AmishCake is correct, this should help. Just as a little bit of extension on their answer: The home button is the only physical button on the front of the phone (towards the bottom)
The sleep/wake button is the power button, located on the top of the phone on the right.

You can try to reset your device
Reset
Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot. No data will be lost.
If that doesn't work, go into the settings, mail, contacts and calendars, delete the account, exit out, go back in and re-enter your information. For some reason during iOS updates it's common for mail settings to get messed up. Starting over is the easiest way to rectify the situation. -

I have plugged a portable battery to the USB and my macbook pro stopped working after that, right before it shut down there was a message on the screen that said something like " USB device is withdrawing so much power, please disconnect and connect again?
if the device I connected have caused this, shouldn't the macbook itself have some type of protection that should prevent this from happening.
because when I took it to an apple certified maintenance shop, the guy said that now it could only run while connected to the power. it won't run on batteries. and that I have to change the motherboard.
can I just replace the damaged part only, would apple consider this as a design issue and they could pay for it, or should I just buy a new motherboard for 800$.

The problem is in finding a tech shop that will/can do board level repairs on Macs. They are few. And I certainly wouldn't spend $800 on a new logic board - I would replace the computer if I had to pay that much!
You could call around to a few repair shops and see if they feel competent to isolate the problem and do a board level repair - but I'm afraid, in the end, that your search will be futile.

If you are seeing an Apple ID that is not yours, then you have purchased content on your iPad that is tied to that Apple ID. You would need to know that password or remove the content that is associated with that Apple ID.

Ipad mini screen is frozen. Message says Not Enough Storage. Cannot be backed up ect. problem is I can not enter settings to manage storage or even turn the device off. the screen is frozen and will not allow me to do anything. Anyone got any ideas?

Your phone is disabled for some reason. Maybe you entered the wrong Passcode too many times. In any case you need to do just as the phone is instructing you to do. Start the latest version of atones on your computer and connect your phone. iTunes should guide you through the process of getting your phone working again. The screen on my iPad is frozen. The hard reset does not reboot the iPad. I have an iCloud error message on the screen. That I can't get rid of.
Thank you. I had tried this before with no success. However, I tried it again. The problem is I don't know who to reboot without a keyboard. I can't get to the on screen key board with the screen locked up.
The error message I get is " iCloud Backup This iPad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happen when the iPad is plugged in, locked and connected to Wi-Fi" at the bottom of the message is an OK button.
Now with the iPad removed from the keyboard:the screen will stay lit for about 5 seconds and then go blank. Turning power off and on brings up a blank screen with the iCloud message and the slide to unlock. Touching the OK button causes a brief flutter of the button. Trying to slide the slide to unlock accomplishes nothing, since it won't slide.
The battery was at 49% when the problem occurred. I have since recharged the battery to 100%. I tried earlier to reboot with the iPad connected to AC.

When I try to open I Movie thes screen appears with the message "creating thumbnails" and then freezes. None of my events or projects appear in the libraries. I cannot close I Movie or my computer and have to force shut down my Macbook. This is a sudden occurence.
You can never, never transfer an installed copy of PSE. It's just too complex and it strews stuff all over your hard drive in places the migration assistant is not programmed to look. Now you will need to download and run this:

after which you can go around and manually remove all the bits from Applications, the library at the top level of your hard drive>application support>adobe, and your username>library>preferences. Spotlight will not help with this; it's programmed to skip these kinds of files.
Then you can reinstall from scratch. Let us know if you need help finding the library folders.

JList KeyListener throws exception on VK_DELETE
