Messages from sender being overwritten by another in my inbox- why?

I am missing messages from senders because they are being overwritten by messages from another sender when they get to my inbox. The original sender is listed in the header as "From", but the rest of the info in the header is for the other sender. Both senders are expected (both are newsletters). This happens randomly and has been happening for a couple months. Any ideas on what is happening?
Update: This is continuing to happen as of today ( 19-Nov-2014). One message was downloaded and filtered to one of my local folders correctly, but then it also overwrote another message currently downloaded in my inbox, but left the Thunderbird inbox 'from' and 'subject' fields intact indicating the sender of the message that it overwrote in my inbox. But when I open it, I get the same newsletter that was filtered to the folder (in the same download batch) as the newsletter that opens in my inbox with the sender/subject of the other newsletter. This is very frustrating... I'm considering alternative to Thunderbird.

Hi,
I'm with Russ. This sounds ugly and I've never seen it before. However, there is another interesting thing that happened to someone else in 9.0.4 version recently where the workbook was owned by one owner, shared to another, a modification made to the workbook by the shared to userid. The original workbook accepted the change. It sounds like this was caused by IDENTIFIER issues. Could it be possible, (improbable I think), that the IDENTIFIER on each worksheet is the same? I don't know how this could happen but I bet a million dollars once (that I don't have) that the workbook situation couldn't happen. To check this, right click on each worksheet name and checkout the IDENTIFIER. I also think you should log a SR. It would be nice if you would post the resolution here once one is found.
The workbook issue has been logged as bug 7565438 . (problem identified by stephen lee)
Thanks for sharing an interesting issue!

  • JMS message from one application to the another appl in the same container?

    I have a question.
    Can I send JMS message from one application to the another application in the same container?
    If yes ...can you provide me info.
    I want to know in regards of EJB2.0 and EJB3.0.
    Thanks,
    Rahul

    So the receiver application is a Message Driven Bean, right?
    In your container, do you have a mean to ensure that it is correctly configured to listen the desired destination? Like an administrative console that would show the destinations, the number of pending messages, the number of active consummers...?
    btw what is the destination type? A queue or a topic?

  • Change mail message from sender before forwaring message

    How can I change/adapt the orignal message from sender before replying or forwarding

    In what way, like edit the original message?
    You cannot, from within the native software.
    You'll need a third party application such as ForwardWithEdit to do so, and that can be found in the Fixmo Tools application... for one place.

    Hi all,
    I'm looking for an example for moving messages from a JMS queue to another JMS queue using WLST.
    Do you have an example about that or a piece of code as starting point ?

  • SendAs being overwritten on all mailboxes

    We have had persistent problems getting SendAs to work; we set it up in EMC on a mailbox (delete old SendAs, add a few new ones), all seems OK, then an hour later the SendAs has been overwritten by the old SendAs setting. I've checked and all the mailboxes
    have the same SendAs accounts attached: one domain user (non-admin) and a UUID presumably from a deleted account.
    Any ideas?

    Hi,
    Please refer to the following article:
    http://3cvguy.com/active-directorys-sdprop-process-vs-exchange-send-as-permissions/
    Obviously the “right” way to solve this is to remove a user’s account for the protected groups and create them a supplemental admin account.  It is important to note that even if you remove a users from the protected group the “AdminCount” value will
    NOT change from “1” back to “Null” (which is why users who were removed months ago were still having the issue).  You will have to manually go into ADSIedit and manually change the attribute back to “0”.  So, if you can’t remove the user from the
    protected group in a pinch the one solution I like is to modify the “adminSDHolder” object’s permissions in ADSIedit so the changes propagate to anyone in the protected group.  This will prevent my “send-as” permissions from being overwritten.

  • Plain Text Message from Outlook being converted to RTF thru Gateway

    Hi,
    I have the GW Gateway running in a Proof of Concept environment.
    When GroupWise users send Plain Text format messages thru to Exchange,
    the message is delivered in Rich Text Format.
    HTML format is honoured through the gateway - i.e. HTML format messages
    from GroupWise are delivered in HTML format.
    Is there any way - switches, etc - that we can stop the conversion to
    RTF thru the gateway? My users noticed this during testing when then
    discovered they can edit the RTF message body in Outlook.
    Thanks for your help

    There might be a resolve bug that would effect this positively for you.
    Bug 403443 - Exchange Gateway conversion issue with RTF from Word. and Tid 7001088
    if your code is older then 7-14-08 then it might be worth trying some later code to see if this bug fix helps you.
    There is a Testing build that you can try. There are also several people using this testing code so I am not concerned if you try it and use it.
    The most current version of the gateway can be downloaded at ftp.novell.com/outgoing/groupwise_exch_7.0.1_2008.07.22_us.zip
    good luck!

  • HT204053 how do we stop Messages from sending to 2 phones

    I am having diffuctly trying to figure out why me and my daughter are sharing same message
    I send a text and then it sends to her phone as well and sends back to my phone

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    it can be resolved by making sure you each have different information in settings > messages > send and receive, however you would be much better each having your own iCloud account.

  • When I load email messages from one Thunderbird program to another in the outbox, then I can send them all in one go. I have to re-open each message and send it

    I have two computer terminals. One is connected to internet. THen I have another with an internal network set-up, not connected to internet. Thunderbird installed on both. I download emails on the internet computer, export the messages on a USB stick and import them in my Thunderbird in the other computer. Answer the emails, then export from the outbox and them import to the outbox on my internet computer in Thunderbird. This has worked fine up to now, but since some days I can't send the emails after having imported them in my outbox. I have to reopen each email and send it, and then it goes. But I can't just click send and it sends all one after one. what happens is it processes the email for about a minute and then gives an error message. On each email. What to do?

    The copying is for security reasons, I want to be able to keep email comm on an internal server that can't be accessed through internet.
    The error message I get is: "Sending of message failed.
    The message could not be sent because the connection to SMTP server timed out. Try again or contact your network administrator."
    It worked some days ago so I don't understand what's different now.

  • Subject line "another option" prevents message from sending

    I recently attempted to send a message (in Mail version 3.5) with the subject line "another option", and the message did not send, went to the outbox, and opened again. I assumed my connection was down, but then I tried again with a different subject line and it worked.
    A bit of fiddling demonstrated that all of the following work: ".another option", "another optionasjkdflajdlfk", "another option askfljd", "another option" (2 spaces). In short, it seems that only this specific subject line causes the message to not send.
    This is obviously not a big problem; I ended up simply using a different subject. But I am curious to find out why this is the case.

    The header is being "folded" as described in RFC 2822 section 2.2.3.
    The folding doesn't lose the space if unfolding is done properly.
    Perhaps the recipient mail program isn't handling unfolding properly?
    If so, please report the bug to the owner of that program.
    If you need to work around such a buggy program, you can set the
    System property "mail.mime.foldtext" to "false" to disable all folding
    in JavaMail.

  • Worksheet content being overwritten by another worksheet from same workbook

    Has anyone else experienced this issue in Plus and Viewer.
    On a handful of occasions now I have had the data content part of a worksheet overwritten with that from another worksheet within the same workbook. The title, text area and worksheet descriptions stay the same, but the items selected in my crosstab, the conditions used, calcs used are replaced with those used a different worksheet. The worksheets are all using items from the same folders in the EUL, but each one selects slightly different columns from the others and each has a couple of specific conditions.
    This happened today when I switched from one worksheet to another in Plus, then back to the original sheet. The original sheet data content was overwritten by the content from the worksheet I had switched to!!
    The worksheet is only being accessed via Plus and Viewer, not Desktop and the version is 10.1.2.48.18.

  • How to send message from one project queue to another project queue

    Hi ,
    In my scenarion I have project where y destination is queue viz queTest.
    In the second project my input is JMS queue . where I to point this project input queue is queTest(first project queue).
    Please suggest me on this as I am working first time in Java CAPS
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Bolla,
    If I understand correct all you would need to do is in your connectivity map, publish the data to that queue.
    example high level hierarchy
    prj1Data1
    -Indata1 svc
    -Indata1 topic
    -Indata1Translation svc
    -Outdata1Delivery svc
    -queOutdata1
    prj2Data2
    -Indata2 svc
    -Indata2 topic
    -Indata2Translation svc
    -Indata2Delivery svc
    cmData2Out Indata2Delivery publishes to queOutdata1
    Hope this helps and does not add any additional confustion.

  • How do I stop my iphone from sending my imessages to another iphone on my account?

    When I updated my Iphone 4 to the new iOS 6.1 software I had to do a restore process and everything on my phone got deleted, and when I started texting, I realized that everytime I received an imessage from someone, it was also going to my sisters iphone as well. Because of this she is getting all of my conversations that I am havign with people. And we have the same apple id account. Also, whenever she sends a text to someone that I have previously texted, it says that I actually sent the text instead of her. I was just wondering if anyone knew how to fix it.

    As has been explained countless times already on these forums...your phones are sharing the same AppleIDs.  Craete your own ID and configure your phone to use those services with that ID.  Edit your Messages settings to reflect the correct phone number and ID:  Settings --> Messages --> Send/Receive

  • Fault Message from Sender System to Receiver System

    Hi
    I have a synchronous scenario
    <b>SAP R/3 --> RFC Adapter -> XI -> SOAP Adapter --> Web Service</b>.
    When web service returns successful response, it gets mapped properly to an internal table of RFC. But, when web service returns fault message (as parameters passed to the web service are incorrect), RFC gives dump. Below message is shown in sxmb_moni.
    <i><?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    - <!--  Call Adapter
      -->
    - <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">
      <SAP:Category>XIAdapterFramework</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="MESSAGE">GENERAL</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1 />
      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText>com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: java.io.IOException: invalid content type for SOAP: TEXT/HTML</SAP:AdditionalText>
      <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
      <SAP:Stack />
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error></i>
    <b>{</b> Sometime AdditionalText has different message, depends upon what parameters Sender system is providing <b>}</b>
    Now I would like to provide this message back to SAP RFC. Even if I will create the Fault message type, how exactly I can map this " Exception message " with my fault message type.
    I have checked weblog <a href="/people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2006/11/02/fault-message-types--a-demo-part-1 Message Types - A Demo</a> but this one talks more about proxy & Asynch scenario.
    Can you pls. provide steps with which I can map exceptions message of WS to RFC.
    Best Regards
    - Lalit Chaudhary -

    I got the <RFC>.exception structure from SAP Team.
    And from my side I build the "xsd" file for following generic Error structure -->
    <i><?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    - <!--  Call Adapter
      -->
    - <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">
      <SAP:Category>XIAdapter</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="PARSING">SOAP_EXCEPTION</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1 />
      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText><u>An error message</u></SAP:AdditionalText>
      <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
      <SAP:Stack />
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error></i>
    I import this xsd file ( as External Definitions ) and keep this in the Inbound Interface as Fault Message Type & mapped the contents of it with <i><RFC>.exception</i> structure.
    Now when their is some Application error like Web-Service is down, we are not getting <b>DUMP</b> in SAP R/3 system but I mapped the "AdditionalText" field of xsd file with " <i>Attributes --> V1</i> " of <i><RFC>.exception</i> structure and on SAP R/3 system the field <i>message-V1</i> is empty which suggest nothing is coming in this field.
    Then I even tried to map constant values <i><RFC>.exception</i> structure but in SAP R/3 nothing is coming. Can you suggest how actually SAP developers can capture these values or is their anything I am missing on XI side.
    Best Regards

  • Can't delete or stop a message from sending, then force quit.

    Greetings.
    A boneheaded (ex)friend of mine sent out an email to me and 322 other (cc) recipinets. Previously I had educated him about using BCC but apparently not well enough.
    I replied to the email and inadvertantly hit "Reply ALL"
    The message looked like it was sending, but then I get the message back: The server “smtp.att.yahoo.com” did not recognize the following recipients.
    That's fine, but there is no way I can close that message window with out force quiting the mail app.
    In addition to that problem, every time I launch mail, it tries to send this message, which I can't find to delete it.
    So here is my question, where in my system do the out going messages reside? I just want to delete this. I tried the rebuild option but that did not work.
    Can anyone help?
