Messages logged in Claims Processing
Hi guys
I am implementing HR Benefits module. After completing all the settings in IMG, i enrolled a personnel through SAP Menu "Benefits>Enrollment" (Tx code: HRBEN0001). This is OK.
I then proceed to SAP Menu "Benefits>Claims (Asia)>Enrollment" (Tx code: HRCLM0020). to enroll the option. This is OK too.
Lastly I proceed to approval via SAP Menu "Benefits>Claims (Asia)>Approval" (Tx code: HRCLM0002). After the record is added (status "To be accounted"), I hit warning message as below:
Text for domain fixed value of domain CLM_OVRCL does not exist
Message no. HRBEN00FMODULES138
Can anyone help me on this?
Hi sarika
Thanks for the tips. I found that the cause is in one of the config steps. It's under PM>BN>Plans>Claims>define Claim Variant for Plan.
There are two tabs in this step: One for "Claim rule criterion", another for "Claim limit parameter".
The message is caused as I do not put any option under Miscellaneous Details/Overclaim (Tab "Claim limit parameter". )
However, since this is a warning message, I can proceed by just ignoring it. Is there any way that I can skip the message? It's kinda irritating for client every time they access the function.
Many thanks.

How to display custom error message in Job log for batch processing
Hi All,
I am rexecuting one R/3 report in batch mode and i want to display all the custom error i have handled in job log when its executed from SM36,SM37. The custom error are like 'Delovery/Shipmet doe not exits' or others which we can display in online mode like message e100(ZFI) or any other way and accordingly we can handle the program control like come out of the program ro leave to transaction'Zxxx' or anything. But i want my program to be executed completely and accumulate all the error in job log of batch processing.
Can anyone tell me how can i do so...

BRF+ Message Log & "Rule as Expression"
Hi colleagues,
I am quite new to BRFplus and have two questions:
1) I would like to use a message log action in order to indicate errors. I tried to follow https://wiki.wdf.sap.corp/wiki/display/FDT/Message+Log with method SET_APPLICATION_LOG_OBJECT, but I can't find the class this method belogns to. I also tried modelling a rule & action message log with help of the UI. My question is how can I log messages and where can I find them after the function is beeing processed?
2) In every guide I can read something about rule expressions and even how to create them (e.g. http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/cc/85414842c8470bb19b53038c4b5259/frameset.htm), but in the workbench there is no possibilty of creating rules as expressions but only rules and rulesets (the rule is not part of the "Expression" node).
I hope somebody knows what I mean
Thanks a lot & kind regards,
IlijanaThanks a lot for your response!
Could you tell me why using rules and rulesets is not recommended for 7.01 ? This could be interesting for my bachelor thesis.
Thanks & Kind Regards,
Ilijana -
Cannot publish get error message - log file not being created
When trying to publish a FlashHelp project, I get an error
message window that says "Publishing has been cancelled. Failed to
create file: (project name).log "
When I click okay in the message window, the publishing
process stops. However, if I look in the SSL folder, I see the log
file. It is a text file.
I had this problem in January 09 but it seemed to be an issue
with the password and path in the FTP command window. I fixed it
and it worked fine. However, I haven't published since the end of
January. Now, when I try to publish, it is giving me the same error
message. I checked and reviewed the FTP window fields and they are
fine. But I'm still getting the error message and can't publish.
Why?
I need to get this problem fixed ASAP and ensure that it
doesn't occur again. What's strange is that I've got 3 other
projects and this is the only 1 that gets this error message.Yes, the generation worked. I checked the log file that
worked from the time it worked before and it seems to be the same
as the log file that is generated when I get the error message.
I created a new FlashHelp layout and got the same error
message. What's really weird is there is a log file in the SSL
folder but when you click OK in the error message, it stops the
publish function.
Last time I had to blow away the cpd file as if this was a
corrupt project. But that gets to be painful. As I use templates to
put change dates in the footers of topics and templates get lost
when you blow away the cpd.
Any other thoughts? -
Bulky Message are not getting processed
Hi All,
Recently we have upgraded our XI systems to EHP4.
After upgrade Bulky files are not getting processed into XI system. Small files are getting processed successfully.
Earlier we had faced same issue at that time we have maintained some parameters in transaction RZ10, RZ11, SXMB_ADM-->
Integration Configuration--> HTTP time out parameter.
Same parameters are still there. But now the message is not getting processed in XI when we check into sxi_monitor. Message mapping is also not seems to be a problem as we havnt put any bulky logic over there.
The message is not getting processed ahead of Receiver Grouping . Please find attached log from Performanceheader

Status message shows " Error in Process" in SRM
Hi,
At the time of Confirmation, status message shows " Error in Process " in SRM.
So please suggest the solution & the possible cause for the Error.
Thanks,
NehaPl goto RZ20, SAP Enterprise Buyer monitor--confirmation and open the alerts.
All error logs have to be there. How will you analyse otherwise as to what went wrong?
Have you done the partner profile settings for confirmation? Defined ports in SRM? Are you on classic/extended classic?

Strange lines in messages.log
Hi all,
we have RAC installation with two nodes. On both of them is some strange message in /var/log/messages.log written twice per second. Because of this messages.log is growing in size very fast.
I'm totally confused which process is responsible using sudo and generating such records.

RobertHi Chandra,
unfortunately I can't stop the whole database just because of this "little" problem. And don't even know if it really helps. Now I'm installing the same SW on VMWare server. Hope, that it will help me reproduce this problem and then I can try this patch.
Thank you, however, for your suggestion.

Deleting listing in Messages log after deleting individual text
I'm using an iPhone 6 and iOS 8.0.2. Pretend a contact sends me a text at 6:02 and then again at 8:25. If I delete the individual message from 8:25, but keep the 6:02 message, why does the text stay listed in the messages log as 8:25, and not jump back down in the chronological order to 6:02? When I used IOS 7 on my iphone 5, it would jump back to the last chronological message for the Messages listings. Does this make sense? Help!!
hmm, there might be.
I wanted to deploy Updates next Tuesday to two sites (one local, another via WAN Link). I have a larger package with all the updates for Win 7, Office 2010 and 2013. I replicated that package to the remote site over the WAN Link and got a failure message
that the drives were full.
When I checked the remote DP, there were 15GB free on the main drive. We added another 100GB one and used the "Content Library Transfer Tool" (from the SCCM 2012 R2 Toolkit) to transfer the files. The tool crashed at the end (Stopped Working), but it looks
like it transferred everything. The only thing that wasn't changed was the Registry Entry for the LibraryContent, which I adjusted for the new Drive.
I deleted the SCCMContentLib, SMSPKG$ and SMSSIG$ from the older drive. All this was done with the network cable unplugged, as a condition for this was that there be no activity on the DP during this process.
I then created a test package with only 2 updates that I distributed to the remote site. This worked OK. I removed the content again and then proceeded with triggering the distribution of the big package (Win7&Office). I guess it could be that he is
deleting the former content ebfore distributing it again to the remote site? -
RAC crashed - errors in messages log
2 node RAC. running 1 node config.
OEL 5.
Oracle 11.2.0.2.0
RAC crashed this morning with following errors in ASM log
ORA-27300: OS system dependent operation:semget failed with status: 28
ORA-27301: OS failure message: No space left on device
ORA-27302: failure occurred at: sskgpsemsper
Found blog notes to up the semaphores in the kernel. http://arjudba.blogspot.ie/2008/09/database-startup-fails-with-ora-27302.html
bumped up to the following as per note but didnt fix
from: kernel.sem = 256 32000 100 128
to: kernel.sem = 256 32768 100 228
then tried 258 - didnt work
found another blog note that said to try 288 and that DID work so appears to be a semaphore issue. 2 questions:
1: How can this happen all of a sudden? no changes on box for last 5-6 weeks, nothing else running except RAC.
2. Error in /var/log/messages log file. RAC came down at 10:02, messges in the log file from 10:01, must be related. anyone know what they are? Looks like storage to me.

Why do you think it's a problem with kernel semaphores?
There are 2 other issues that I suggest to look into first:
SCSI layer issued Device Reset (0, 23)
ORA-27301: OS failure message: No space left on device
To me this looks like a hardware problem with your EMC storage
Also please provide exact details about your OS version and system.See the errors in the ASM first of all. A few notes are thrown up when we look for those errors. Upping the semaphores resolved. My task now is to get to root cause.
versions: x86_64 2.6.18-194.el5
While increasing the semaphores resolved, I too think it looks like a problem with the storage as we get the same issue in the messages fil eon both nodes at same time.

If I try to identify any the processes associated with those, theres a PID listed, yet the pid doesnt exist when I try to query it e.g. the last one listed above...

How do we capture the Error Message Log generated by the OWB Process Flow (Execution Results window)? I would like to email this message in the process flow when there is an error.
For this release you cannot capture this. The best thing you can do is email a link to the Runtime Audit Browser.
We are implementing this in the new release.

CK40N : no message log update after =cksu
Hi costing experts,
In the costing run statistics there are errors for the marking step, which I correct by entering =cksu according to SAP note 542790.
However, the message log for the marking step is not updated. It is hard to find which are the remaining messages in the overall message log, because there are some 400 messages in total and only 50 are still relevant according to the refreshed statistics.
Does anyone have any idea's about what can be done to update the message log?
Thanks,
Caroline.I got below error in the ST22 dump....
"Database error text........: "ORA-00060: deadlock detected while waiting for
resource"
Internal call code.........: "[RSQL/INSR//BIC/FZXX_C02 ]"
I was searching for OSS notes associated with following keywords and note able to find any notes related my support pack level we are in SP13 (SAPKW70013)
"DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR" "CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB" "WRITE_ICFACT"
Any help will be greatly appreciated...
Thanks,

Message log not correctly associated with contact
I'm having an issue where I cannot text message a particular contact or phone number. A series of steps I took seems to have exposed a glitch where the message log will not corrrectly associate itself to a newly created contact. So now when I push the SMS button on the new contact, nothing happens. Also when I manually start a new text message and add the contact to the text message and press send, the message clears from the text box and nothing else happens.
Here is how you reproduce the error:
1. I called a number and quickly hung up, just as you would do to log a number for saving later.
2. From the call log, I clicked on the SMS button to send a text message.
3. I sent a text message.
4. From the text message log, I clicked on the number at the top to save it to contacts.
5. I saved a new contact with the number.
6. If you go back to the message log, you should notice that the message log header does not update with the new contact's name. Instead it will still show the number.
7. Finally, I went to the test contact and pressed the SMS button and nothing happens.
After you add the contact like I did, it seems that the contact does not correct connect itself with the message log.
After step 5, go to the message log and click on the message log header which should still be the number. When you do this, you would think it would open up the new test contact info card, but instead it opens up a new contact card, as if the number is not saved to a contact yet. It gives me the option to Add To Contacts at the bottom.I have the same issue. I started not being able to text only one person. I go to the contact and click on the "SMS" button and it doesn nothing. If I try to send the message directly to the number it just doesn't do anything, the message leaves the text box, but doens't show up in the conversation window. I'm not exactly sure what I did to do this, but I think it's because I added the same contact twice. Once from my incoming calls, and once from my outgoing texts. I've tried deleting all references to this number (ie the contact info, incoming/outoing calls and texts) but nothing has worked. It must be the corrupt contact thing as well.
