Messages stoped working

Messages stopped working after I did the Security Update last night. When I click on Messages to open it a box pops up that says Messages quit unexpectedly and the only option is to send a message to Apple.
Any idea why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Whilst still logged in to the Mac go to Applications/Utilities and launch Disk Utilities here.
In the First Aid tab repair Permissions of the Boot Drive.
It that does not appear to work then try Safe Boot

Message stoped working can not send pictures on iPad2? It starts to go put just stops!

I suspect an Apple problem because of the numerous discussion today. It may still work on the phone since it is using different servers.

When I close an Adobe doc I get a message that it has stoped working and a error msg - The instruction at 0x7734464a referenced memory at 0x00000010. The memory could not be read. This is very annoying. Word 2010 does almost the same thing.

I found the file but when I added it to the list for the Data Execution Program to ignore , I received a message that the Program.x86/itunes file must have the DEP on in order to run. Anyone else having this problem ?

Recieving a message 'Photoshop CS5 has been stoped Working'

I have been Recieving a message 'Photoshop CS5 has been stoped Working' after
opening PS and can do a little editing and after about 4 minutes the message comes which have
only one option , close program. Sometime i recieve another message also 'Onone Library' which have option 'ok'.
(Adobe Photoshop CS5.1)
I tried for a solution by changing name of file in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5.1\Plug-ins\Extensions
changed Scriptingsupport into ~ScriptingSupport but not solved. Some cannot open image.
A similiar has inserred , only chane in the name {Skype ------- Photoshop}

Double click on more then one of the Photoshop.exe stopped working entries to see the details like I showed. The details may show what is failing. Like mine showed it was in Photoshop ScripUIflex module. Used by scripts with Dialogs a would guess. Check several of yours. See if its always the same failure. The one you show is in widows ntdll.dll part of windows. On my system there are two ntdll.dll one 32bit version and one 64bit version. What were you trying to do at the time of failure
Also doing a google search on faulting module ntdll.dll returned 59,200 hits I would not know which to begin with.

Adobe ohotoshop 7.0 stoped working

I upgraded to leopard 10.5 and now my adobe photoshop 7.0 program has stoped working. It starts to load and the I get a message: An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred because of a program error. Photoshop will now exit.
I deleted the program, restarted the computer and installed photoshop again. But it still gives me the same message.
Please I am beging, Help!

Elements will open psd files with no problem, it will even open psd file of some complexity, including multiple layers, text layers, adjustment effects. It will ignore alpha channels of course, and while it will display any layer effects you applied, they don't appear in the layers pallette and you can't change them, you have them, they just work differently.
With regard to text: as long as you have the same fonts you had pre-Leopard all will be fine. If you are missing some font you used in an old project Elements will substitute something else. It will tell you so. But then so will Photoshop CS.
While there are some things Elements doesn't have that Photoshop CS does, there is often a work around to get the same thing. One major difference is layer masks, but see for instance these on how to get around this:

Read the Adobe description of Elements 6 and see what you think. Personally, I'm going for Elements, and also going to investigate the capablities of the GIMP.

My Windows host (Rundll32) has stoped working. What can i do to fix it?

Sorry, can't give much more detail. All i can say is some kind of "funny" vidoe clips come up when my comuter wants to shut down after not touching the key pad or mouse. Can't remove it unless, i turn off/ on. Then i get this message "windows host (rundll32) has stoped working.

First you can try;
Try restarting PC and run itunes again!
If error again than perform clean instal of itunes (uninstal first and than instal again)!

Cd/dvd drive stoped working

My cd writer/dvd drive has stoped working without any error messages or anything that could explain what went wrong. My computer is a year old and the drive was rarely used. how can I fix this?

Chad, welcome to the forum.
Check in the Device Manager to see if the drive is listed. If it is, uninstall it from the system using the Device Manager and reboot. This may solve your problem. If not, check to see if there is a firmware update available for the drive. A firmware update can solve many problems. Let us know if either of these solutions work.

Macbook Keyboard Partially stoped working

ok i have a macbook and the other day my keyboard randomly stoped working. now the FN keys at the top work including the brightnesss, volume, expose, dashboard, ect... but none of the letters work (a-z) also the enter key doesn't work caps lock doesnt work shift doesnt work and so on, BUT the arrow keys work
i went to the apple store yesterday and the genius told me they didn't know what was wrong with it and to reinstall leopard. only problem is i don't have my second dvd that came with my computer to install all the ilife08 stuff and i dont have the office 08 cd that was provided by my school. so when i got home i plug in my external hard drive which i use for time machine, pop in the disk and do a full restore to 3-7-08 after about 2 hours of it restoring it finally was finished, leopard boots up and finally everything works! so i go to bed. wake up this morning, go to class and i'm using my laptop in class to take notes in word. all of the sudden when i go to type another sentence the keyboard once again dies! i wasn't doing anything on my computer besides word. i believe the only other application i had running was little snich. so now i'm not sure why in gods name this has happened to me 2 times. the mac genius told me it wasn't a hardware problem and most likely software. what could be wrong????

I can only be of limited help, but I use Little Snitch and it's never given me any problems.
It's possible that some application is hijacking the keyboard input, but that seems to bizarre. It could be hardware, since the cable that connects the keyboard to the laptop is directly under the keyboard and it could be shorting out intermittently.

DVD writer stoped working

Hi,if anybody can help me, my DVD writer stoped working in Satellite A135-S2276 jast as I was installing new window vista.

I hope someone has some ideas. I have a Satellite A105-S4334, and the DVD-RW has disappeared from "My Computer". Numerous attempts to reload the driver produces message "Unable to load the driver, it may be corrupted". Replaced hardware , but no change. Also the computer recognizes my thumb drive, but just prompts "load disc". Help!

Web Auth Page stoped working

I'm using 4404 controllers and 1131 access points. Im on version 6.0.188.0
My Web Auth Page stoped working. I switched our webauth page back to the built in one to test weather or not it was my custome webauth was giving me the problem. It still didn't work. I switched an AP over to my second controller and used the built in webauth and it worked.
I tired restarting my first 4404 controller help.

I might have found a clue. I went under the security tab and clicked LDAP. I notice that server state was set to disable on controller 1. I looked at controller 2 and it was enable.
I made controller 1 enabled then pressed apply. I tried to login again and it didn't work. I went back and hit the apply button again and a message box poped up. It said "failed to set retransmit Timeout."
after I clicked ok (the only option) it set server state was disabled again.

Iphoto stoped working and when I opened it there were no photos.

I was looking for some photos and suddenly Iphoto stoped working when I opened it back there were no photos it was empty. What can I do ? Where can I find these photos

You can try Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your iPhoto library database

SBH80 stoped working

Hello.
I bought SBH80 last Aug on Amazon.
and couple of days ago, left side earphone stoped working.
I was listening music and all of sudden it stoped.
I guess there is bad connection on left side.
I tried to register it but there's no SBH80 on drop down menu whatsoever.
What should I do?

Airport utility stoped working

Using WIndows7, Airport Extreme, Airport Express and Airport Utility 5.5.3 for Windows.
When configuring Airport Express to extend wireless network then the software blows up and I get the "Airport Utility has stoped working" message.
Is this a known issue?
By the way, I have configured the Airport Extreme to allow extending the wireless network.

Most issues associated with running the airport utilities under Windows comes from interference from virus protection and firewall software. my advice is to uninstall the airport utility and turn off all virus and firewall software, re-install airport and try again with the antivirur and firewall software disabled.

Bluetooth in Satelite C660-10V has stoped working

Hi, my bluetooth has stoped working for one week.
From time I had changed internet modem instead USB adapter I can't reactivate my bluetooth.
On my screen is displaing message: "interface power is off"
Its imposible to achive turn on it, by the function key +F8 also "assistant bluetoth" doesn't work.
In a option of bluetooth assistant is shown 00:00:00:00:00:00 at the adress equipment.
Please help me with this problem.

If yes what happen when you try to activate BT?
