Messaging problem iPhone 5 iOS 7 ... Help!!

This morning I woke up to a text from an "unknown" contact. The message said "the text cannot be found".
I have 3 group texts that I participate in daily. The main group chat gets at least 200 messages a day. We have used it for several months now. The group chat was working fine until about 5 hours ago, when all of a sudden it wouldn't let me send a text to that group, eventually it did go through. Then I started receiving more and more texts from "unknown". After a few hours I would revive messages from that group randomly. Some were 2-3 hours old, and in complete random order.
All my other group texts are working fine, except that one. I can even text the members individually and it works, just not in that particular group. 5 hours later and I keep getting "unknown" blank texts... But nothing from that ONE group. Everyone else in the group can send and receive just fine, except me.
I've called both ATT and Apple, I've done everything.. Wifi on/off, iMessage on/off, SIM card in and out, reset network settings, reset all settings, deleted the group text and still, nothing.
Any tips?

Did you try the general reset of holding down the on/off button an d the home button simultaneously until the Apple logo appeared.
This usually gets iMessage sorted out.

Messaging problem on IOS 6 - messages fail when contacts have linkages

I don't know if anybody else is having this problem as well; I could not find anything particularly like this issue which is affecting me. Perhaps it's possible that others have experienced this problem and just used the workaround and not bother to notify Apple.
When IOS 6 linked up with Facebook it reimported all my facebook contacts into my contact list,which meaned that I had many duplicates of my contacts where I once had their original numbers in my contacts on the phone without the need of a new card, with facebook email address included and whatever it could obtain from FB. I found a solution online that you could then link your contacts to get around that issue, by clicking on the link button. You could then amalgamate those duplicate contacts (sometimes had 3 or 4 contacts for a single person).
A solution was needed because anytime you accessed your contacts to give someone a call, or send them a text, you'd have to flip through around 4 or 5 contacts at times to just get to the number .
Now I believe this is causing an SMS issue. If you go to your contact list, and select one of those contacts that have been 'grouped', and you select to message them, it sometimes brings up a completely fresh SMS window, without the history of SMS chats that you ordinarily have for that contact. This new message that you started is likely incorrectly pointing to the wrong details to make an SMS.
This is a ridiculous oversight and I am surprised that Apple hasn't caught onto this ?
Anyone else experienced this or know of a solution to this problem, other than searching through your message history and try to find a 'working SMS' with that contact ? Also I know you can probably delete that contact and just create a new contact for them. Surely this is something apple should have fixed by now ?

Firstly, apologies for the delayed response. Have been out of town with no access to internet, hence the delay.
To answer some of the questions posed here-
-This does not happen when I sent the text message to 4 or 5 people
-I have usually come across this scenario when I try to forward a message I have received to people in my contact list.
-Yes, each and every message is definitely sent to a mobile phone number and not to an email id
- When more than 10 people are selected it definitely changes to MMS and has shown the message size as 0.5kb (about 12 recipients)
- There is no option of 'text message' when options>sending options>message type is chosen once the message turns from text to MMS message, after more than 10 recipients are chosen.
-The message I tried to forward consisted of about 150 characters
Any help to get to the correct cause and find a solution would be greatly appreciated as I often forward a messages to a lot of people in my contacts list.

Random crash and gyroscope problems (Iphone iOS 6.1)

Since the last iOS update (6.1). I have experienced a few problems with my Iphone 5.
First of all the day that i updated the iOS, i started getting random crashes.The screen dimmed and 2 or 3 yellow vertical lines appeared, and short after the Iphone restarted itself. The crash was happening mostly when opening the camera or any app that used the camera, but it will also restart by just browsing through the home screen (less likely). Then i noticed that some apps that use the gyroscope where locking up (like panorama 360), and a message telling me to restart the iphone because the gyro was locked up (i checked pressing home twice and the gyro wasn't locked). After the restart i worked for about 15 minutes, and the gyro would stuck up again (and the crashes were getting worse). I decided to do a factory recovery, and it solve most of the problems, but i still get 1 or 2 crashes everyday (maybe more, because i dont know if the cellphone restarts when it is in my pocket) (and it now doesnt restart by using the camera), and the gyroscope sometimes works fine, and very few times it stucks up, so i close the app that uses it, lock the gyro, give the phone a few shakes, put the gyro back on and it works again.
I'm trying to simulate the moments that the phone crashes or when the gyro stucks up, but i can't, it is just very random.
PD: The phone worked perfectly with iOS 6.0.1, could be a software problem? hardware problem?
PD2: i have used linpack to stress the phone but it doesnt crash or anything.

The last two day i haven't experienced crashes but sometimes the gyro stucks.

Message Problem. Please help.

Earlier this morning I encountered a problem. My girlfriend received a text message that I didn't even type. It wasn't even in the copy paste. It was different a message from what I replied to her. I didn't even see it my inbox, that I sent it. She forwarded the message to me and it was a text from before and I already deleted it and couldn't even find it in the inbox. She keeps on insisting that it was sent earlier this morning but I told her that I didn't even type that text and I didn't even send that kind of text, and is very sure that the text is already deleted. Just wanted to know if this happened to other people too? and what might be the solution to this? and is this even possible that the text that a deleted text be sent to her again? I recognize the text she forwarded, it a text that I sent her the text a month ago. But is it possible? Is there some kind of bug?

To include a "smiley" in a SMS (predictive text must be on) just press "1" three times and press"*" to change it to a wink!

I have problem with messages related to bank or groups or unviersity . I can see the preview of last message but when I enter for example Bank I can't see any Previous messages . Some messages contain imp information . Can u fix this problem soon as possaible please .

I'm having the same problem with texts showing as unread. I click on the conversation and then click on back to go to the conversations and after about a second the texts go back to unread. It shows as 2 unread texts from my wife. I deleted 5 messages from the conversations, and the dot went away for a second and came right back and said two unread texts again! I had her send me a text and it went to 3 unread texts. Clicked into the conversation then back out and it went back down to 2 and the stupid blue dot came back! I've rebooted the phone and that doesn't help either.

This is a typical response from the manufacturer. Did you try the fix that Lawrence mentioned. When Apple or any other phone manufacturer update phone software, they have the latest Bluetooth installed. It is usually the problem with the radio manufacturer that they devices are using the older Bluetooth protocols. You can try this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3581 and see if anything there helps, but generally it requires the radio manufacturer to update their firmware.

I haven't gotten a new sim card because the problem has been presenting itself in various cards not only mine. So far, all I've done is reset my network settings.
Last night, I turned off the 3G tab and it had all the signal bars. Today, I did the network reset and it's working apparently. But like I said before, previously the bars just disappear and the iphone only has the 3G activated.
