Messages are in schedule state in adapter engine

Hi PI Gurus,
In Production system, I have a proxy to JDBC scenario (Using AAE).
From ECC messages are flowing successfully, but when I check the WRB I found no message.
When I checked the Message Monitoring I found, those messages were in schedule state. No logs are also maintained.
Any idea, what is the reason.
This scenerio is working fine in QA and Dev.
Thanks,
Krishna

Hi krishna
Monitor your JDBC communication channel in CC monitoring , if you found any error in CC , then take an action accordingly.
if CC status was gree then check JDBC Adapter Service in NetWeaver Administrator and stop and start it
otherwise can you please check the status of message in sxi_monitor and also check if it is stuck in smq2? Let us know what error you getting in sxmb_moni or the flag of message. As suggested above, check the status of communication channel of JDBC adapter and what errors you getting there if any.

Can any one tell me how to provide RFC authorization to SAPJSF user.

    hi,
that is the reason for your problem
The user entered for LOGON in that does not have the requisite privileges.
Would sugget you contact your basis team and ask them to make the connection going. Then, this problem will be resolved.
To add more, SLDAPI and the rest are used for the connection between your ABAP and JAVA Stack. As, your mapping gets executed in the JAVA stack, during the execution, as this connection failed, so did your process.
Get this onnection up and reunning and it willsolve this issue.

  • Messages goes into scheduled status in adapter engine

    Hi all
we are doing idoc to file scenario with direct mapping. the messages are getting processed in integration engine sucessfully. the messages are getting into scheduled status in the adapter engine even when there is less load in the server.
Thiis specially happening for IDOC to file scenario only.  Any help is highly appreciated
    Thanks

    >
    > the system is quite good at the moment but the some of the messages again into scheduled status like ( 10 out of 1000 messages ) . the system is not performing at 100 % rate since some messages moves to scheduled status.  Is still the performance can be improved in any other ways ?
    >
This is really strange behaviour , If Communictaion channel functioning correctly then all succesfull messages should deliver to Receiver system.
Better to check payload of scheduled messages(if wrong payload obiously it goes schedule status),try to to reprocess them.
I never used XCOPY command,so no comment on that.

  • Messages are in hold in the Adapter Engine

    Hi all,
I am seeing in my adapter engine that all of the messages are in status hold , it is for  a specific business system and interface.
2009-02-10 21:41:30 Success Message successfully put into the queue.
2009-02-10 21:41:31 Success The message was successfully retrieved from the receive queue.
2009-02-10 21:41:31 Success The message status set to HOLD.
    can anyone please help?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi
i ve got the same problem .
I m using the message monitor in order to find the first message in error in this queue and so to be able to free the queue.
My problem is how to detect these holding messages.
As the error is in the Adapter Engine , you cant see it in sxmb_moni transaction
In the message monitoring, you can check it manually.
I need to have an automatic report of 'holding messages".
I try to connect the Adapter engine alert to the ccms. The problem is that autoreaction alert arent possible in this case.
Any body found the means to check directly in the database with sql-based command the status of message ?
    thanks for your help

  • Messages are in HOLD state

    Hi Teresa,
Which SP do you work with?
    note: 813993

status, further processing is not possible in systems

and Support Package 10 for the adapter framework core patch 02."
last time we talked you were on SP4 so
maybe you need OSS to handle this...
    unless you've upgreaded
    BTW
Are you sure it's not EOIO?
if it's EO then the predecessors thing doesn't make sense... wierd

  • Messages are in hold state due to one message at receiver JDBC adapter

    Hello,
I am using a receiver JDBC adapter and trying to send an XML file which has an insert query to insert some data into the database i.e., Oracle 9i.
Here at the receiver side due to one message (  which is in to be delivered state) all other messages are got hold and waiting for long time.
I am getting the exceptions as this,
JDBC Adapter processing failed with Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'FSASMGR.XTBL_KL06_IINQUIRY' (structure 'REC01'): java.sql.SQLException: ORA-12899: value too large for column "FSASMGR"."XTBL_KL06_IINQUIRY"."CASE_TITLE" (actual: 81, maximum: 80)
Exception caught when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'FSASMGR.XTBL_KL01_ISTAFF_MST' (structure 'REC1'):
    java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00001: unique constraint (FSASMGR.XTBL_KL01_ISTAFF_MST) violated
Can anyone help me out in solving this issue.
    THanks,
    Soorya

    hi surya,
jdbc channel tries a request for n number of times(no of rettries),if that request fails it will take up the following requests, its not like it will process a request forever.
to be delivered will be resulting if reciever is down or network between XI and database server is bad.
try to ping databse server from XI host system.
if everything is fine then look at the channel configuration->advanced->no of retries of database transaction on sql server.
just redue the count to 1 and recheck.

  • [VERY URGENT]Messages going in Scheduled State

    Hi Experts,
    PROD ISSUE
All of sudden in PROD scenario all the messages start moving to Scheduled state in message monitoring and the channels have stopped polling . I have checked the dispatcher status in engine status (additional data tab) and find that the maximum thread count is 1.
Is that the issue? also any idea y this issue is happening and what can be checked and done in this case ?
    URGENT HELP NEEDED !!!
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi,
You should check your Inbound or Outbound queue in SMQ1 & SMQ2. The messages are stuck there.
Double click on message & read the error details & resolve the same.
    Check SM58 also for problem.
Also Register & Activate (re-asctivate) your queues in SXMB_ADM --> Manage Queue --> Register Queue & Activate Queue.
If the messages are stuck in queue, First resolve the error in Queue & check the messages.
    Go through this Link

    Hope this help

  • Issue when receiving SOAP message with HTTPS on non-central adapter engine

    Hi,
we have a central XI system (PI 7.1 EHP1 SP03) and a non-central adapter engine (XI 3.0) in the DMZ, both systems on HP-UX.
In the affected configuration scenario, a business partner is sending us IDocs (INVOIC.INVOIC01) over HTTPS with Certificate Authentication and without SOAP Envelope.
The configuration and security settings seem to be correct, because we've already received several messages successfully over this connection. Now, since several weeks no message arrives anymore in our system, while the business partner always gets a HTTP_OK_200 response. So the messages seem to be accepted by our system, but nothing is shown, neither in the MessageMonitoring or CommunicationChannelMonitoring of the Runtime Workbench, nor in the in the traces/logs of the NetweaverAdministrator (trace level = DEBUG for "com.sap.aii.adapter.soap").
I also removed the assigned user in the sender agreement which should cause a HTTP_500_error on sender side, but our business partner still got a "OK_200" notification and we didn't find any information in the trace of our system.
When using TCPGateway to trace the communication, I can see an arriving message and the response, but it's encrypted because of HTTPS.
    1) Did anyone have similiar issues yet?
    2) Are there any further possibilities to check if an incoming message at the SOAP adapter fails?
    3) Which further trace settings can be done, to get most detailed informations about the soap traffic?
    4) Is there a way to decrypt the message of the TCPGateway (e.g. with private key of server)?
I'm looking forward for any helpful hints or information!

    Juergen

  • Messages are in waiting state

    Hi All
    Scenario is: File to IDOC
I have around 20 interfaces running on production. All scenarios are working fine except one scenario.
Science morning File is getting picked up by XI from FTP but when i see in moni all messages are showing in "Scheduled for Outbound Processing" dont know why this thing is happening particularly for one Scenario.
Please suggest me what can be done.
I have already restarted the XI and already checked SMQ1 and SMQ2.
    Regards
    Dheeraj Kumar

    Hi
If the status is "Scheduled for Outbound processing" ,then message has not been processed yet and is still in the queue. Have you checked transaction SM58?
Some times when we execute interface with large volume of
data, then in moni message shows as 'message schedule for out bound processing' because of large volume of data, so many entries will struck in the que( SMQ1 or SMQ2).
u need to release the queues.

  • Messages are in Holding state in AE

    Hi All:
I created one <b>JDBC to JDBC</b> scenario. XI pick data successfully but I am seeing messages are in
    <b>Holding</b> state in Message Monitoring.
I am sure we cannot check the status of the queue's in AE, please let me know if I am not correct.
If anyone faced the same issue/problem please let me know what is the reason behind it and how we can resolve it.
    Thanks in advance.
    Farooq.

    Hi prateek,
    Really the great Blog !!
I tried the same approach...and I found one message with "System Error". I cancelled that message but what I observer that other messages was still
in the Holding state. So what I did I cancelled all the messages that were in
Holding state...and it solved my problem.
Really appreciate for the right answer
    Thanks

  • Messages are in READY state in QUEUE TABLE but in AQ$ QUEUE TABLE messages are in PROCESSED State

    HI All,
We create a brand new oracle multi-consumer queue. We have en-queued the messages into the queue and are processed successfully.
But when we checked the STATE Column  of the messages in the queue table it was showing as "0". But it is showing as "PROCESSED" in the
       AQ$<QUEUE_TABLE> msg_state column.
We are unable to figure out why there is a mismatch. Can any one help us ?
    Regards,
    Hari P.

    Hello,
the column value AQ$<QUEUE_TABLE>.MSG_STATE = 'PROCESSED' corresponds to column value <QUEUE_TABLE>.STATE = 2
(see definition of view AQ$<QUEUE_TABLE for the DECODE statement).
In your case you see a value of STATE = 0 instead of STATE = 2. Is this correct ? The value 0 corresponds to a state "READY" (the delay
is gone and the message is ready for dequeuing).
The AQ documentation says: "After the specified delay, the message is in the READY state and available for dequeuing."
Normally, you cannot see the processed data in your AQ because the enqueued data will be deleted after
successful dequeuing. You wrote that they were processed successfully.
    Kind regards,
    WoG
