    Hi Experts,
    How to achieve follow.
User should get error message while create process order if there is no price in material master of FG material so he can't create order. Now he gets error message while GR for process order.

    Dear,
Using USER STATUS you can restrict the release  of process order if there is Error in cost calculation.
Restrict release in case there is CSER status
    1.You need to define a status profile in BS02 ( Example ZP00001)
    2. Assign the status profile to object type Process order
    3. Then click the user status .
4.Enter the user status as CSER.Tick the initial status indicator.
    5. Double click the CSER ,then go to create mode.
    6. Select the business transaction Release
    7. Against release transaction choose forbid radio button and select the set function.
    7. Save and assign the status profile to order type in CORN

  • Change pointer on reduced message (not standard-reducible message type)

    Hello all,
I want to dedicate change pointers creation about classification.
CLFMAS idoc is not reducible in the standard.
With BD60, I modify the standard message type in order it to be reducible.
I can have created a reduced message type ZCLFMAS and I have activated change pointers on it.
When I modify a material classification, CLFMAS CP is created but not ZCLFMAS one.
Do you have a idea about the missing configuration ???
    Thanks a lot

    Hi,
    >>>In this interface, we have to send only changed and newly created Employees to Legacy system. For this we are using change pointers which will capture all the changes.
No standard idoc is available which can suffice our requiremen; so we have created a custom IDoc and enabled change pointers on it.
    what about HRMD_ABA ?
standard idoc for sending employees from SAP ?
everything is in standard with it

  • Multiple message types for an idoc type

    Hi all,
I created one custom idoc type with six segments. I heard that one idoc type can have any number of message types
if it is so pls tell me how to assign these two message types for my idoc .
i want to create multiple message types because i want to send same idoc type to diff legacy systems.
My requirement is message type one is only for first three segments and message type two is for another three segments .
The outbound program 1 for mess type 1 should fill fill the data for only first three segments and second outbound program corresponding to mess type 2 should fill the data for last three segments
how should i design for my requirement. suppose if the idoc has two message types then it has two outbound programs?

    Hi Kunal,
Below are my thoughts from a design perspective,
My requirement is message type one is only for first three segments and message type two is for another three segments .
The outbound program 1 for mess type 1 should fill fill the data for only first three segments and second outbound program corresponding to mess type 2 should fill the data for last three segments
Before you look upon the no. of message types you need, i guess you need to look at the business requirement. Per your requirement you want to send send two sub sets of data. The first subset in the first 3 segments and other three segments for the second subset of data.
Is the structure of the first subset of data similar to the second subset If not, better to create two IDOC Types. If they are similar, then create one IDOC Type with three segments and have two message types for each subset of data.
For Ex: ORDERS05 is the IDOC type for Orders, this IDOC type provides capability to carry data related to any type of orders
but the action on the data is facilitated by the message type like ORDERS for create, ORDCHG for change, ORDRSP for Order response etc.
    OR
Are these two subsets of data related to each other, if yes understand the relation? If not related at all then you might be better of creating two separate IDOC Types.
Like in the above example A purchase order is related to a sales order so you can use the same IDOC type, but in case of a order response and ASN that data sent is different and hence you will need different IDOC types (even though a SO is related to a DN).
how should i design for my requirement. suppose if the idoc has two message types then it has two outbound programs?
The above again depends on the how tightly/loosely coupled are the data sets, you can have just one program and have a simple case statement on the message types or have two different programs.
You will also have to consider points like, if any of the subsets is more prone to more change in terms of the structure and associated business logic. If yes, then you might want to keep the programs separate to reduce work on regression testing etc.
I am sure you will receive more inputs from the experts on the forum and the list of points to look for will get longer , so understand the requirement, dependencies and if you have any specific questions you could post it on the forum.

    Chen
