Metadata View User Presets NOT Plugin Author Tagsets
Sorry, but I really don't like how the metadata viewing options work.
Metadata viewing presets should be definable by users, instead of the plugin author defining tagsets.
In my opinion, plugin authors should be able to give structure to their metadata, but its the users that should decide which of it they want to see with what...
For example, a plugin author can't define a tagset that includes all the adobe standard metadata, plus whatever the user wants from other plugins, plus his/her stuff with some structure - nor can the user.
Maybe just have the different sections of metadata be collapsible, just like the top level items in the panel, then we'd hardly need tagset/presets at all, just collapse the ones you want out of your way...
Maybe user tagset/presets just exclude some items that aren't of interest, to keep it a little cleaner, rather than plugin authors having to specifically include stuff, and that being the only way to structure the metadata that's presented.

User Presets not saved correctly
I am trying to set up specific 3 User Presets to export files to a given file location.
But when I return to user presets LR only shows *one* of the 3 locations used and that is set against each of the 3 presets.
Q: This looks like a bug, as I cannot seem to save the different file locations to a different user preset... or am I doing something wrong ?
(LR 5.6 on Mac OS 10.9)Even I try to Right Click the preset and use the UPDATE WITH CURRENT SETTINGS, this is not working.

User presets not working after LR5 upgrade
Just updated from LR3 to LR5 and my user presets are not working. They are visible, but do not do anything when clicked. How do I fix this?
We have found the same thing. Patch 5 and 7 did not fix the problem. We even got a preliminary patch 8 that did not fix the problem.
We're still hoping for an EBF. -

i executed the JOB of SYNK of users, the Job of RISK analysis and the JOB of update of management Report .
When i go in - Management View - User Analisys -( i select date , System , User Group ) Virsa CC shows me the correct number of users actually in the system, for this user group , according to USR02 SAP table , BUT Users with NO Violations and Users With Violations are not correct.
I show results:
No. of Users Analyzed : 25 CORRECT
Users with no Violations : 95 379% NOT CORRECT
Users with Violations : -70 -279% NOT CORRECT
The Interactive pie chart shows the correct number of users with violations : 2
Who it' s possible ?

You stated in your initial comment that the Management Report check box was NOT selected? If this is the case then the graphs on the informer tab have not been updated. You must first execute the SOD (user/role/profile) analysis, once that job is complete then execute a separate job for the management reports. This will then update the informer tab (given that your rule set has been updated with your custom functions and risks). -
Import - user preset not applied 'fully'
This is update of problem reported in previous entry 'duplicate imports'. Have now tracked the cause of this observation.
The problem dates back to at least Lightroom 3.
I use different import presets for my set of cameras so that the file name reflects the camera.
I also have pairs of presets where the only difference is that a duplicate backup is created or not.
On my PC the default path for backup files has the drive letter of my card reader.
What I notice is that if I select the 'backup' preset then change my mind and select the 'non-backup' preset the flag enabling the creation of a backup copy remains selected. On then proceeding with the import a backup copy is made on the card using the default path.
This is not normally a problem as I then re-format the card in the camera, but it could be a problem if the card is nearly full as the backup copy process will fail due to lack of space on the card.
This became apparent because I initially imported files into my LR3 catalogue and thus unknowingly created duplicates on the card.
Then on importing into my LR4_beta catalogue two copies of each file appeared, the original in the location set by the camera and the duplicate/backup created by LR3. The import dialog does not show paths on cards so it is not apparent that the duplicate files are in different folders.
This looks like a bug in the handling of presets, that some settings, in this case the flag to enable backup file creation, are not updated on selecting the preset.
The pairs of preset names are similar eg c41_backup and c41_nobackup.
For the softies benefit I also note that if I select the 'non backup' preset for a different camera the flag does get cleared, suggesting the bug is something to do with recognising a change of pre-set.
I have not checked but this may be the cause of other mysterious import issues.

Take one image into the Develop module, press and hold the Shift key and the "Reset" button bottom-right will change to "Reset (Adobe)", then click on that button. Does the image reset to the way you expected it? If so, you've (inadvertently) changed the default develop settings, to reset them go to Develop menu>Set Default Settings>click on "Restore Adobe Default Settings". -
User presets not rendering in the LR2 app. They are still in the folders though. What do I need to do to get them to show in the application again?
I realize I need to upgrade, but it's not in the budget now. Have restarted the machine to no avail.
I have not used the app in a month, but the last time I used it, the presets were all available in the drop-down menus on the develop module. ??Have you by any chance recently selected the option on the Preferences>Presets Tab to "Store Presets with Catalog". If so, uncheck it and see if your user presets appear again. If you're not sure, toggle that switch off and on (or on and off) and see if it makes a difference (Presets will appear/disappear instantly when toggling that switch).

According to your post, my understanding is that the read only user could not see the list view web part.
Per my knowledge, the issue may be cause that the user do not have the proper permission for the list.
1. Check whether the user can access the list.
2. Check whether the user can view all the items instead of partial items in the list.
3. Check whether there are some fields refer to other lists or terms, especially the lookup field or managed metadata filed.
If that is the case, make sure the user can access the lookup list.

Hi All,
I get the below error when i load my xsjs file in browser,

I am able to execute the same query in HANA SQL editor
Please note that ,No Analytical privileges are applied to the view.

try the following.
Before executing the query , display it and copy the same from browser and execute in SQL editor.
Put the statement in a try catch block and analyse the exception .

Unable to use Datasource.cfc in Admin API - The current user is not authorized to invoke this method

I am having some issues accessing the methods in the datasource.cfc in the adminAPI.
I can successfully load the administrator CFC and am told that I have successsfuly logged in;
But when I try to subsequently load the datasource.cfc I get an error that the current user is unable to access the method.

and I agree I don't have "E" drive either!I've found a solution to my plight - I don't know if it'll work for you or help you try something that MAY fix it.
I use a common code set which includes the Application.cfc from a CF Mapping - So, in the application.cfc in the actual website I do this:-

Then, in the /UberDirectory/Application.cfc, I was initialising a CFC which checks if the datasource was created for the website. The datasource checking code attempts to log into the Admin API and check & create if necessary the datasource.
This has previously worked without fail for me - But in this instance it failed!! I was doing two things wrong - Firstly, the CFC should only be called in the Application.cfc in the onRequestStart section as the Application had to be initialised first - This is maybe because I've invoked the application.cfc in a "non-standard" manner.
Secondly, once I'd moved the CFC invocation into oNRequestStart I saw the following error:-
The string COOKIE.CFAUTHORIZATION_uber-directory is not a valid ColdFusion variable name.
I had this as the app name .... <cfset this.name = 'uber-directory'>
Changedthe dash to an underscore and I was away and could once again check the datasources

Shared Services Console - User is not authorized for the action
Hi,
I have installed Essbase 11.11.3 and configured on Linux. I started EPM and then the Shared Services Console. I created a new group Poweruser and assigned a new user to it. I provisioned the group withall the rights of the admin. This all works.
When I log on with the new user on the Shared Service Console and go to Essbase Studio Server and click on the Essbase Studio Server application it gives me the message:
User is not authorized for the action
This is the same message as I get under the user admin. Can anyone tell me what I can possibly do to make it work.
The service for EAS is started properly. The one thing that is not configured is HBR.

1. As you said you are in coexistence step , so for now all endpoint already point to Exchange 2010 right?
2. Check legacy owa redirect that you already configure
3. In Exchange 2010 , Make sure that you already configure "Autodiscoverinternaluri" by this command set-clientaccessserver -identity "servername" -autodiscoverinternaluri
https://autodiscover.domain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml. and don't forget to create autodiscover record in DNS
4. in Exchange 2010 , Make sure that you already configure "EWS" path by this command set-webservicesvertualdirectory -identity "XXX\Default web site name" -internalurl

I have a reqt where i have to create auth on 2 info object namely location and region. I have done following steps but when i run the query i get "user is not authorized" error
1: Made location authorization relevant and in navigational attribute checked region as authorization relelvant
2: In rsecadmin , created analysis authorization for location and region specifying the value and also provided the 3 other 0TCT* auth.
3: Creater a role with auth object s_rs_auth and assigned the created analysis auth. Also added 2 auth object s_rs_comp with full auth except display and execute and s_rs_comp1 since queries are build by other person
4: assigned this role to the user
5: when i run the query i see the reqd 5 location and 1 region in variable input help but when i execute it gives me "user is not authorized" error.
Please let me know if i miss any step or how can i get the data

It is possible with Analysis authorization. You're just probably missing something...
First of all realize that in your first step:
1: Made location authorization relevant and in navigational attribute checked region as authorization relelvant
assigning a characteristic as authorizationRelevant and assigning an attribute as authorizathionRelevant are two distinct things.
So please check the authorization created under RSECADMIN that you've included authorization for the characteristic "location" and also for the characteristic "location__region" (and not for "region"!)
If so you do have to check what is missing:
check transaction RSECADMIN -> Analysis -> Execute as... to analyze the system authorization check.
Please test that... It would show the sql code that lacks for authorization, there you can see what characteristic (and values accessed and assigned) are missing.

I created user with roles SAP_BC_USER_ADMIN and SAP_BC_AUTH_DATA_ADMIN. But user can not add roles to another user, and i get error "User USR_ADM is not authorized for RFC1".

Error running Web Services in DEMO : User is not Authorized error

We created a Web Service in our DEMO installation of ERP9 Tools 8.97, Database Local SSE (User - DEMO, Password-DEMO). The Web Service is using JDE Vanilla BSFN - B0100021 - Formatted Address and created through JDeveloper using JDE BSSV tool.
When we are running the Web Service (TestCustomWebService) from JDeveloper (Right Click and Run) it is providng an url (http://moequbal:8988/context-root-JP55HOL/TestCustomWebServiceSoapHttpPort) and when we are pasting the URL in the browser and entering a valid value in the Input field and pressiing the 'Invoke' Button, the following Error pops up -

TufanI can confirm that the lab and BSSV functionaly works in DEMO, I have it working nicely. However, I dont think you can deploy this to a Business Services server. I haven't tried as yet. but you can test all the published BSSV via jDeveloper to verify that you have the correct code. It starts O4CJ and web services locally and brings up an input web page to enter the AN8, the data outputs to XML.
Tip:
1) Make sure that you have an entry in the P00950 security workbench. .
2) make sure that you select the BSSV item (i.e CustomAddressManager) and select 'set to publish' available (this only appears on checkin) when you check the object in. Make sure that you have entries in the F98601, 602, 603 tables in Object Librarian
3) Open P00950 select published bssv, click on the grid line (1st column) in the grid form of W00950X click the searchlight, in W00950U hit find you must see your published BSSV in here.
if not you go back to step 2. You must 'set to publish' for the bssv i.e CustomAddressManager object. Otherwise you will not be able to see in the W00950U form.
4) Repeat for the 2nd column and Make sure you select the 'Secure by Method' this will take you to W00950Y form and you must select your bssv and select the 'Allow Execute' on the bottom of the form.
Once you have these in place then you will not get the 'Not authorized' error messages.

How to restrict user to not switch other view in infopath form.
I created two views. both we can see when we open in infopath form in drop down list.
But I want to restrict this for some users or group.
If one user will open infopath form he will not be able to switch other view and other user open he can switch both view.You should be able to do this. Try the following:
1.) create a button somewhere in your form (choose a spot you like) - I put mine in the top of form.
2.) label it Card Access Letter View if you are on View 1 and then add another button to CardAccessLetter and call it view 1
3.) create a data connection to get the current user info from Profile Services -

4.) create a hidden text box "Currentusername" and set a form load rule to populate the hidden text box with the current user's name using profile services "Preferred Name".
5.) create another text box that is hidden and call it something like ViewChangeFlagOK. Set the default value to false
6.) click on the form load rules box and create a new rule. name the rule and then enter your conditions: Currentusername is equal to "enter user name" or (repeat as needed) . Rule type = Action. Set a fields value to ViewChangeFlagOK =
True
7.) Navigate back to your button you created and add a rule. Condition = View changeflagok is not equal to true, Hide this control.
add another rule to the button. condition= Rule runs when button is clicked- Switch to other view.
this should solve your problem. Appropriate users will be able to switch views using a button, not the ribbon control, but should solve your problem nonetheless.
