Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

    Hi Becki ..
You need to "authorize" the Mac.
Launch iTunes on the Mac then from the iTunes menu bar top of your screen click Store > Authorize This Computer.
Now, using the same Apple ID as you used to purchased iTunes media originally, you should be able to sync all your content.

My MacBook Pro, running on Lion, randomly flashes with crazy lights and colors. Doesn't happen often, but when it does it's totally random. It looks like the Northern LIghts!!!
What causes this problem and how can I solve it?

Really? Oh I get it. You're the kind of person who goes on tech message boards to make jokes - or friends.
Well, I'm trying to solve this problem - which is a rather annoying way to spend a Saturday.
SO either help or don't reply.

If you share an Apple ID, both of your phone numbers should be linked to that ID. You should be able to use your phone number as well. My wife, my daughter and I all share an Apple ID for purchases, and we each text from our iOS devices using our own iPhone numbers.
When iOS 6 came out, you were able to link the phone number with your Apple ID to use for Messages and FaceTime. You will need to sign out of messages on all devices and then start the process all over again.
    Take a look at this.

  • What's this problem on 10.3.183.5?

    Hi there.
I faced a problem on new versoin of flash player after update it.
This problem is that the new player can't load flash.display.Shape object in my swf file.
That swf file was even though made by haxe & swfmill but it had been used continuously before update.
After all, I found a solution for this problem but I can't understand still now why it has been done by the new versoin.
My solution is changing a Shape to a MovieClip, that's it. After that all problems was cleaned.
Why does this problem? Let me know the reason. Please answer to me.
    Best,
    Kevin

    Hi Kevin,
Can you send me a copy of your before and after swf so I can test it out internally ([email protected])?  Better yet, I'd recommend adding a new bug over at bugbase.adobe.com and include the swf's there.  Please post back with the bug URL.  Flash Player shouldn't have broken your existing content so we'll want to dig further into this.
    Thanks,
    Chris

  • Adobe assistant says (error 100) please help what fixes this problem?!?

Hi I've tried to download the trials for a few programs to see if I'd like to upgrade to CS5.  Everytime I restart the download assistant it asks me to sign in and when i put in my user name/password it says theres a problem connecting to the adobe.com website (error 100).  I've restarted my computer, the assistant several times as well as checked my internet connection and keep getting the same error.  My user name/password is obviously correct as I'm able to sign into adobe.com sans the download assistant just fine to write this complaint.  Is there a fix for this problem?!?  please help and any feed back is appriciated thanks!

Hi thanks for the link above.
I cleared all the cookies, dissabled my virus protection even, redownlaoded the download assistant/refreashed the pages several time and still no luck :[
The assistant downloader still pops up us an error 100 when I try and sign in this is very frustrating.
Do you know of anything else that can fix this?!? As I know it is not a connection error.
    Kindly,
    Antonia

  • What caused this problem (see example photo)?

I have discoved one shoting session whereby almost 50% of the shots have this solid rectangle as part of the raw file. Out of thousands of sessions and photo's, this folder is the only one with this problem.   These rectangles are all about the same size on each photo, but occur in different locations within the photo.  I don't think this is one just a corrupt file, but perhaps a error I unknowly made when looking at them when i used to use PhotoShop. (now using LR)
Does anybody have any idea's on how one would somehow make this kind of mistake?  j
PS - I have never done anything in Photoshop real complicated.  Always just simple basic shapening or other small adjustments.

Hal/Andrew:   Thanks for your replies.  Actually this was only one example of another 9 or 10 with this same problem in this folder.  The folder has about 10 good shots and 10 shots like this example.  This folder contains shots that were taken last year and the original compact flash that they were from was reused many times with 100's of shots since then with none corrupt in any way.   It was only this one folder that had this problem and only about half of these with this similar rectangle problem.  Of the twenty of so shots in this folder, the problem was completely random with one or two shots good and then next shot or next 5 or six shots were like this example, then then next shot was good and so on.

  • Screen is white, what does this problem note mean?

My screen went blank and was shaking but recovered on button shutdown and restart ... several days later it went to white/gray vertical lines with same recovery... today it went blank and will not recover... the apple and the progress circle did appear but then nothing else.
Immediately after recovering from the 2nd incident this message appeared, which I grabbed (and sent to Apple). Can someone tell me what the problem likely is or, at least, whether it is one with hardware or software?

Sorry, that is the wrong OS ... I am on the latest version of Mavericks.
Also, searching "white screen" I have now learned it is likely due to a "kernel panic" most often caused by conflicting software ... ( I just updated OS X, Numbers, Pages, and Keynote + WindowMizer ... and still had the old iWorks folder in the App folder ... could be other cause though too. )
Here is the most helpful article I found:
    file:///Users/michael/Desktop/OS%20X-%20When%20your%20computer%20spontaneously%2 0restarts%20or%20displays%20%22Your%20computer%20restarted%20because%20of%20a%20 pr….webloc
If you get in this case that explanatory window, don't choose the "more info" option because you will just get the obscure message I posted ... rather, choose to let the conflicting software be automatically trashed. Otherwise you cannot get back to that option, and/or can't get back to your desktop, and would have no idea what the conflict was.

  • HELP!! Can anyone tell me what causes this problem?

I will paste a link below to a screen grab I took of my desktop. I've never seen this before. Could you please tell me what this could be? The best way I could describe it is to describe it as warping effect on various windows.
This has occurred when using photoshop, after effect, illustrator, the OS. Basically I've seen it occur on just about every type of browse window viewable on the Mac.
I reformatted the mac and it still occurs.
I am using a MacPro 2 x 3 GHz Quad Core with 16 GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500. I have an internal 750 GB HD for the OS and 4x750 GB internal RAID for storage. (I do a lot of video work.)
    Here's the link:

    Thanks,

PS> Even if you have no clue what this is, can you please let me know if you have seen it before or not?? I am completely lost. Help me Obi Wan Kenobi... you're my only hope.

Afraid I haven't seen that before. The only thing I could suggest is to boot from the 1st Install disk and run the hardware test. I would wonder about the video card. You might also post in the MacPro forum. I just got MY MacPro today, and the MacPro Forum is where I would go:
    http://discussions.apple.com/category.jspa?categoryID=194
The only other thing I can think of is to launch Console from the Utilities folder and see if any errors are being reported.
