Meta Data issue

Hi,
When I'm trying to load the IDoc meta data from IDX2 it is telling first delete the old one and then reload. But, the problem is we are unable to see the already existing IDoc meta data.
Can some one suggest how to see meta data all the loaded IDocs.
Regards,
Anitha.

  • ITunes Album art/possible meta data issue? Really need help

So ill try and break this down as simple as possible...
I moved all my music from my Windows PC to my brand new MacBook Pro. All the song info/album Art and everything matches just fine on my windows pc. However on my Mac when itunes downloads any artwork it puts in artwork from other albums and artists. When I click on the song up in the iTunes sidebar lists Artist/Songs from an entirely different album. I have tried fixing all Meta data and converted ID tags and matched everything perfectly to iTunes Store but it still things the artwork is for another artist and the sidebar diplays the same info. I have even cleared out my library and copied to an external and reimported but same issue. I dont want to sit here and fix every single artwork problem especially when the information to the album is literally word for word match in iTunes store.
My other fear is that if iTunes thinks some of my songs are completely different artists when iTunes Match rolls around my songs will not populate correctly?
Please any other ideas? Like I said the album meta data is 100% matched (Artist, Song, Genre, Year, tracks)

    clever point...

some album covers just aren't exactly square, particularly if the CDs are sold in cardboard flip-cases.
I deal with artwork in a more hap-hazzard way, but most of the time, i get SQUARE results...
Just Google the album title, then click the IMAGES tab. More times than not, I find the album cover in multiple sizes and about every time, at least one version that is truly square.
All i need to do then is click the image, then again at the top of the resulting Google page (to show just the image - out of it's surrounding page), then drag the image directly to the Album Artwork Placeholder in the GET INFO tab (that has already been opened on multiple items - the whole album).

  • Search Issue with OCR Files and Meta data

We have setup SharePoint 2013 on windows 2012 server. It is have cumulative update until August. Its version is 15.0.4535.1000.
I have created two site content type of document type. Both content type have 4 site column which are common in them. Both have two site column separate in each. I configure search service application, which is also working very good and also don't have any
kind of error. I have added this two content type in one document library which have lot of sub-folders
All Files are OCR pdf which is done by meta data
Now the issue is that when I search anything from search center, sometimes I will get result with data from site columns and sometime i will not get data but just link to file and Name of the file. Wired thing is that columns are common and they crawling Full
    and Incremental also properly.
Below is the screen for my search where you can see that there is no summary. How can I bring summary
So what can be the issue for this.

    Hi,
For metadata, which metadata are you not seeing? Are they custom properties within the PDF, and have you checked if you have crawled properties matching these?
I know there's issue with last modified on PDF's (http://sharepointfieldnotes.blogspot.no/2013/05/understanding-and-getting-sharepoint.html)

  • Issue loading Meta Data for IDoc Type WPUKSR01 in XI Integration Repository

    Hi,
I want to load the Meta Data for IDoc Type WPUKSR01 in XI Integration Repository out of BI. Unfortunately, this IDoc is not available in the IDoc List. I checked in BI and the IDoc Type is available in WE60 and WE30. Also, I can load the Meta Data for the Idoc in XI ABAP (IDX2).
Can someone tell me why the IDoc doesn't show up in XI Integration Repository Import Object List?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards.
    Alex

    Hi Aamir,
The Idoc is released since Release 30A. I also tried to load the IDoc Meta Data from ERP with the same result: it does not show up in the list.
    Thanks anyway.

  • IDOC ADAPTER Issue, some meta data loads, some doesn't

    Hey all,
I just started trying to setup the IDOC adapter connection between our R/3 system and our XI system. I decided to try and pull in some meta data via IDX2 to start. The weird thing is that I get some IDOC structures successfully, but not others. I think it has to do with some requirnments that I am missing on the R/3 side. For instance, outside of setting up the RFC connection, creating the tRFC port and the partner profile for the Logical system what else is needed. Do I have to assign the basic type to the outbound partner profile to access it? Do I have to actually create IDOCS for the basic type? Just curious. Here are the details of what I have done so far. A lot of this I pulled from other peoples postings here on the forum, I think I am just missing a few steps!
Our current configuration is as follows:
SAP R/3 Enterprise to post IDOCs to XI .
    - R/3 Configuration:
    logical system created: DXICLNT200
we20 : Partner Type LS: partner number: DXICLNT200.
we21 : IDOC Ports: Transactional RFC: Port name: DXICLNT200. IDOC record type SAP Release 4.x. RFC Destination : DXICLNT200
sm59 : create RFC destination : DXICLNT200. Target host: the XI box. Logon security: Client 200. XIAPPLUSER. PASSWORD (for XIAPPLUSER). Testing the connection works.
    - XIHOST Configuration:
sm59 : created RFC destination to DDSCLNT210. Gateway options used, NO Client or User specified, are these needed, if so, is there a particular user to use.
    Test connection works.
    IDX1 : Created Port - DDSCLNT210. client 210. RFC destination DDSCLNT210.
IDX2 : Able to load metadata for IDoc Type CHRMAS01, of port DDSCLNT210. NOT ABLE TO IMPORT CREMAS03 or MATMAS03!
    Any help is greatly apprciated!
    Thanks,
    Chris

There was a problem in the RFC connection, the target host was not populated correctly. All meta data can now be pulled.
However, I am curious about where the meta data for CHRMAS and CLSMAS came from. the RFC connection was NOT working, so where could it have pulled this information from????

  • Can No Longer Edit Song Meta Data In Latest iTunes 11.1???

I just discovered that since the update to version 11.1 I can no longer manually edit the meta data by using the Show info function, all options are greyed out. For instance I can no longer adjust the volume level on a song nor can I edit the fields for song title and artist tec. There is also no longer any tab for album art when using the Show Info function on a song that has no album cover art. On songs that already have an album cover there will be an album art tab but the options there are all greyed out so I can not change the album cover art if I wanted too. This really *****, I can no longer edit album cover art for songs that have another cover already and I can not add any cover picture at all for songs that have no cover art (unless I manage to get the cover from the iTunes store but that is very often not successfull).
Another bug I found is that I can no longer add any video file to my playlists.
So this new update really ***** for me and have ruined my itunes experience.
Do anyone else in here have the same problem?
I really hope Apple will fix these bugs as soon as possible!

I think I finally found a solution to this problem. It appears that for some reason, some songs you download will maintain write protection that the original owner had set on his/hers computer. In my case for this Ellie Goulding album that I had problem with, it turned out my friend who gave it to me had some of the songs stored on his iPad and that caused the files to become write protected it seems, and this write protection was transfered over to my PC. To solve this issue, everytime you encounter a song in iTunes that you can not edit just right click it and select Show/View In Explorer, that will take you to the storage location of the file in question. Now right click the song and select Properties and see if it is write protected, if it is then just uncheck that option and click ok. Now you should be able to edit the meta data for that song again. So it appears this is not a bug in iTunes but rather a write protection issue.

  • OBIEE 11g Map Visualization Error - basemap is defined in spatial meta-data

    Hi All,
I have installed OBIEE 11g successfully on my Desktop Machine, deployed the Sample Applications regarding Mapviewer and its working fine. I have seen all the Maps and they are running fine in fact they are editable and i can easily do anything with those Maps but,
    The issue is that when i am going to create a new Report and try to integrate Map on it then it shows an error as display below;
A basemap is required to render a map. Please ensure that atleast one basemap is defined in the spatial meta-data
    Error Details
    Error Codes: EMGUNIA3
    Location: saw.views.evc.activate, saw.httpserver.processrequest, saw.rpc.server.responder, saw.rpc.server, saw.rpc.server.handleConnection, saw.rpc.server.dispatch, saw.threadpool,
    saw.threadpool, saw.threads
I have also followed this link ( http://erpthings.blogspot.com/2011/01/obiee-11g-inbuilt-mapping-and-spatial.html ) but it is also stuck on the same error at the end.
I didn't understand the problem why its giving an error like this while the Sample Application worked fine so, if there is any way to define a basemap in spatial meta-data plz guide me OR
Is there any way to integrate Map with OBIEE 11g ?
    Cheers,
    Masood.

    This question has been solved!
Basically you need to ensure the database schema where the data source (Navteq) has been imported must have the privilege "Create Type"
This comes from the Oracle manual extract as shown below:
1.4.4.3 Creating MapViewer Array Types, if Necessary
For each database schema that it connects to, MapViewer checks for the existence of
the following SQL array types that support array-type binding variables that might
    exist in some predefined themes:
    ■ MV_STRINGLIST
    ■ MV_NUMBERLIST
    ■ MV_DATELIST
If these types do not exist, MapViewer attempts to create them in the database schema
associated with the MapViewer data source. However, if the user associated with that
schema does not have sufficient privileges to create new types, a privileged user must
create the types by connecting to the data source schema and entering the following
    statements:
    CREATE or REPLACE type MV_STRINGLIST as TABLE of VARCHAR2(1000);
    CREATE or REPLACE type MV_NUMBERLIST as TABLE of NUMBER;
    CREATE or REPLACE type MV_DATELIST as TABLE of DATE;
    Cheers.

  • Problem writing meta data changes in xmp in spite of enabled settings

    Dear Adobe Community
After struggling with this for two full days and one night, you are my last hope before I give up and migrate to Aperture instead.
I am having problems with Lightroom 5 writing meta data changes into xmp and including development settings in JPEG, inspite of having ticked all three boxed in catalog settings.
In spite of having checked all boxes, Lightroom refused to actually perform the actions. I allowed the save action to take a lot longer than the saving indicator showed was needed, but regardless of this no edits made in the photo would be visible outside Lightroom. I also tried unticking and ticking and restarting my compute.
Therefore, I uninstalled the program and the reinstalled it again (the trial version both times). I added about 5000 images to Lightroom (i.e. referenced). After having made a couple of changes for one photo in development settings, I tried closing the program. However, then this message was then displayed:
I left the program open and running for about 5-5 hours, then tried closing the program, but the message still came up so I closed the program and restarted the computer. I tried making changes to another photo, saving and then closing and the same message comes up. The program also becomes unresponsive, and of course still no meta data has been saved to the photo, i.e. when opening it outside Lightroom, the edits of the photos is not shown.
What do do? I would greatly appreciate any insights, since I have now completely hit the wall.
    Oh yes, that´s right:
What version of Lightroom? Include the minor version number (e.g., Lighroom 4 with the 4.1 update).
    Lightroom 5.3
Have you installed the recent updates? (If not, you should. They fix a lot of problems.)
I installed the program two days ago and then for the second time today.
What operating system? This should include specific minor version numbers, like "Mac OSX v10.6.8"---not just "Mac".
    Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_8_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/31.0.1650.63 Safari/537.36
What kind(s) of image file(s)? When talking about camera raw files, include the model of camera.
    JPEG
If you are getting error message(s), what is the full text of the error message(s)?
    Please see screen dumps above
What were you doing when the problem occurred?
Trying to save metadata + trying to open images that it seemed I had saved meta data to
    Has this ever worked before?
    No
What other software are you running?
For some time Chrome, Firefox, Itunes. Then I closed all other software.
Tell us about your computer hardware. How much RAM is installed?  How much free space is on your system (C:) drive?
    4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Has this ever worked before?  If so, do you recall any changes you made to Lightroom, such as adding Plug-ins, presets, etc.?  Did you make any changes to your system, such as updating hardware, printers or drivers, or installing/uninstalling any programs?
No, the problems have been there all the time.

    Hi Rob
I think you succeeded in partly convincing me. : ) I think I will go for a non-destrucitve program like LR when I am back in Sweden, but will opt for a destructive one for now.  Unfortuntately, I have an Olypmus- so judging from your comment NX2 might not be for me.

Note: I edited your statement: I assume you meant now instead of not.
If you start shooting raw, then you're gonna need a raw processor, regardless of what the next step in the process will be. And there are none better for this purpose than Lightroom, in my opinion. As has been said, you can export those back to Lightroom as jpeg then delete the raws, if storage is a major issue, or convert to Lossy DNG. Both of those options assume you're willing to adopt a non-destructive workflow, from there on out anyway (not an absolute requirement, but probably makes the most sense). It's generally a bad idea to edit a jpeg then resave it as a jpeg, because quality gets progressively worse every time you do that. Still, it's what I (and everybody else) did for years before Lightroom, and if you want to adopt such a workflow then yeah: you'll need a destructive editor that you like (or as I said, you can continue to use Lightroom in that fashion, by exporting new jpegs and deleting originals - really? that's how you want to go???). Reminder: NX2 works great on jpegs, and so is still very much a candidate in my mind - my biggest reservation in recommending it is uncertainty of it's future (it's kinda in limbo right now).

There is a plugin which will automatically delete originals upon export, but relying on plugins makes for additional complication too.
    Which plugin is this?
Exportant (the option is invisible by default, but can be made visible by editing a text config file). To be clear: I do not recommend using Exportant for this purpose until after you've got everything else setup and functioning, and even then it would be worth reconsidering.

    How do you do this?
    Via Publish Services.
PS - I also use features in 'Publish Service Assistant' and 'Change Manager' plugins (for complete automation), but most people just select publish collections and/or sets and click 'Publish' - if you only have a few collections/services it's convenient enough.

  • Photoshop CS3 crashes when meta-data is edited

We are using Photoshop CS3 on our G5 Mac running Leopard. When we open any JPG or EPS file and attempt to edit the meta data it crashes Photoshop completely (before we can even attempt to save the file). It does not matter which meta data field we are editing it happens to all of them. Not sure what has changed on the system as we have not done any updates recently. Thought it might be a corrupt preference file but not sure which one to delete? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I can confirm that this is a user preference problem, as there is no problem on a newly created user account. However, deleting the 'obvious' preference files from ~/Library/Preferences (Adobe and Photoshop prefs and plists) has had no effect.
I have moved ALL preference files from ~/Library/Preferences, restarted and relaunched Photoshop. This has resolved the original Photoshop issue. I now have to reapply all of the other user preferences for all other applications/devices. (Resolving the original issue has probably created more work, but at least we can use Photoshop!)
It would be nice to hear if anyone has any idea which preference file may of caused the issue.
    Thanks.

  • Import Meta Data from CSV - Export Meta Data to CSV

Ability to import meta data into selected images from CSV file containing a number of fields, one of which is file name. The other fields would be selected tags to import.
Import logic would be, Where file name in column 1 matches current selected filename, then take following fields 2, 3, etc and import into Bridge.
Export selected meta data from selected files to CSV to form reverse of above to allow edit of data in Excel etc.
Further enchancement on import would be to allow instead of just filename, but date/time range matching.
Logic would be, Where date/time in column 1 is within X hours of selected
image creation date/time then import following fields into image meta data.
Useful for example if you already have a GPS tracklog in CSV and want to try and update images with GPS. Assuming camera clock approx same as GPS clock.

The issue was within the .csv file.  There were duplicate records that were attempting to load as the ID value.  After deleting the duplicate records, the transformation file ran successfully.

  • Meta data (song information) not updating in mini player for radio stream

I notice in the mini player view, the meta data does not update for radio streams.  This is a big deal for me because I listen to radio stations all the time, and I don't want to have to switch between the mini player and full player to see the song information.  This wasn't an issue in iTunes 10 (and previous versions as I recall), where I could just click to toggle between the name of the station and the meta information.

I understand your concerns, but regarding the headphone jack, this is standard procedure. While you may have checked these things, and know more about the player, a lot of people will not check the basic things before contacting support. The Advisors have to check these things with you first to make sure they've been checked.
As far as transferring data goes, it is true that unfortunately we cannot transfer data over for you or make a back-up. Doing this for all the returns for different players would require a lot of resources, time and money, making the RMA process a lot longer for everyone. In some cases, it's even necessary to replace the harddri've or the whole player.

  • No image preview in Bridge and unable to write meta data files

I recently converted my CR2 files to DNG files using the DNG converter. For the most part it worked. However, for some files, something went wrong. When I looked at a folder of newly converted dng files using Bridge, I noticed that some files didn't have a preview. These same files won't allow meta data to be written either. Are these files corrupt? What is wrong and how do I fix it? I tried to open these files in CR and they do open. Wierd thing is that if I open the file in CR, then click save file as dng, it will then show a preview in Bridge.

Yes. The original RAW file (CR2) allows me to write metadata. In fact, if I write the metadata to the CR2 file first, then convert to DNG, all the metadata is there - even for the files that at first do not have a preview in Bridge.
But the reason I'm converting to DNG is because I want my original archive files to be in a non-propriatory format.
Even though I can get around the current issues of no preview and writing metadata, my main concern is whether or not there is a problem with the conversion. I don't want to find out later that the file is corrupt. I'm worried that the issues with previewing and writing metadata are symptoms of some bigger problem.
    Any ideas?

  • Meta data values getting cleared from a document

    Hi,
I am having a document library with some word(.docx) documents which has quick parts in the documents. The meta data are displayed in the quick part. When the document is downloaded to desktop and uploaded to another document libray the meta data  in
quick parts is getting cleared.I need to retain the  data in the quick part. I came to know that by using site columns we can solve this issue. But as we cant change the existing sharepoint site it is not possible to use site columns. Can anybody help
    me on this?
    Thanks in Advance.
    Rahul.

    Hi Rahul,
Did you add the Managed Metadata column value to the document through the quick parts?
Per my test, if I downloaded and uploaded the document to another library, then the values of the managed metadata column added through the quick parts in the document were not cleared.
I recommend to check if there are same fields added in the quick parts in the two libraries and the field does not contain data in the other library for the document, so the value is cleared.
Could you please provide more details about the two library and the content type used?
    Best regards.
    Thanks

  • Large memo meta-data field not fully indexed

    Hi all,
Another day, another UCM question. Hopefully the answers given to my questions will help people facing the same issues.
We created a custom meta-data field of type memo. Looking into the database, the following columns were created:
    colmeta.xcustom1 varchar2(2000)
    docmeta.xcustom1 varchar2(2000)
    idctext1.xcustom1 varchar2(2000)
    idctext2.xcustom1 varchar2(2000)
    indexerstate.xcustom1 varchar2(2000)
We want specific meta-data field to hold 5000 characters and to have its content retrievable by the full text search feature. We've read about the MinMemoFieldSize and MemoFieldSize configuration variables, but reasoned that they shouldn't be used since the size requirement is only for this specific field.
So we've updated the database schema manually (can't seem to find another way to do this) by sending these instructions:
alter table colmeta modify xcustom1 varchar2(5000)
alter table docmeta modify xcustom1 varchar2(5000)
Then restarted the UCM server and performed a full collection index rebuild.
These updates work in that new content can be created with a meta-data value of up to 5000 characters (it would give an error before). However, it seems that the whole field value is not being indexed: doing a full-text search on a word in the first 2000 field characters finds the content, but doing a full-text search on a word in the last 3000 field characters doesn't.
We've tried manually extending the size of the idctext1, idctext2 and indexerstate columns, but it doesn't seem to have any impact.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks again.
