Meter Levels stuck and won't record!!!!!!

OMG! This just aggrivated the world outta me...
Im running Adobe Audition CS6 through my Macbook Pro 2009 Core2Duo Intel system, with a Digidesign MBOX 2 mini.. everythings hooked up correctly, and i have all the necessary drivers selected within the program as far as input/output.. but when i press the [R] to record, before i can press "record" in the transport, the meter levels shoot up and once i start recording.. nothing is recorded!!! everything was just working fine 15 minutes prior to me going through these shananigans! Someone please help me through this craziness!

Sounds as though the driver for the Mbox has failed. Try restarting the machine and see if that fixes it - and also check to see if Dodgydesign have an updated driver - you never know...

New Mini - Firewire plug is stuck and won't come out

Hi,
This is a virtually new Mac Mini; A firewire plug from my 20" Cinema display is stuck in the firewire port and won't come out. (I'm trying to disassemble this mini to move to another location.)
I'm trying very hard not to pull too hard because I don't want to damage the firewire port. But I don't know what to do - it's just stuck and won't come out.

Well, I finally got it out after fiddling with it, and walking away several times. I had to make sure I didn't damage it, so I approached it very gingerly.
How did I get it out? It's amazing what actually worked. What worked was grasping ONLY the firewire chord about 1 to 2 inches away from the plug and pulling Only on the chord straight out.
Doing it this way, it popped out with very little resistance. Strangely, the Apple Cinema Display firewire plug almost seems to click when you plug it in.
So I immediately tested a generic firewire plug (non-Apple related) and it plugged in and pulled out with no problems or resistance whatsoever.
"This completes my test of the Apple Cinema Display Firewire plug." (a joke there)

Pushed restore button with itunes and now it seems stuck and won't reinstall software

Believe it or not, if the power button is not related to a more serious issue. You can take it to an Apple Store, remember to set a genius appointment at http://www.apple.com/retail/, and get it unstuck for free, or call 800-676-2775 for help. If its more of an issue, they will tell you at the store and how much it will cost to repair if your device isn't under warranty. Also, you can trade it in for credit toward a new ipod touch. My middle button for the iPhone 3GS seems stuck or sticky and won't respond. Voice control keeps popping up because the iPhone thinks I am pushing the middle button to make it do the voice control. Any advice on what to do?

I'm sorry to hear that your phone is having data and power issues. That's never awesome! smashogre had a great tip, too. I hope it has worked for you. If not, I do recommend an alternative reset to return the phone to the factory settings. HT201412 Home button is stuck and won't press down or respond?

All of a sudden my homebutton will not work. It seems like it is stuck and it wont click or press down at all. For a few minutes when this started I could press really hard and it would work, but now it won't even do that. HELP!!!!!!!!

How full is the phone? Check settings, general usage. If the phone is full, back up, and then reset your phone to remove corrupt files and old text and phone logs. Then restore from backup.
Are you in Apples family sharing group?
Is your Apple ID and password correct in settings? sign out, and sign back in.

CD is stuck and won't load or eject, what should I do?

I inserted a cd into my macbook and it won't load and won't eject. It just keeps making the noise like it's trying to load. I tried turning my computer on and off but that didn't help. Any suggestions?

I downloaded OS 2.0 (originally had 1.0.8 installed) and after download PB wanted to restart so I clicked restart....
Now PB is stuck and just displays 'Blackberry Playbook' and the background color changes ...but nothing happens....I left it for a few hours but still no luck....I tried restarting it but when it boots up it's still stuck on the same page...
I tried to connect it to Device manager 7 and reset it to factory setting or downgrade the OS but Device Manager deosn't recognize the device.
Please help...what should I do now?

Installer is stuck and won't let me restart my computer!

So I was installing a program, the installer was tuck on running package scripts. I force quit the applicaion's installer but then when I tried to install another application it wouldn't let me. I'm trying to restart my mac but an installation in progress window keeps showing up and won't let me restart.

My backup gets stuck and won't finish?

I am trying to backup my old phone and my current computer, and both get "stuck" during the upload, even though I bought more storage.

This may be caused by a corrupt existing backup that needs to be deleted, or by data on your device that is causing the backup to fail. To troubleshoot these, try deleting your last iCloud backup (if you have one) by turning off iCloud Backup in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup, then tap Manage Storage, tap your device under Backups, then tap Delete Backup. Then go back and turn iCloud Backup back on and try backing up again.
If it still won't back up, you may have an app or something in your camera roll that is causing the backup to fail. To locate which one, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of your device under Backups, under Backup Options tap Show All Apps, then turn them all to Off (including camera roll) and try backing up again. If the backup is successful, then the camera roll and/or one of your apps is causing the backup to fail and you'll have to located by process of elimination. Turn the camera roll On and try backing up again. If it succeeds, turn some of your apps to On and try backing up again. If it succeeds again, turn some more apps to On then try again; repeat this process until it fails. Eventually you'll be able to locate the problem app and exclude it from your backup.

CD stuck and won't eject

I inserted a cd in my Macbook Pro but it has stuck in. The CD icon is not shown on the screen either. Finder hangs up when I open it. Please can someone help. Many thanks, Monireh

Mini Disc stuck and won't eject!

My friend just stuck one of those mini-disc things into my DVD/CD slot. (You know, those mini versions of a cd)..anyway, I've tried doing what Disc Utility said to but its not working...PLEASE HELP!!

Your best option...
Get a thick piece of paper and fold it in half.
Tear that in half and stick it in all the way.
Try to get that behind the disc.
It should pop right out.

HELP phone seems stuck and won't turn on or off

Hi....I JUST got this phone....Saturday the 21st. I have been having issues where I have no internet unless I have wifi. I don't have the little 3g or 4g symbol at all and anytime I try to get online I can't unless it's in wifi. Admittedly I could have done something that caused that, but I have bigger problems at the moment. I thought that maybe I could turn my phone off and then turn it back on again and maybe that would fix my 3g/4g issue, well NOW it turns on and says flashes DROID like it's going to start up, but that's all it does and it won't turn off or go completely on! I'm thinking that I need to take it in and get a new phone, but maybe there's something I can do...any suggestions? Thanks
