Messages sending when offline.

Question

Okay so I have a contact on skype who I talk to a lot and I am close to but sometimes when it says they are offline and I send them a message it goes through instantly no spinning circle appears at all it just goes straight through as delivered.
I know a lot of people are going to say this means they are appearing invisible because then my message would go through if it says they are offline but this happens constantly like every time I send a message and they are not online. 
I also did a test to check and on my second account sent a message to my main account even though that was definetly not signed into yet the same thing happened and it went straight through then popped up when I signed in even though the other account was now not logged into.
I also sent a message to my brothers skype who I know for sure was offline and same thing happened it went straight through and then popped up when he signed in when I was offline.
So I am confused because my messages seem to be instantly sending when someone is offline , could this mean it is a glitch?

Yes it is important especially if the another person chat always with the term invisible. Some people do that for to avoid a lot of request if appear online. What you recommend is a double work. If it is not reliable or not important to know if a message went through via Skype because it appears in general "delivered" even if the person isn't online then for what using Skype? At the end you even recommend to write an additional email, which is the double work. If I use Skype mobile, pay even for the service then I also want reliability of status from the message and not just a guess or a statement from Skype like "hell yeh it is send and delivered but we don't guarantee that it is really delivered because we just wrote to every message that it is delivered". Lottery or what? Perhaps is that the reason why more and more switch the communication apps? Skype resume it is delivered but at the end they don't know it. So I resume that a status of pending is very important until the message is really delivered through a login from the receiver. And I also disagree to your statement that through email is guaranteed the delivery of messages, never listen the word server side spam management? An issue where sometimes the receiver need high educated computer knowledge for to config the system. I resume that this step from Skype is not a development this is more like a bug because there was no logic thinking in place as the software got upgraded.
