Messed up password control settings for sleep

I recently thoughtlessly installed some trialware for face recognition and as a result I can't put my mac to sleep anymore with password protection clicked because no warning message comes up when I do .. I'm forced to reboot the computer if I have password ticked, because it just produces a black screen since uninstalling the offending software. Can I fix this without having to reinstall my whole OS?

It's difficult to know the difference for these so-called "table name"...
"SAP implementaion --> supplier relationship management --> supplier self-service --> settings for user interface --> make field control settings for tables"+
What's actual meaning for these table names? Where can I find related document and actual corresponding transparent tables for these so-called talbes?

Remote Control settings for Markers

The user manual for Studio Pro 4 states that Remote Control settings for Markers will override all other settings while that part of the track or story plays.
This however, is not the case- In my project the track & story settings for Remote Control>Menu are actually overriding marker Remote Control>Menu settings, & I really need the marker functions to take precedence over other functions.
Any idea how I can make this happen?

As Jake said - I am not seeing this behaviour either.
If you clear all end jumps from chapter markers and place the markers into stories then you set the menu call for the story. This can be different to the track and depending on which you are playing the menu call for that item will take precedence.
Of course, if you really want to make it bullet proof then you could point the menu call to a script. Assuming that no matter which story you are in, or how you got to the marker in the track, the following script will always return you to a specific button on a menu for the marker that you have just played

SPRM7 is a system parameter that checks which marker has just played. The first line of the script loads the value of this into a memory slot called GPRM0. The second line operates a jump to your menu - I assume there is only one menu here - and using a conditional GPRM based button jump, the value of GPRM0 fills in the value of the button to go to. This saves writing out lines of code for each possible button.
If you have lots of menus then this script can be adapted very easily to cope with that, or you can set up other scripts to identify which menu you have come from so as you know which to go back to.
However, before any of this I would want to know why you are not getting the expected behaviour on our project - my guess is that there is going to be a menu call set into a chapter marker which is over-riding the track or story menu call. If you have end jumps on markers, or menu calls on markers, remove them.

Copy control settings for Multilevel variant configuration

I have the following scenario for variant configuration A quotation is created for configurable material with multilevel configurable material
with reference to this quoatation a sales order is created.
My requirement is that the quoatation must get copied to sales order as it is along with the values for subitems also.
In copy control settings there is a field at item level called
configuration :
In this if I maintain value
A: The variant is getting copied but the values for subitems is not getting copied the values for main material is in changable mode.
B: The variant is getting copied but the values for subitems is not getting copied the values for main material are not in changable mode.
C:The variant is getting copied   the values for subitems is getting copied the values for main material are in changable mode but the values for subitems are not in changable mode.
My requiremnt is that
The variant must get copied
the values for subitems must get copied
the main material vlaues must be in changable mode
the subitems vlaues must be in changable mode
How can I fullfill this requiremnt, has any one of you come across this scenario, Pleae provide with solution it is urgent

Can I change the settings for sleep/wake when display is opened/closed?

Every time I try to close my display the clasp doesn't catch completely & the display pops open causing it to wake from sleep mode. I have to put something heavy on top of the display when it is closed to keep it closed. The clasp is broken & I was wondering if I could simply change the automatic setting of waking the computer when the lid is opened? Everytime I move it, it pops open & I don't want my battery depleted.

Hi, desire. To set PB so opening the display doesn't wake the computer:
Applications > Utilities > Terminal
Type or paste the following in the Terminal window:
sudo pmset lidwake 0
It will ask for your password. Type that in, hit return, and quit the Terminal.
To change it back so the system wakes when you open the lid, type:
sudo pmset lidwake 1

Trade Preference customizing in ECC - Control Settings for BOM Transfer

i am struggeling what i should customize in the field "BOM Application for GTS" in ECC customizing activity "Control Transfer of Bills of Product for Preference and Re-Export".
Should i use SD01 or PP01 or PI01. As far as i know my company is using classic production orders as well as process orders.
Does anyone know the impact on the field?
Is it only relevant for exception cases like "sales order BOMS"? I have found this thread and there SD01 was maintained:

Copying wireless router password and settings to a new Powerbook

I recently bought a second 15" powerbook after my girlfriend bought my former one.
I bought a Lynksys WRT54G Wireless G Router and after some configuration, I successfully connected her powerbook to my DSL connection wirelessly. However I now am having trouble connecting my new PB wirelessly. I am a bit apprehensive about messing with setting a new password, etc, since I might mess up her wireless connection. I remember it took some time to set the router properly.
Is there a way to copy, and or see, ALL of the settings that I configured in her powerbook for this Lynksys Router, so I can copy them correctly to mine?
When I tried before, I had something screwed up because I kept getting different errors as I tried different settings.
So I need to retrieve the PASSWORD and SETTINGS for the Lynksys Router from her BP and copy them to mine.
Can anyone help with this?

The problem is that even after copying all of the settings from my girlfriends PB, including a long password starting with a $, my airport won't connect to the Lynksys wireless network. Airport is turned on (on my powerbook), and 'Ive chosen the proper wireless network with the proper password in network settings. I also added my PB Mac address to the Lynksys router when I was hooked up via an ethernet cable, but I still can't connect the the wireless network. I have both Powerbooks side by side. Hers connects wirelessly and mine doesn't.
I'm missing a setting somewhere, I believe.

OS X Server 4.0.3 Profile Manager Settings for Mobile Users problems

OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 with Server 4.0.3
We are using Profile Manager to control Settings for Mobile Users, and give homeSync to the users. Our problem is that the exclude / Skip items (Items matching any of the following will not sync" This setting is not working an example. I have put this folder to Skip Items ~/Downloads but the home Sync still Syncing items in the Downloads folder.
I have this problem on all the 3 users/machines on that server. Every client is using os x 10.10.1 og 10.10.2 I have check that the profile from the server is on the client.
Has any a solution to that?

I have no solution but have experienced failing sync settings (quite often) in both 10.6 Server and 10.9 + Server 3 (upgraded from 10.6 Server) in the same way as you described, it syncs too much. We have given up on synched home folders and will cut them and use other backup methods since we’re not so dependant on switching between different devices. Our users usually have one computer, one iPhone, one iPad and stay with those until it’s time to exchange them.

Reg: UTA ports FCoE, 10GbE flow control settings

Could someone shed some light on the flow control settings for UTA ports, below is the scenario.I am working on the configutation of 4 node 3220 custer. We are using this 4 node cluster for FC and NFS traffic. each UTA port on the node used to serve both FcoE and NFS traffic( UTA port logically acting as FC and 10GbE ports) . However, the flow control is set to FULL on the 10GbE logical port to serve the NFS traffic. I think this flow control settings at 10GbE logical port level doesn't effect the FC traffic flow of the UTA port. the flow control settings would be effective on 10GE logical ports only.. Please confirm this... NetApp recommend to set the flow control to NONE and upper layer protocalls can take care of flow control( as per Best practise). If I want to change the flow control setting of 10GbE logical port, does it effect the data flow of logical FC0E port aswell?Now the actual issues is we are using the controllers mostly to serve FC trafic and we are experienceing Performance issues on all the nodes. current ONTAP version on the controller is 8.2p5we are hitting the latency of 50-80ms, I am trying to track the IO on the controllers, IO is not really high when we had the performace issues, But some times disk utilizations and cpu utlization hitting 80%. Performace manager doesn't have the granularity at aggregate level to track what LUN/volumes are casuing the high utlization at aggregate level..I am using the coomands sysstat -M, sysstat -x, netstat , statit commands mainly. However, I am not sure on any other internal porcesses are causing the high disk uitlizations...Please share your ideas on this..Oh.. another point this.. These controllers are flexpod config.....

Hi,We haven't worked on flow control settings.. you mean you are able to Disable the flow control on CNA cards?We have upgraded these filers to 8.2.3P3. at the moment filers are working fine, no performance issues.. However I wanted to disable the flow control on these ports, if possble. HELP... Unable to alter any parental control settings- I get an error message immediately and the lock goes back on.

Is there a fix to the parental control problem – in Mountain lion? I've been unable to change any control settings for months...should have kept the family PC...this IMAC is garbage at this point.

Although one would think that re-creating the index could fix this problem, that’s not the case. What sometimes works is restarting the computer or doing some cache-cleaning — don’t ask me why, and I don’t know how to fix the problem when that doesn’t work either.

Configuration settings for the AD Password Sync Connector

I am looking for information on how do retries work for the OIM Password (Sync) Connector for Active Directory. We are currently using version 9.1.1.5.10. If anyone can help answer any of the below questions, it will be very appreciated. Also, if there is a doc that explains this, please do let me know. The official connector doc on the Oracle site provides a good architectural overview but it does not talk about any of these registry settings.
a) What does this registry setting "OIMConfig\ConfigSleepTime" control
b) What does this registry setting "OIMConfig\MAX_RETRIES" control
c) What does this registry setting "OIMConfig\SleepTime" control
- In my experience this is the time when the password update thread kicks off. So in other words it represents the max latency between when you change a password in AD and when it will get pushed down to OIM. If you set this to 300 seconds, then you are looking at a worse case scenario of a 300 second lag between the time you changed your AD password and when it was pushed to OIM.
d) According to this doc, http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11223_01/doc.910/e11218/overview.htm#CEGHJCJE, bullet #6 states:
"If Oracle Identity Manager rejects the password change, then the password update thread keeps resending SPML requests until the retry count reaches the maximum number of retries."
I am trying to understand what is the reasoning behind having the connector retry the password update if OIM has already rejected it once. Is there a possible scenario where OIM would reject a password update the first time and then accept the same password update on a second attempt?
e) Referring back to question #d above, what is the frequency at which the connector will attempt retries?

What are the default font settings for 7.0.1 I have messed with them a bit and now my text is blotchy. I want to start clean.

I tried to adjust font settings to a font that I prefer and a size I can read. It was all kind of messed up so I searched what the default settings should be to start at ground zero again which I found but now it is worse. The main issue is that text is blotchy, dark some places, light another. Monitor is new so it's not issue. What exactly are the Default settings for 7.0.1 I'm not sure mine are correct ??? What other things can I look at if the default doesn't improve everything? I have Windows 7 and turning clear text on or help has no effect. PLEASE HELP ???

If you have an ATI graphics display try to disable "Morphological Filtering" in the Catalyst display driver:
* Catalyst Control Center > 3D Settings > Disable Morphological Filtering
Try to disable hardware acceleration.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.
