Messages+ Sending Issues (HTC One M7)

I have been having trouble sending text messages when my WiFi is connected. Usually no trouble when it isn't connected. Message says sending for a long time and sometimes it sends but doesn't say it was sent. What can I do to fix this?

I have 4 bars (sometimes 5) and this is still occurring. I tried restarting the phone numerous times after the update and just plain turning it off and on. I am using the factory text messaging app, and every text I send I get the "converting to MMS" banner. I then have the grayed out message symbol with the clock in the corner for at least 10 minutes. Then I get the red triangle of death !!

i have the htc one m8 through verizon (obviously) my sister has it through sprint. When sending or receiving multiple pictures in a text on my phone they come in as individuals so i have to save or fwd one by one while on hers they come in as a group so they are easily saved all with one click or fwd-ed with one tap. is anyone else having this issue? or does anyone know how to change it?? i've searched through all the setting and played around with them, searched the manual etc but no luck. someone help! its really annoying to go one by one.

Help has arrived! This is certainly an excellent phone and I understand how important it is to share these photos. Through the stock messaging application, each photo can only be sent/received one at a time. Are you using the stock text messaging app or one downloaded from the Google Play Store? Sometimes apps downloaded can allow for multiple pics to be sent and received.

IPhone4s OS6 Upgrade - Message Send Issues

I have Iphone4s and upgraded to os6 and have found an issue with Messages.
Bofore the upgrade I used to send sms messages by going to Messages>New Messsages and select contacts. Now when I when I try this to send from message the message snd fails.
However if I go to Contacts>Select Contact>Send Message to the same contact it works. This only happened after the upgade.
This shows there in no network issues, no problem with the specific contacts but sending an SMS from Messabes is different from sending a Message from Contacts.
Has anyone esle had this problem

I have tried closing down all apps, checking for upgraded, resetting all network settings etc. I have also tried the hard boot. None of the above help. Attached is the message I get when I send via the messages.
However, if I go into Contacts>Select Same Contact and Send Message it works. I have noticed that when you use this message it goes as an imessage.

Nokia messaging send issue

Latest version of Nokia Messaging on N97. Following delvery email failures comes in after send of each email:
500: Failure - sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building

I tried both pop and imap modes. The original mail client works fine.

Ah, glad I found this post. Bit annoying that I can't securely talk to my own mail server what I built when trying to send email, but it works fine when receiving securely from exactly the same machine. Would be nice to be able import the certificate during setup of my email, some Nokia-side Cert management thing.

I have found a number of issues when using Skype on the HTC One M8. If you are playing Music on the device and someone calls you, for about 2 seconds into the ring Skype will make the Music you are playing quiet whilst the Ring Tone takes the higher volume. After this 2 second period the Music will continue to play at the same volume as the Ring Tone is playing at until you either hang up or answer. If you hang up/don't answer the call and continue to play music, after around 2-5 minutes the top speaker on the HTC One will stop working. The only way to fix this is by signing out of Skype and closing the application, then signing back in. The top speaker will not work for ALL applications, so even if you stop playing Music from the applcation you were using and switch to another, the issue will still persist.
Another issue I am having, is trying to send files. Whenever I try to send a file from my device, when the reciptent accepts it my phone will still show "Waiting to accept", but it gets worse. I have only been able to send a file when clicking "Take Picture", otherwise if I try to select a local document or picture to send to a contact I get an error message saying "File must be saved on device" when it clearly is saved on the device, otherwise I would not be able to select it.
I have tried this on multiple HTC One M8 handsets, and have been able to reproduce on all.
Another minor issue, though I believe this to be releated to the background task killing in the M8 software, is that sometimes if I am logged into Skype on my phone (I have the notification enabled on constand) sometimes it will disconnect, and so all messages/calls will not be recieved until I manually open the application. Note that the status in the top left of my notification bar does not change, it shows me as logged in. But when I scroll the bar down and click on Skype to go to the application the application will flash and log me back in and then all my messages will come through at once.
I hope you are able to fix these issues ASAP.

My Skype acts very weird. When in use it would allow about 10 to 15 seconds working " normal " and then it restarts bidding anything that you've been doing until then, can't text, can't call. I've tried removing it, re installed it, rebooting, nothing works. I use my Skype for work, all my customers use Skype, HTC and Skype need to fix this

Since last weekend (3-15-15) I have been unable to send/receive text messages with a friend who has Sprint service. The messages send with no errors on either side, but neither side is receiving the messages. Is anyone else having any similar issues?

The thing is, before the update, I ALWAYS had my wifi on, and I had my mobile data off. Worked flawlessly until the update.

I am getting the following error message (in the BizTalk administration console), on my Production servers, upon testing one of my BizTalk Interfaces, deployed on the same :-
A message going to a one-way send port is being suspended. Reason: The send port configuration corresponding to the message was not found.
This usually happens when a send port was deleted while it still had some active messages.
The same application is working fine on the Test environment.

I have checked, both the Host Instances are running properly, on the same environment.
I am also able to connect to the SQL database (Msgbox) server, that the BizTalk servers are pointing to.

This very well could be an SSO issue. Are you getting any SSO errors in the event log? Intermittent SSO issues could cause the
inconsistent results you are seeing.
Of course, as the port configuration is stored in the SSODB, if access to this database is restricted port configuration cannot be accessed
and so the message could not be delivered.

I'm using an iPhone 4. I used to be able to send more than one picture at a time to another iPhone. Now I get messages that it cannot be delivered. What's going on?

While on vacation in Canada in July I started having trouble sending more than one pix at a time to other users. I don't recall having this problem before. Is there a limit on the number of pictures you can send via text? I wonder if I messed up some settings while I was in Canada. I had things set so that I could not receive phone calls so I wouldn't get charged. Could I have messed up text / multimedia settings as well?

We want your phone working just as well now as it did before your trip, sngbrd9. Are you trying to send the pictures to other Apple users using iMessage or are they being sent through MMS/picture messaging? Are you able to send pictures one at a time to those same contacts without an error? Did you change any settings in your camera to have HDR now instead of a slightly lower resolution with a smaller file size?

Yes, I know the photos stored on the device... But which app are you accessing the photos with? Which app do you want to be able to highlight more than one pic at a time in?
There are literally thosands of apps that access the iOS Photo Library - which one(s) are you using?

How do I get my text messages from my android fascinate to my htc one m8 windows phone....???

just purchased and received the new htc one...was using a samsung galaxy s for a few months before my contract ran out...my original nokia lumia 920 died and I reactivated the galaxy....now I have the text messages from october and earlier but I can't seem to get the 3 months of text messages that are on the android.....there is no cloud or transfer app (by verizon) for the new phone...only the old galaxy has the apps...go figure, I could get the app for my old phone but not the new phone...lol

Transfer My Data doesn't work to grab them from your Android phone? That bites... I thought that was a fairly new app for Windows Phone that was supposed to make it easier. I had to take old texts and paste them into Word to upgrade from Windows 7.8 to Windows 8. Tedious, but when you gotta save em... Shoot, there was one conversation that was so long, I just broke out the video camera and started scrolling them on the phone so I could get them later. Yea, I was that intent on getting them.

routers that are plugged into a 550VA CyberPower surge protector. I often receive these insufficient USB power for devices messages a dozen times even when I do not have devices like camera, Ipad, Ipod, and Tascam digital audio recorder plugged in. Is there a way to troubleshoot these USB routers or should I consider that one of the routers may be defective and replace them?

HTC One M8 call history timestamp issue

I have waited patiently for several months through a couple firmware updates, expecting to see this issue addressed. However, it seems to have received very little attention or recognition.
Using the stock phone app, any calls prior to the current day do not display the timestamp. Only calls made or received during the current day display the time of the call. Any calls received/made prior to the current day only display the date. Any calls placed yesterday only display simply "yesterday." Long-pressing any entries without a timestamp to select "view history" only displays the call "duration."
A few friends have the same phone on another carrier and their devices display the name, phone number, date and timestamp in the "Call History" and "Phone" logs, even without the need to long press and "View History." They are also using the same stock Phone application. It is quite frustrating to not see the timestamps of missed calls.
The few references online regarding this issue seem to have concluded this is a carrier programming issue, as those on Verizon have the same issue and those on another carrier do not.
Does anyone using a Verizon HTC One M8 not have this issue using the stock Phone app?
Does anyone know of a fix or workaround to address this without installing 3rd-party apps?
Is Verizon planning to address this issue? Have they already?
Whom shall I contact to raise this issue?
