We have IS 4.2 SP2 environment. I am trying to add metadata integrator for BI Platform in CMC. I could able to add the integrator in CMC. But when i try to schedule it, it is failing. Looked at the log,

I ran the cmd with admin privilages. Found the cause of the issue. I need to specify the path of the Oracle jar file. I did , but i got a different error.

  • Transport for ECC and PI for proxy communication

We have both Outbound and Inbound scenarios between ECC and PI and developed accordingly. We also created both client and server proxy in ECC system. While transporting to the next system is there any dependency that first we need to transport the PI transport and then ECC transport. Or this is totaly independent that ECC transport will create the proxy automatically without having the ESR objects for te corresponding PI system.

    Hi,
There is no rule like first you need to transport PI stuff then Proxy code in ECC.
first you have to establish the connections(proxy communication) in new environment ,after that transport ABAP stuff and PI .
PS: don't forget to register queue's in ECC and PI.

  • UWL Integration for Material and Customer Repositories

    Hello all,
Has someone done the UWL Integration for Material or Customer repositories? Do we have to write own XML Configuration file for UWL and upload? or is that supplied by SAP somewherer for Material and Customer repositories?
Any pointers in this direction are highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Suman

    Hi Suman,
You can create your UWL Configuration file through UWL Cofiguration file wizard.
The path is navigate to System Administration  System Configuration   Universal Worklist – Administration.
Under Universal Worklist Content Configuration select Click to configure item types and customize views using a wizard.

  • Need to maintain same data in ECC and MDM

    Hi ,
Could you please tel me why we need to maintain same data in MDM and ECC seperately.
    Regards
    Ramya

    HI Ramyadixit,
It is important to understand that MDM and ERP do not replace eachother rather complement each other.
Using SAPu2019s ERP suite as the foundation technology for an MDM implementation is problematic because, despite all the positives of ERP, flexibility is usually not associated with SAP systems.
SAP ERP doesnu2019t offer the tools to manage master data in the ways required by todayu2019s complex organizations.SAP ERP isnu2019t designed for active management of critical master data. Specifically, SAPu2019s data matching capabilities are too basic. Its search functions might be good at u201Cexact matchu201D but they are not as strong at the kind of u201Cfuzzy searchingu201D that is so important in uncovering duplicate entries with subtle differences. For the same reason, users are far more likely to create new duplicate customer records in SAP, and thereu2019s no way to create a u201Cgolden copyu201D of master data for use across multiple heterogeneous systems, or to maintain survivorship rules for overlapping data from multiple systems.
These problems are all compounded when you have more than a single SAP instance, or different ERPs altogether, which is a very real occurrence within large corporations that have grown through mergers & acquisitions. Even without multiple ERP instances, most mid-size and larger national firms are likely to pull data from many different systems. In fact, 10 to 30 source systems is not uncommon, and heterogeneous environments are now the norm. The siloed approach to data management whereby customer-facing data is in one system, product data in another, asset data in a third, and so forth, really complicates the integration of processes, data and workflow.
A dedicated MDM hub provides a multitude of benefits not attainable with an SAP ERP-based master data approach. First, a dedicated MDM system is just that -- dedicated to delivering the best possible manageability of your master data across the enterprise, and not just within your ERP technology stack. The focus of any high-quality, enterprise-grade MDM hub implementation is going to be on getting master data right; creating a single source of truth, with each distinct customer, product, etc. represented only once in the hub. This means you can maintain accurate, complete, timely and consistent master data through both data governance and hub technology, with robust data quality and matching capabilities.
MDM and ERP need to coexist for instance as one solution does not replace the other. From an investment perspective, it is important to leverage existing technologies such as data quality, extract-transfer-load (ETL) and data integration tools, middleware, business process management and workflow.
To summarise, the top five reasons not to master your data in SAP ERP are:
    1. SAP ERP isnu2019t flexible enough.
    2. Master data is different and canu2019t be proactively managed within an SAP ERP system.
    3. SAPu2019s ERP products werenu2019t designed for active management of master data.
    4. Mastering data in an ERP system is much more difficult with more than one instance or when different ERPs are used together.
    5. An MDM hub creates a workspace between an organizationu2019s transactional and analytic systems meaning they fix it once and then extend it for use in back office systems and the data warehouse.
    Hope it helps!
    Thanks,
    Ravi

  • Supplier Registration in ESourcing  ( Vendor integration with ECC or MDM )

    Hi All,
SAP ESourcing has the functionality of Supplier Registration.  As per the functionality, Supplier will provide all the required information in the registration form. The Supplier form will go for approval to the Buyer / Purchaser. Once approved, the supplier will considered for RFx event. My questions are :
1 :Is there OUT OF BOX standard solution provided by SAP for integration of newly Approved supplier / vendor of ESourcing system  with ECC so that system will automatically create new vendor in ECC.
2 : Is there OUT OF BOX standard solution provided by SAP for integration of newly Approved supplier / vendor of ESourcing system with MDM (Master Data Management system ) .
Please through some pointer on this ?
    Regards,
    Kalandi

    Hi Kalandi
For your first question, if you deploy standard integration package provided by SAP  for e sourcing-ECC integration, you can replicate approved e sourcing vendor to ECC using  standard script (I think script name is  "Publish to ECC" ).
In case you prefer a custom option, you can write a customized script to get a flat file (.CSV) download of  e sourcing vendor whcih can be used to update ECC
As far as OUT OF BOX standard solution provided by SAP for integration of newly Approved supplier / vendor of ESourcing system with MDM (Master Data Management system ) is concerned, there is no standard solution provided by SAP but again since it is possible to get a CSV export of vendor field, it can be used to update MDM as well
    Hope this helps!

  • Integration between ECC and TM

    Hello guys,
Please, what I only need to confirm is if considering all the new functionalities in TM 9.1 and the Brazilian taxes, what is the essential EHP?
    Thank you,

    Hi Renato
It is not in the help document but as I know for Brazil localization is required release 6 EHP 7 SP 2. If you check the TM9.1 help document you will see that it covers all the BF required to for ERP logistic integration.
Thiago Bohn, would you confirm that? The help document contain only requirements for TM not for the ERP integration.

  • SRM-PI Integration for Supplier and Company Replication ( EBP-SUS Scenario)

    Dear Experts,
We are doing a scenario where we are trying to replicate the Company and the Vendors from EBP to SUS via tcode-

But these messages are failing in XI.
In XI the corresponding service interfaces are used -

    Hi All,
    I have resolved the issue.
it was a cache problem. I have changed the map, just edited description and activated  the map. Though it was a SAP standard Map. I have made the objects as modifiable from SWCV and all the messages are processed.

  • Integration for routering and bom

    Hi,all:
I want transfer master data from ERP to ME using standard MEINT.There are two problems:
1、ERP router is so different from ME, when I want to Integrate router, Shall I define all operations in ERP?
In fact,I don't want Integrate the router, I want to define the router in ME,and config the same fields with the standard MEINT(the reporting step, the control key and so on). If i do this, can i use the ERP Yield Backflushing collaboration,so i can send data automatic to ERP?
2、I don't want to send all bom component from ERP to ME. Is there any configeration in ERP for this. So i can send key components data to ME(the bom only contains key components).
    thanks for your appreciation!

    Hi Rama,
it seems that the supported tool for web site statistics is Tealeaf. Have a look at the documentation:

  • Using single repository for Customer and Vendor

    Hi All
Has anyone worked in scenario where a single repository was used to store both Customer and Vendor records? The source and Target systems are SAP ECC and MDM will have both Basic as well as contextual data.
I would like to know the likely challenges. Anyone who has worked on similar grounds can please share his viewpoints.
    thanks
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi,
As you want to manage both Cutomer and Vendor data in MDM you need to consider the following points:
    - If you are seeing the Customer and Vendor master as a combiantion satisfying some common criteria, then you can go about using the SAP delieverd Business partner rep which is designed keeping the ECC customer and Vendor details to an extent. You can unarchieve the BP rep in MDM and have a look at its data modelling if it serves your purpose.
    - As of MDM 5.5 we do not have provision of holding two master records in a single rep as we can use only 1 main table. So if you want to fit in your customer and vendor masters in one rep you will have to accomodate the combined fields under a single rep with proper data modelling.
    - You need to store your two masters in two separate rep and perform data modelling in such a way that your one rep hold those common fields which you wish to use for finding duplicates as mentioned in your above req and then store this information with the complete rest in a dfferent rep.So its a 2 rep concept as possible with teh current MDM version.
    - I am not very sure of this method but i think we have a provision of calling and linking data from two rep and display them as one to work upon them through EP.
    Hope It Helped
    Thanks & Regards

  • Velocity Displcement Calibration for Sound and Vibration Tool Kit

    Hello Guys,
I have been working on sound and vibration tool kit recently.
I'm taking input from sound port of PC by signal generator and taking single and double Integration for velocity and displacement resp.
I want to check the correctness of the values for different amplitudes, and different frequencies of signal, velocity and displacement.
The RMS values for signal is calibrated as per signal generator, RMS value for the Velocity is correct for a limited frequency range
and the RMS value for the displacement is not at all calibrated for any of the frequency.
    I will appreciate replies,

    Hey guys,
    The following vi is working
for the signal generated with in Labview but if the signal is taken
from mic port through signal generator.
then the velocity and displacement is not coming.

  • Music metadata editor for S60 5th

Is there a musin metadata editor for MP3 and/or AAC (ID3, etc) that runs on S60 5th?
Since the player is so dependant on metadata to organize stuff it would be good to have one editor in the phone itself for the ocasional update.
     Regards

    Yes.
    It's called the Music Player
Open the Music Player then go to Options -> Song Details
You can also add Album Art there if you want.

  • EEWB BUPA - relevance for ECC

I try to enhance BP in CRM 5.0 with EEWB. These fields should be also generated in ECC 6.0.
EEWC customizing is correctly. Enhancements for Business Transaction works fine.
When I generate the extension via wizard in CRM everything is ok, I have only a flag for BW relevance, but not for R/3.
    Any idea?

    Hi Andreas
You need to maintain the settings for the logical systems for ECC (and similarly for Mobile), if you want to generate fields in the connected systems. Note 649336 and following is describing what settings you need to make in order to have the boxes displayed.
    Hope this helps,
