Hi
I have another question in mehtod changes. In period 1 my investment in the subsidiary is 30. So the COI mehtod is equity in period one and it is first consolidation. In period 2 i have acquired another 25% with the result my investment has gone beyond 50% so the method is Purchase now. My question in the reported data, the additional acquistion should be represented as first acquistion or step acquisition. Appreciate an answer.

I've tried different methods: changing passwords, making a new account with another email address, and emailing itunes tech support. I am curious as to how many others have been experiencing the same issue. When I googled the error, it seemed like it was happening extremely often with many people.
We all love their products, but they always come with a lot of issues and horrible customer support.

My Iphone 4 is telling me the same thing and I believe I figured out what the problem is. I had some fraudulent charges on my itunes account, so I call my bank and disputed the charges. Right after I did that, I started getting the message "Your apple ID has been disabled." I just realized today that the charges are not fraudulent, they are "in app purchases." One of my daughters downloaded the game Top Girl which is FREE, but in the game Top Girl you use money in the game to purchase things. It just so happens that the money you use to purchase things is real money MY Money!!!. My daughter thought she was using play money in the game and had no idea she was using real money. She spent $106.00 buying stuff. Now I have to call the bank and tell them to release the hold and pay Itunes. I'm hoping this solves the problem. Problem in testing UI add-on after login method changes

Dear All Experts/Gurus,
I have changed login method to a new one of a UI Add-on (because I just have SDK implementation version license). Using add-on identifier generator, I generate the add-on identifier string and put on the source code :

After recompile it, I want to prove it by sending it to other friend's (work mate) PC/notebook with different license and hardware key. The error message when installing/starting the add-on is :
Runtime error '-7200 (ffffe3e0)':
Connection - Connection string doesn't match UI development work mode.
If the error happened, I just guessed that the login method change is success. I also read the SAP new license mechanism states that if the add-on is developed using SDK implementation version, it will only be able to install/use in the customer network PC and so on, ....etc.
The problem is that I am not fully sure if my guess is correct. I want to conduct some testing. I tried to request new temprary license with compatibility license is over within 2 days, but unsuccessful. Would you please to tell me if there is another way to prove/test that the add-on will be able to start after the compatibility license for add-on expires ?

The AddOnIdentifier you obtain by selecting Development or Implementation options while creating the AddOnIdentifier depends on the license manager.
If you change the license manager to another machine or someone connected to a different license manager try to run your code you it will not work.

Development License
This license is required for partners developing add-ons and the only license allowing distribution. In Development license, the license key is shared by all developers connected to the same License Service. The License Service allocates licenses on the basis of first-come, first-served.
Implementation License
This license is required for customers intending to develop small modifications or add-ons for their own use using only the UI API.
Add-ons developed under the Implementation license cannot run with a different License Service other than the one that was used for their development. The Implementation license does not allow
distribution to third-parties.

Update Contract Account in Background - BOR "ISUACCOUNT" Method "Change"

Hi Experts,
We are trying to update the "Dispatch Control" & "Alternative Bill Recipient" fields on the Contract Account in background.
We are using BOR - "ISUACCOUNT" and Method - "Change". The Method is unable to update the field values but not giving any error or exception.
Please sussest if someone has worked on such scenario before.

Amortization of Goodwill after method change

Hi all,
Need some help.
It is not really clear to me how does BCS take into account (equity-method)goodwill, and further more - amortization of goodwill, in/after Method Change activity.
Business scenario
Step 1.
Company "A" (equity - 1000 monetary units) is consolidated using equity method (25%) since Q4/2005 (parent company invested 4000 monetary units).
Step 2.
At the end of Q4/2006 method change takes place, equity to purchase (25% --> 51%).
Step 3.
At the end Q4/2007 parent company increases its ownership in company "A" (51% --> 60%).
Customizing
- COI method "METH1" utilizes equity method as an accounting technique. Acquisitions - group shares. Extraordinary amortization of goodwill
- COI method "METH2" utilizes purchase method as an accounting technique. Acquisitions - group shares. Ordinary amortization of goodwill, starting next Q, during 20 years.
Expected behavior
Step 1.
Equity-method goodwill arises (3750 monetary units).
Step 2.
"New" goodwill arises (3910 monetary units) from 26% (25% --> 51%).
Method changes from "METH1" to "METH2".
Next Q (Q1/2007) goodwill (3750 + 3910) is amortized - 95,75 (over 20 years, per Q).
Step 3.
"New" goodwill arises from 9% (51% --> 60%) and amortized next Q.
"Previous" is amortized.
Reality bites...
Step 1.
Equity-method goodwill arises (3750 monetary units).
Step 2.
"New" goodwill arises (3910 monetary units) from 26% (25% --> 51%).
Method changes from "METH1" to "METH2".
Next Q (Q1/2007) goodwill remains the same - goowdwill is not amortized.
Step 3.
"New" goodwill arises from 9% (51% --> 60%).
Only the newly arised goodwill (9%) is amortized next Q.
"Previous" is still not amortized.
Is it "standard" behavior?
What causes the difference in Steps 2 and 3?

It's a complicated question that might be answered, IMHO, only by people who experienced the situation. Or by those who make some experiments in the system. Looks like there is nobody who have or did this. Sorry!

LSMW Direct Input Method - Change Documents

Hello experts,
Could anyone please tell me how to enable the change documents(not just runtime) for LSMW direct Input method? There is also one option "Change Documents" in the last step of the process, will this write into any table that I see the changes later If I run the last step with selected this option? If yes, What are the application (customer master data, vendor master data, material master data, etc) specific tables?
Is there anyway that I could populate this method changes into the CDHDR & CHPOS tables?

Since this tool writing data into database tables directly skips the CDHDR & CDPOS recording..
Is there any other possible way for the complete change logs (change pointers???)? ( Or only table logging?)

Consolidation- Method changes

During method change whether the documents are posted automatically or manually? Further whether these documents needs to be inversted at the subsequent period ....

Since you'll switch to Equity method, then, yes, for Equity Adjustments.
Flags:
DABP - Switching immediately at the beginning period. RE for this period is not taken into account.
DAEP - RE is apportioned according to Purchase method. Then goes switch to Equity.
For the half month with Purhase method the Parent company earned its share of RE of divested company. So, IMHO, if you set DABP then calculate and add some more equity adjustment, IF DAEP - deduct some.
Of course, you should estimate the impact of switching methods on increase or decrease in your parent company net profit.

Input Methods changing without permission

Hi everybody.
I use a personalized keyboard mapping. I've created it with Ukelele, put it into ~/Library/Keyboard Layouts and selected it in the System Preferences (so only my account can use this layout). Perfect.
Now, the issues:
If I use the “fast user switching” in the menu bar, my own Input Method is reverted to the default French input method. I think that is normal for this window, but if I cancel the user switching, the default French input method remains and I have to manually switch back to my personalized keyboard layout.
The same thing happens when I play “Warcraft III”: the input method is changed to the default French layout as soon as the game is launched. How can I change this behavior ?

ABAP proxy method change - from which version?

for some new abap proxies when generating them inside
SPROXY methods like EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONOUS
are no longer available - it's fine I can use the message interface name
as the method and the call works fine

but does any of you know from which version this works like that?
any SP level or patch level? (any OSS note mentioning it maybe)?
I just need the document (or link) that mentions - from this version

It came with SAP_BASIS SP14, the same release were SAP introduced the proxy generation for PI 7.1 service interfaces with several operations. This was the reason for the change.
The PI systemis not relevant, but the SP level of the component SAP_BASIS of the application system.
I am sure if there is any documentation availble for this change. I read about this change in SDN forum

We're working on Consolidation Consulting Project.
We've faced consolidation problem, Some entities' consoldiation method was changed to Subsidiary from Equity Method.
Please let me know how to keep working this project in this case.
(about requiring data processing or dimension, business rule setting. etc)

I was pertaining to the Entities with ID that starts with "E". Anyway, I tried removing the values "Y" for property "ELIM" in the Entity dimension and removed the values for "ENTITY" and STORE_ENTITY in the Groups dimension and I don't encounter the error and consolidation calculates okay.

Default Framework page Isolation method changed

We changed the Isolation method to URL instead of embedded on all of the iviews in the Default Framework page.
Now we cannot view the Portal Content Directory. Is there any method to fix this by going to a URL.
We tried - http://myServer:50000/irj/portal?NavigationTarget=ROLES://portal_content/administrator/content_admin/worksets/com.sap.portal.content_admin_ws/com.sap.portal.content_admin_wsExplorer and it did not work.

Hi,
You can resolve by using the steps below:
1. Create a transport package for the Default framework page in a system where the properties are correct . Export the epa file and save locally
2. Login to the Portal where the properties have been messed up.
3. On the same Browser window change the URL to
http://<server>:<port>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.pcd.admintools.import.default
This should open the Import Transport application
4. Import the local transport .
5. Logout and login again to the portal.

JDE World - Integration methods, Change Data Capture

Can anyone let me know how I can know real time data changes in JD Edwards World tables.
1. Are there any tables in JDE World or DB2 where I can find change data capture information?
2. How about using DB2 triggers on the JDE World tables?
3. Or is there any other method that I can do this?

What backend database are you using, what tools do you intend to use to get at the data? With an Oracle backend there may be a variety of options.
By 'real time' do you mean immediately or within 5 minutes, 30 minutes ?

App store payment method change

I tried to buy some paid apps with different payment method. However, it keeps saying that there is error message.

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on an iOS device (iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch) then you could try tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Store on iOS 6+) and selecting 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

Installer update method changes every time i update an adobe product!

hello, it is REALY anoying, that the user have to set/chose the update method e.g. "Notify me to install updates" EVERY TIME you update adobe products!!! Because Adobe Installer resets these settings every time, they offer a new product update (adobe flash or adobe reader e.g.).
I dont wont to "Allow Adobe to install updates"!!! I only want to be notified about new updates! So I have to read every time the options again to choose the right option.
Another alternative would be to me, not to install product updates, but I think this is not what adobe wants the user should chose.
