Messages opening blank and getting deleted

hi, i have iPhone 4s. I resently upgraded its OS to iOS 6.
After this upgrade, all the system generated messages in my phone (such as messages from mobile phone operator, flight details, movie details, credit card companies etc.) are opening blank and when i come back to the messages home screen, the message is no longer there.
Is this a bug or some additional setting that i am required to do.

I have a very similar issue after upgrading to iOS6.
I can see a preview (2 lines) of all the messages that existed before the upgrade, in Messages app. However, as soon as I open it, the contents disappear. When I go back to message list the message that I tried to open moves all the way down and preview also disappears.
I am able to see the preview only after manually closing the Messages app from springboard and then reopening the app.
Weird issue. The messages that disappear are the one's adverts and info messages mostly from banks, fund houses, credit cards etc. Some of them are really important. hope Apple takes notice.

    Is Mail still "spinning"?  If it's been doing that for a while, I'd kill it, using either Activity Monitor or the OS X application picker.  Then relaunch Mail and see what happens.
    Two "by the ways":
    1) Your system details mention an PPC iMac.  Since a non-Intel Mac can't run OS X 10.6, you seem to have another Mac.  You might want to consider updating your system details.
    2) You seem to have been misled by the poor labeling of the message composition fields on this forum into trying to enter your entire post into the "subject" field.  In the future, just enter a summary of your post there and the main text into the field below it.

  • Message log is not getting deleted in WEBUI (BADI ORDER_SAVE)

    Hi,
    I am displaying an error message based on certain conditions in BADI: ORDER_SAVE (CHECK_BEFORE_SAVE). On getting error, I am correcting that error.
    Using CRM_MESSAGE_DELETE, I am deleting error message before displaying new error message. However, my error log is not going away. It is still displaying in the log in WEBUI.
    Could you please help me out, how can I delete error message, and error log from WEBUI.

    I  have the same question as you .
       I  have use folleing code to display message in web ui:
          if (conditions).
          CV_OWN_MESSAGE = 'X'.
          MESSAGE '商机描述已经存在，请修改后再保存！' type 'E' RAISING DO_NOT_SAVE .
        endif.
    but when i have edit the description , the Message log is not getting deleted in WEBUI .
    who can tell me , thanks for all your help !

  • Installed iTunes and try opening it and get an error message

    I have installed iTunes twice and uninstalled it aswell. I go to open it and it gives me an error message that the file is in a locked folder or that I do not have permission to open the file. What could this be? I havent been able to ue iTunes since I updated my iPhone to iOS 7. Really feeling like I made a mistake doing that.

  • Open TRs not getting deleted after TECO production order

    Hi,
    We're having an issue.  We're using WMPP interface to supply the production line for the production orders.  The auto TRs are generated when the production orders are released. 
    After TECO the production orders, the open TRs are not getting deleted automatically.
    Could anyone know if these TRs get deleted automatically when we do the TECO production order?
    If yes, do we have any restriction or condition based on this, the TRs get deleted?
    Please explain.

    Thank you for your reply.  It does not help me.
    The auto TR creation is happening now as required.  No issue on this.
    When you do the TECO, it also cancels the TRs.  I tested this also. 
    There're some scenario this open TRs cancellation is not happening.  I do not know when these open TRs are not cancelled.  If you know answer for this, please let me know.

  • The iphone is just about the dumbest thing invented. You cant get any messages back that accidently get deleted.

    My lock button is stuck. So i cant lock the screen when im not using it. I dont know how but it was in  my pocket and must have clicked my messages and deleted ALL of my messages between me and my boyfriend. I had messages from before we were even dating. My phone deleted all of my memories. Now i cant get them back. It may not seem like a big deal to you but it is to me.

    Huh?  If you set your phone to auto-lock, it will lock by itself.
    Settings > General > Auto-Lock > choose timing

    If you have been backing up your phone, as instructed and as is considered routine maintenance for all computing devices, your data would not be lost.

If the message being deleted was the last message then the message immediately above this message opens even if its already been read. I don't want any message to open unless I specifically click on it. How do I set this up?

    Try a reset: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.

  • Messages icon indicates that there is an unopened message but when i go into it the message is blank and no option to delete it. Any ideas how i can get rid of this and stop it from opening up in the blank message each time i open my messages?

    Hard restart..  While the phone is powered in, hold the power and home button.   Hold them down and keep them held down.  the phone will eventually shut itself off and reopen.  keep held down till you see the appl elogo, then release.  This will not delete anything off your phone, it will just force all apps to stop their current process.  If you just turn the phone on and off, it will just pick up where it left off.  Good luck
