Message VL150 only & of material & available

HI
When i create order say for 50 qty for the material Test123, when stock is avbl only 25 at the time of delivery creation system gives a log Message VL150 only Test123 of material 25 available.
Can some one pl explain me from which program system is picking up this message?
Its happening only for few order types for other order types program is not throwing this message i mean system allwoing me to create delivery for complete qty even though when stock is there for few qty only.

Defining Incompletion Procedure is OVA2 and you are assigning this incompletion procedure to your sale order type in VUA2. So go to VUA2 and compare with other document types.

I am trying to create a delivery for a standard order. Material type is Trading goods.
We have stock in the plant and storage location. Checked using MMBE.
We have created a copy of the std order OR for the spare parts ZSP.And ZLF for the ZSP. When i create a sales order and try to do delivery, i get the error, stating "Only 0 material available". Would any one know what is missing here?

Hi Susan,
Pl check the Storage location in your sales order, this may be different from the storage location of stock you maintained.
Maintain Storage Location for the plant in Item Data -> Shipping tab.
Check you maintained the stock for that same stor. Loc.
Coz I also got the same error, then again I maintained some more stock in the other storage location, then the problem is gone.

VL 150 Message - only 0 qty available of material XYZ

While creating a replenishment delivery from a STO I am getting this message saying only 0 qty available of material XYZ. Although there is enough stock both in MMBE and MD04. This delivery should be immediately confirmed but not sure whats the issue. Has this anything to do with ATP settings. This delivery number does show up in MD04 and is confirmed.
Any help is appreciated

This is definitely related to ATP check. Please run T Code CO06 for the back order processing and check for the Cumulative ATP quantity column as on date. If the stock in that column is '0' then the mentioned error message will be displayed.
If there are any soft allocations done for the stock then those stock won't be considered for your Deliveries based on the settings made in OVZ9 (Scope for Availability Check Control).
You can then reallocate the stock for which the confirmation is done but is not scheduled for delivery so that the current outbound will get the necessary stock.
The MMBE screen does not reflect the stock which can be allocated but only the stock which is present in the Storage location. Always check for the column Scheduled for Delivery while checking for the available stock.

Delivery cannot be created (only 0 qty of material available )

Hello All,
I have created a sales order for material A on plant B for one qty. The delivery date is 29.12.10 but the system has confirmed the schedule line with a delivery date of 3.1.11. The material availibilty date is 28.12.10.
But when I create the delivery, the system gives message, "Delivery cannot be created (only 0 qty of material available )".
I have checked MMBE and CO09 , there is a stock of qty 2 for material A for plant B. Also there is no other sales order consuming the stock in CO09 for material A in plant B.
The schedule line catergory is CN(not relevant for MRP) in sales order and that is why I cannot see sales order requirement in Md04/Co09. But in any case since the stock is available, the system confirmed the schedule line for 3.1.11 in sales order as said above.
While creating delivery, we are giving a delivery date of 28.12.10 (equal to material availibity date ). I have not checked the availibilty check group but even if checking group= no check, still I think ,the system will confirm schedule line since stock is available and it has confirmed stock in sales order as said above
But still we cannot create delivery and receives the error, "Delivery cannot be created (only 0 qty of material available )"

Hi Pamela,
It seems that material A is not available in plant B on 28.12.2010 even if the stock is shown as 2 qty in MMBE
Please go to MMBE place the cursor on storage location and the check the Warehouse stock for that material.
It may be that material qty 2 which is currently shown in stock overview is lying in interim storage type 916 against some goods movement (601) issued against some other sales order.
Also check whether negative stock are allowed in that storage type. In your case , I think they are not allowed.

Issue in STO process-"only 0 MT of material available".

Hi All,
I am facing this issue during STO processing using mvt scenario 15 & 16. Let say that i have 5Mt of material stock left at plant A(dispatch plant). When create the load ticket(mvt-15) for the same qty , the ticket is created successfully. Now when i do the unloading ticket(with mvmt 16) the delivery doc gets created with the following error message-"only 0 MT of material available".
I have checked the stock, and the stock is available for at the dispatch plant. Am i missing some configuration settings ?

I have posted enough stock for a material , but when i try to deliver , the system prompts. Only 0 quantity of material available.

Though you posted stock and raised the sales order , pls check when is the mat. availale date. If the confirmed quantity is zero which means you should first check the system calculated mat. availabily date .
In VA01 (sales order) click on "Procurement Tab" check the Mat.Av.Dt for the line item. In the same row check if there is any route determined where it shows the Loading date.
Check in VOV8 what are the lead time in days.
System calculates ATP quantity by taking Warehouse stock plus planned receipts minus Planned issues. ATP quantity = Warehouse stock + planned receipts – Planned issues.
Planned receipts: Planned orders, Production orders, Purchase requisitions, Purchase orders, Stock in transfer, Stock in transit, Stock at inspection, etc.
Planned issues: Sales orders, Deliveries, etc. (Check if any open orders are there or the material)

Only 0 EA of material available ( Strange Situation)

I have two Materials
Available Stock is Material A(QTY 10) and Material B(QTY10).
Now i have created sales order of each material with 1 qty.
E.G
Material A qty 1
Material B qty 2
i have saved the document and then i have created delivery successfully.
Now i have repeated the same step created sales order with Material A and Material B with 1 Quantities each now this time in delivery i deleted Material B and save the delivery document
then i changed the delivery document(VL02N) and again add the Material B which i have deleted but i get this error "Only 0 EA of material available" although i have enough stock. I am using item requirement 202 Order w.indep.item

I have deleted MAT B this time and saved the del doc, now I realized that I have to add Mat B in same Delivery DOC again
Material A qty 1 plant 1000 storage 2000
Material B qty 1 plant 1000 storage 2000 ---> when I try to add the same material I got error.

CK55 - Mass Costing - Sales Documents + Material Avail. Date

could anybody explain me, why in the CK55 the Material Avail. Date from VBAK-FMBDAT (header level) is used within the selection screen?
Sales orders are calculated on position level, and there can be various Material Avail. Dates on positions, can't they?
According this message: Re: Material Availability date issue , "standard SAp does not allow the VBAK-FMBDAT field to get updated in the change mode (ie VA02). It allows VBAK-FMBDAT to get updated only in create mode (ie VA01)"....so another minus for this field.

Check material availability and goods issue with different BOM no

dear expert:
please find the below scenerio
1. finished goods contain finished garments which contain washed garments accordingly>sewing garments>print panel>cut panel>fabric
2. before going production we need to check all the component materials as well as their components are available or not.
3. so our idea is we will create one BOM no 7 which will contain all components under finished goods. and we need to check material availablity with this BOM no
4. successively we will split the BOM into different group and assign them under different components as applicable in BOM no 1 which we wants to use while issue.
please suggest whether it is possible and if yes then how can i do this.

Requirement: System issue Warning / Error message in case of movement quantity is more than available quantity - safety stock quantity while making goods movements.
This is actual requirement - Ex. Material un-res stock = 10 pcs and material master safety stock set as 5 pcs. So, if any reservation, goods issue, transfer postings done with quantity 7 pcs - system issue message as ' on date xxxxx only 5 pcs available' (i.e 10 available - 5 safety = remaining 5 relevant for movement).
For this Dynamic availability check created with checking rule and assing rule with trasaction OVZ9 and OMB1 similar for Reservations.
Make the message to be shown either Warning or Error and transaction types also assign the rule.
BUT do suggest to do regression test cross functionality wise whether any where this message breaking background operations like - auto reservation from production , sales order etc.

Material availability on order creation

Hi Experts,
                In OPJK for availability check during creation under "material availabilty" tab i have maintained checking rule PP, collect. conversion 3 (no creation if material missing) and checked box "check availability while saving".
                             For availability check during release under "material availabilty" tab i have maintained checking rule 01 and release material 1 (user decides if parts are missing) and checked no other box.
                 But on order creation, inspite of material shortage scheduling is taking place. Only on trying to release material shortage is being shown. How to ensure that during creation itself user gets the option to decide if order is to be created in spite of shortage ?

I have maintained following settings in the system, system gives a information Message during order creation and system is rejecting the order release because of the missing parts.
1: Availability Check during order creation:
    No check - unselected.
    material availability during order save - checked
    checking rule - (anyone) PP
    Check type - atp
    collective conversion - (any)
2: Availability check during order release:
    No Check - unselected
    Status check - unselected
    material availability during order save - checked
    Checking rule - (anyone) 01
    Check type - atp
    Release material - no release if parts missing
   With this settings you should get the warning message " Order has missing parts" (CO292)
This is just a information message
   If you try to release the order, it will get rejected because of the missing parts ( check the logs, again system will show the missing parts as information message only (CO281))
It is possible to save the order. If you want to check the missing parts click on the materials button to see the missing parts list.

On the 01/30/2007, only 0 EA available - Tcode MB21

Hi,
When i try to create a reservation for a material, im getting a warning message like
"On the 01/30/2007, only 0 EA available"
But stock overview gives still stock remaining. (Created reservation for say 50000, stock remaining was 90000). The safety stock has been set to 100,000.
Is there a way to remove this warning message? and have message only when stock really goes below zero.

The system is behaving same as per your requirement. It checks some of the following parameters for Goods receipt and Goods issue.
Pur Order,
Pur Requisition
Dependent Requirement
Reservation
Sales Requirement
Deliveries
Ship Notification
Dependent reservation
Release order Requirement
Planned orders
Production orders
The best way is check out the the configuration in OMB1 (Availability Check for reservation) in the following steps
1. "Transaction code" check which Checking rule is assinged for MB21
2. "Define Checking Tule" check what are the parameters included for avaibility check.

Consignment Pick up VL02n message VL150

Hello, we have been watching threads regarding Schedule Line Category F1 for Consignment Pick Up returns movement type 632.
We have changed config VOV6 for F1 to include Movement Type 655 to allow stock posting directly to Q stock.
The tests we performed in our development client worked well. 655 movement type brought stock from our Customer directly into Q stock within our plant.
In our "Production live copy" we receive message VL150 at time of PGR. The transaction fails.
We reviewed VL21, and there are no other deliveries competing for this material.
We are running ECC6 with latest support packs.
Comparison of PRD and DEV client config, along with masterdata is identical.
Any insight would be greatly appretiated.

In VOV6 for Schedule line category F1, 655 movement type consignment pick up, I see in "transaction flow" the Availability V_TVEP box is selected.
Process works well in our development client (no MRP activity)
Process does not work at all in PRD client (allot of MRP activity)
Dear SAP guru's : Should Avalability check box be de-selected for Returns ?
I recognize that Sched. Line Category DN Returns does not have this box ticked.
Please advise of your thoughts.

CNS0 - Material availability check

Hi Experts,
Now, we have some problem for material availability check.
For example :
Stock : 10 pce
1. we create outbound delivery for 6 pce for Network / Activity : A / A000
2. we create outbound delivery for 4 pce for Network / Activity : B / B000
3. Now we create outbound delivery for 5 pce for Network / Activity : C / C000 , what we expected is there is an error message to tell us " only 0 PCE of material XX available " , but now, there is no message, outbound can be generate without any message.
Could you pls help me to know where might be problem ? where I should check ?

Messages folder only shows e-mails not SMS messages.

Hi I have just changed from a pearl to a Curve 8900 and I am having a little trouble in getting the same functuionality.
My messages folder only shows the e-mails I have sent and received and not the SMS or MMS messages that I have sent and received. This means that when I receive a SMS/MMS I have to go into the main Blackberry screen and scroll to the 'SMS And MMS' icon but I feel that I should be able to access sent/received SMS messages from the 'Messages' icon on the home screen. I can create SMS messages from the 'Messages' icon but they don't stay there after they have been sent.
I may have explained this rather poorly but any help would be aprreciated. The only thing I have done to try a fix this is pull the battery but to no avail.

On the Blackberry go to the main message queue, menu, options, general options.
Scroll to SMS and Email in boxes, select combined. Now SMS will show up in the main queue
