Messages quitting in iPhone 5
When I attempt to send SMSes to certain contacts in my new iPhone 5, the messages freeze and then quit (going back to homescreen). Any idea as to what the issue might be?

Just to be clear, this is not always the best solution. Depending on how the E-Mail accounts are set up, this could literally delete every single E-Mail in your account, on the server, desktops, laptops, everywhere. Gone. Forever.
I am aware this may be an inconvenient way to delete mail, but it's better than a generic "Delete All" which would cause soooo many more problem for individuals.

I connected it to iTunes as my phone suggested and i still could not activate it. This is quite frustrating as this does not allow me to use my cell phone for anything and I need it for many things.
It would have saved to your camera roll. Connect the phone to your Air via a USB cable and then run Image Capture which is located either in your Utilities folder or Other folder, depending on what version of Mac OS X your are running. You will then see all the photos and videos stored on your iPhone and can then download them.

This is my first timeo n Apple Support. Suddenly this morning I am unable to send messages through my iPhone. I can send messages to one number, but all the other numbers I am sending to I receive an error message. Also, I can receive messages from the one number I can send to, but am unable to receive messages from any other number. What do I do to fix this?

No he has not turned iMessage off, infact when he sends me a message thru iMessage it says 'delivered'. I am at my wits end nd I don't know what to do anymore. -
Is there any way to copy email messages from an iPhone to a computer (pc or mac)?
My pc with my mail database was formatted and the mails lost. I have about 1000 mails on my iPhone that I desperately want to transfer back to my desktop.
My mail was on a POP server and I have no copies anywhere other than on the iphone.
I am not concerned about future email messages - my question is about transferring existing messages from the iphone to a computer.

I just got a new iPad air and also own an iPhone 5. I'm receiving most of my text messages on the iPhone, but some are now also showing up on my iPad. I don't want them on my iPad, any suggestions on how to get them to stop showing up n my iPad?
Go to settings>messages>send and receive at>you can be reached by iMessages at> Uncheck your phone number and you can select your Apple ID emal address if you want to use that for messages.

I love checking my emails on my iPhone because of the convenience, but every time I delete a message on my iPhone, the message stays in my Hotmail inbox, and the next time I use my laptop, I have to delete tons of old messages. Is there anyway to make it so that when you delete messages via iPhone, they are deleted in your Hotmail inbox? Any help would be appreciated!

At the bottom of the page Settings > Messages you should have a section headed "SMS/MMS" Turn MMS messaging on then you can turn group message on.

If you are signed into your current iCloud ID you shouldn't be prompted for the old ID unless there is another service still signed into it. Check the ID in iMessage (Settings>Messages>Send & Receive), FaceTime (Settings>FaceTime), Game Center (Settings>Game Center), the iTunes store (Settings>iTunes & App Store), etc. to make sure you aren't still signed in with the old ID. If you are, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with the new ID.

Regarding text messaging, if I send a message from my iPhone, the reply goes to my ipad, or mini ipad. How can I stop this from happening?
Go to Settings/ Messaging/ Send & Receive on each device to set the contact points to be reached at, and to set the "from" address when you start a new message. It sounds like your iPhone might be sending messages out as one thing (e.g. an iCloud address) but set to not receive replies only to your phone number. Make sure you review settings on each device since you may, or may not, want to have them common.

My wife and I both have iPhone 5s, I can't send text messages to non iPhone people that I use to but iPhone people I can, My wife can send text to non iPhone numbers. I have checked and we both have the same settings. Both of our phones are up to date 7.0.4.
The ability to see and send calendar invites is a function of the calendar you are subscribing to and who owns it. We need more information, like what calendar are you subscribing to? MS Exchange? Google? Mobile Me?

If you saved a backup in iCloud or iTunes, and then restored that backup to a newer device, you would see the messages ... assuming the newer device uses the same telephone number and cellular carrier as the old one did. -
