Metadata box content remains static once created?

Hello,
I started using the Metadata boxes for books. Unfortunately, I noticed that once a metadata box is created, it remains static. In other words, any subsequent change to the metadata information encapsulated in the picture is not reflected / updated in the Book.
Is there a "refresh" button that I'm not seeing? Please don't tell me I have to delete and re-create each box that have updated metadata information?

I get "live" updating of the metadata text in my book pages as soon as I finish entering the new text in the Metadata Inspector (ie, when I <tab> out of the Inspector's field.)
However, I'm using metadata boxes that are defined +and linked+ in a Master Page. Could that be the difference? Or did this change as of 3.1.1?

QUESTION: How to resolve failure of text-box tool to inactivate after use. Instead, creates numerous undesired text boxes.
I am using Adobe Reader 11.0.09 on a Mac with OS 10.6.8 (ancient). Under the Comment tab, the second set of tools has eleven "Drawing Markups." Typically, when a user has completed the use of one of the markup tools, the tool is no longer highlighted. In the recent past, the "Text Box" tool remains highlighted after creating a text box with keyed in text. The next click anywhere on the document creates ANOTHER undesired text box. Sometimes, when clicking within an existing text box to supplement/edit the text, two or more NEW text boxes are created within the original (i.e., because of a click at the location of desired text editing). Simply as a test, I examined the behavior of each of the eleven markup tools, and found that all but the pencil tool "inactivate" (un-highlight) after the drawing (e.g. a circle/oval or square/rectangle or arrow) is complete. QUESTION: Has anyone else observed that one or more "Drawing Markup" icons remain in the "active" status AFTER the mark-up drawing has been completed? If YES, did you find a fix for the annoying problem?

Moving metadata into content server

Hi Everybody,
     Does anybody have an idea on how the Metadata in KM can be moved to Content server ?
    What configuration steps to be done both from KM and Content server?
     And once metadata is moved to content server how the documents can be accessed in KM from this migrated metadata(Documents,content) In content server?
Could somebody help on this.....

Please refer to SAPNote "900571".
There is no specific way to move metadata into content server all CM Modes DBFS, FSDB metadata is always stored into Portal DB and I don't have much Idea for DB Mode....
If you want to store KM files into content server than its possible using DBFS & FSDB Mode but not possible to migrate metadata into content server

When I apply smoothing to a clip, it does nothing and the video frame remains static. As opposed to moving around in order to compensate for my movement, which exposes black edges. That is what I am trying to get. Please help
These are the steps I follow. Import clip > Library > Behaviours > Motion > Stabilize. I then add the stabilize > go to inspector and change method to smooth and finally, analyze. However, it is not doing anything. My Macbook Pro was recently replaced and this is what I recall doing on my previous one, but it doesnt seem to be working for me. Is there a step im missing or something?

Smooth is just going to smooth out a little "jitter" or jerkiness in the footage. Unless there is a lot of camera movement, you won't notice much. If you really want to see Motion go to work, change the Method to Stabilize.
BTW, once the footage is analyzed, you can make any changes you want to any of the other parameters - you don't have to re-analyze. I recommend Stabilize with Adjust: Position Scale and Rotation and Borders set to Zoom (depending on the quality of the video) — or you might consider adding a mask to the group the stabilized video is in

Hi,
Firstly an external content type designed to work with SharePoint list and there is no way to read apart from this.
If you are looking the solution out of the " Business Connectivity" then find that data source has been exposed through WCF and Web Service ?
So you can use REST API and CSOM to consume those data in SharePoint.
You can also leverage the ADO.NET option if the datasources based on MS technologies.

To be more precise: I am talking about the logging-in within the System Preferences on my iMac.
When trying to log in with the old ID, I get no access, i.e. it says "Try again"...-Trying the same with the new one gives me the result I mentioned in my first question...
Now I found out how to do it: I had to erase all accounts-then I could sign in with my Apple-ID. Thanks again.

Archive's list of contents could not be created

Just started having this problem today after running OS updates.
When I select a folder and create archive (file menu and contextual menu) I receive this error: "Archive's list of contents could not be created" and the zip archive fails to be created.
Tested empty folders, folders with various files, etc. and searched for answers here but couldn't find any similar posts.
Any help would be most welcome.

Repair permissions with Disk Utility, restart, and see if the problem persists. If so, create another admin user account, log into it, and try to make an archive.

Yes, it seems to be a kernel bug. Previously, my wife used Windows for years and nothing like this happened. Now, she tells a lot about Linux systems :-)

The icons for links are gone. In their place are hyphentated boxes. After I click on the link once the real icon comes back. But litterally EVERY link icon is now a hyphenated box till I click once. How can I fix this?

Those links now have hyphenated boxes as their icons not the Amazon icon. Once I click on an existing link the Amazon icon is activated and replaces the hyphenated boxes. Literally EVERY bookmark / link icon is now a hyphenated box till I click once. How can I fix this? I'm running Firefox 8.0 on windows XP. This problem started this week. Before and After upgrading to firefox 8.0 from 7.xxxx. See screen shot example.jpg i've attached below. Double click to enlarge it for better viewing. Any input welcomed. Not a major problem but I would like to have the icons back.

Thanks. That solved it. I had my doubts since I wasn't concerned about my lost bookmarks. I was concerned about the broken functionality. In any event, restoring from a backup solved both the functionality and the lost bookmarks. I appreciate the response!

Checking on item code once created

hi all,
anyway to check the material master field once material code created ?
I check the SAP SPRO, there is no configuration and BADI and exit to
check/validate Material master fields.
For example, once create material code, the procurement key is "F",
some of the fields in the MRP 4 view must be maintain like REM profile
and MRP controller.

SPRO --> logistics general --> MM --> Field selection --> here first see the field selection group for the field and then check the assignment...
If want to see the created material then you can check it in the table MARA in tcode SE16...

IPTC Info in Metadata Boxes?

When you add a new metadata box to page, is it possible to have that metadata box populate itself with the City/Country IPTC info?
I can't seem to find a way to change (add/remove) the metadata fields in the drop down menu.
I'm trying to make a contact sheet that includes the City and Country where each photo was shot.

The metadata is recorded by the camera. Aperture simply reads what data the camera recorded. I'd suggest you update your camera firmware, if an update is available. My experience with this is that the camera body manufacturer's lenses are often much more reliably identified.
Regardless, not all lens information is available for all cameras; it's currently a hit-and-miss technology.
I'd say don't worry about it much.

"t" toggles the Metadata Overlay Tooltip on and off.
Welcome to Aperture .
At some point soon you should customize all seven of the Metadata Overlays. Information on them is on this page in the User Manual.
I recommend adding all metadata fields to List View - Expanded. This is as close as Aperture provides to a spreadsheet view of your Images and their metadata. You can sort by any field.

Also, how the cross site publishing will work in SharePoint online something with managed navigations and product catalog apporach? if it is not supported, then what are the alternatives to acheive the same?

Normally you can find your serial registered to your AdobeId. To find it please login to the Adobe website and check if you did register it to your account.
Serial number, Redemption, and Product codes | Student & Teacher Editions
In general you will go true a educational verification afterwards you get the serial. So its in your email or account. If you still have issues get in contact with the chat team to get help.
