Messaging server Installation packages

Hi,
We are going to install the following Commsuite 7 ( 7 update 1 ) package which was downloaded freely on May 2010.
ci-7.0-0.02-SunOS_sparc.zip
At the moment after Sun---> Oracle change the "Oracle Communications Unified Communication Suite 7 update 1" is not free and give only the
1 month trial version free.
Appreciate your advice on how I should proceed with one of my corporate customer with a enterprise level messaging server deployment.
Thanks and Best Regards.

I'm not sure what you question is, but you might want to look at this previous answer:

I am trying to update ITunes from 10.4 to 10.5 I have tried from both the program, and from a download on Apple's website. Regardless, I get the following error messages: (1) Installation package for iTunes cannot be found. Try installing to find the installation package 'iTunes.msi' in a folder from which you can install iTunes.  I can't find this folder. I have tried to completely unistall iTunes through the Control Panel, but it wouldn't let me: I tried going directly to the files themselves, but cannot uninstall. Any help would be greatly appreciated. System OS: Win XP SP 3.

Set the permissions for Everyone in the folder in which CCPackager created, to "Read/Write" enabled. This is strange since there is only an administrator account on the Mac (and that account already has read/write), but it seems to resolve the issue.

  • On win 7 64 bit mozilla or IE 10  I get the following message This installation package could net be opened verify that the package exist and that you can access for contact the application vendor to verify this is a valid windows installer package I trie

I get this following message when installing the latest itunes on mozilla or IE10 was working on this machine before crash and reinstalled for HP disc I tried at leat 15 times firewall off /on microsoft essentials on/off  on windows 7  64 bit  see  message
This installation package could net be opened verify thatthe package exist and that you can access for contact the application vendor to verify this is a valid windows installer package

If you are not already doing so, install from an Administrator account.
If you haven't already done so, download the iTunes Installer from:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Then right click on the installer and select "Run as Administrator." (Even though you are using an admin account).
If that doesn't work, try creating a new administrator account and installing from there.

  • TS3212 I cannot install iTunes 10.6.3 on Windows 7 (64 bit). I redceive the following message - "The installation package could not be opened..." Tried opening in safe mode - no luck. Anybody have a solution?

I cannot install iTunes 10.6.3 on Windows7 (64 bit). I keep getting the following message: "The installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer program." Anybody have a solution?

I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

hello i have been trying to install i tunes 10 on to my pc but as i get to the end of installation it comes up with the message windows installer package failed contact support or vendor how do i solve this im running vista of an acer laptop many thanks

Let's try the following user tip with that one:
"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package ..." error messages when installing iTunes for Windows

  • HT5030 whem installing itunes i get this message "this installation package could not be opened. Verifiy that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package"

whem installing itunes on my mums new computer which is windows 7 i get this message everytime "this installation package could not be opened. Verifiy that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package"

    Let's check your Windows system.
    1.  Have you done all the important windows updates and service Packs on your system.  If not do it now.  START button, type in Windows Update and ENTER.  Select 'CHECK FOR UPDATES'
    2.  Let's check your Windows system files for possible file corruption
SCAN and repair possible Windows system file corruption:
Go to command prompt (START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES right mouse click "command prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator"
    type in
    sfc /scannow
let Windows fix any system files that need to be repaired.
Restart the computer if it did actually repair any files.
    3.  Check your system for possible Malware.  But you have to do it in WIndows Safe Mode.
Start your computer in "Safe mode with networking", go to this link download a free version of Malwarebyte.
    http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
Install and perform update immediately, then do a full SCAN. Remove malware if it indeed finds any. Restart computer to regular windows to let Malwarebyte complete the removal.
To start your computer in safe mode
Press and hold the F8 key as your computer starts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you'll need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then shutting down and restarting your computer.
On the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight the "safe mode with networking" option, and then press Enter. Log on to your computer with a user account that has administrator rights.
When your computer is in safe mode, you'll see the words Safe Mode in the corners of your screen. To exit safe mode, restart your computer and let Windows start normally.

  • I purchased and downloaded Acrobat Pro XI.  After the pop-up requesting the language I got a message "The installation package could not be opened.  Verify that the package exists..."

The full message was "The installation package could not be opened.  Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify this is a valid Windows Installer package."

OK, I got around this error by extracting the files to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe Acrobat XI"
Now I get a different error "1325.kstanwood is not a valid short file name".  I'm not certain why it's even trying to create such a file name.

  • TS3212 Installation package could not be opened. error message. Windows 7 64 bit

iTunes failed to run after using it successfully for over a year on this laptop running Windows 7 64 bit. Numerous attempts to download after uninstalling iTunes results in the error message below. Unable to install Safari as well, same error message.
    Receiving the following message:
"This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you have access to it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer Package."

Nope, that's not it. I've got the same issue, or close to it. The update downloads, a message box opens stating that the file has an invalid signature, and the installer file is deleted. 10.6.3 has attempted to update numerous times, all with the same result. Update is up-to-date, downloading the file always produces the same result and every so often iTunes update comes up to repeat this process. With the volume of posts regarding this issue, why is it that the assumption is always to 'reinstall (repair) the software.' Why doesn't anyone take a look at whether something's broken with the upgrade? Too much trouble? You should try attempting to repair installs once a week or so, now _that's_ a hassle.

I have tried and tried to install itunes on my mums zoostorm windows 7 64-bit pc and it comes up with this message "this installation package could not be opened, verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package" i have tried everything that i have been told to do and nothing has worked but then i try to install it on her toshiba satellite pro windows 7 32-bit as she reset it back to factor settings she has done ALL updates she had itunes on her laptop before but when we went to install it back on the laptop it cam up with the same message as it did on the pc i would really like it if someone can please help with this problem as i am getting so annoyed with it. I have a zoostorm windos 7 32-bit laptop and i have reset that bk to factory settings and i installed itunes on there with no problems so a soultion would be really great.
    Many thanks Donna

The dxkerneltuner command is one way to raise the number of user

<LI>Login as root (or su to root) on Digital Unix and execute the

A child window will pop up, displaying parameters in that category, along with

    64 and 267 respectively.
    <P>
These should be replaced by values more

  • Sun Java System Messaging Server - necessary components

People, prompt: for Sun Java System Messaging Server besides ldap, what is necessary?

    Hi,
What is it you want to do with your messaging server installation? If you don't want UWC access (i.e. IMAP/POP access only) then Messaging Server is all you need (along with an LDAP server which may or may not be installed on the same system). A mail-relay system for example requires very little, in fact during configuration you can disable the store to leave MTA functionality only.
