Methods to report backup status of CUCM

Is there any methods out there that allows the reporting of CUCM backup status via DRS. I want to report on backup status (eg the backup history page in DRS). I can't see any way of getting this info out apart from scraping the DRS Web page. Checked the data dictionary for any tables that might contain job history but nothing is too obvious atm.
I realise you can get the system to email out job failures/issues but there seems to be no way to email status whether it be success or failure.

Would you mind telling me how you are getting the SNMP trap notifications for DRS? I'm in the same situation would like to know if there is a MIB/OID which can be checked. I know you can send the syslog message under alarm->drs and send to a remote syslog server. But would much rather be able to via SNMP to alert on failures.

We recently moved a report to production and got the following error (500 Internal Error) when executing from Query designer

Check your Query in RSRT properties tab and make necessary settings.
Do OLAP check in RSCRM_BAPI t-code. It will show the inconsistencies in your query.......

My requirement is like after running the payment run(F110) for certain company code(for only one company code) it should trigger Z program which will fulfil my requirement.How to configure Z report .

Hi Raj,
Check the program attached to this transaction.At end of the processing in this program add a statement to sumbit your z program. But for this you need to have the access key to change the standard program which is not recommended. But if there is no option then we may have to follow this in order to satisfy the business requirement.

Execution method of report created using Web Intelligence

Hi everyone,
Could anyone please let me know of the way data in a report created as web intelligence document is refreshed? Is it real-time data each time the report is executed or do I have to explicitly hit the "Refresh" button in order to get latest data?
In case data is cached and renewed only when "Refresh" is clicked, which execution of the report is taken for the cache - let's say in case 100 users access the same report.

You don't have to refresh every time there is new data, it is real-time. It should automatically refreshed.
if your universe is created on the BI query, in BI there is caching you can enable in rsrt and that will take care of it. I am not sure if there is any caching mechanism in Webi.

Through twitter I learned that you use CP6 and that you want that message on each question slides during ReviewMode.
In CP6 system variable cpInReviewMode is not yet there. Create a user variable v_review, with a default value of 0. You'll have to toggle it to 1 when in Review Mode. That can be done using the system variable cpQuizInfoAttempts. When comparing its value to the total number of attempts, you know if you'll be getting in Review mode when getting back at the Score slide:

Yeah, it is a bit confusing.
What you can try doing is creating dynamicStreamingResource and specify start time and end time.
var resource:DynamicStreamingResource = new DynamicStreamingResource(VideoItem.base);
resource.clipStartTime = startTime;
resource.clipEndTime = endTime;
The only problem is you will not be able to seek before the start time...

Assigning Data-Type Select-Option from Report to Method

Hi Specialists,
How can I solve the following task smart? Its a quiet simple task. In my Report Ive some Select-Option-Data-Types and I want to assign this data-type an Abpab-Object-Method. Is it possible to do this in a smart fashion. Ive fight with the Abap-Syntax und at the end Ive found a tricky way of assigning the Select-Option parameter to the Abap-Object-Method.
If somebody have a smart idea for this problem, pleas let me know.

Exporting report as PDF and CSV formats same time with out executing DB query twice

I am using Crystal Report 9.0 version and Java.
I am getting "PrintOutputController" from "ReportClientDocument"
And then by calling export(ReportExportFormat.PDF) generating PDF format report.
Now I need to generate both PDF and CSV format files same time. How can it be done?
My understanding is when we call "export" it does the DB query execution and other functionality.
In that case, if I call "export" two times with two different formats, then DB query will be executed twice and that takes lot of time.
To avoid, is there a way I can all some API so DB query executed once, but I can export report in to multiple formats?
I appreciate your help.

Are you using the "pull" or "push" method for your crystal reports? If you are using the "pull" method (the report itself executes the sql) then I believe there is no way around having the query execute twice since it is fired off each time you open and export the report.
If you use the "push" method, however, then you can just create the recordset/dataset and then set the datasouce once for the report.
Here's a broad overview of push and pull though the Crystal Report Viewer is used. The viewer may or may not be applicable in your case:

Get blank report in Crystal Report Viewer when exporting to PDF

I have an application that creates reports in the CrystalReportViewer while at the same time exports a PDF of that report. I am having a problem in which
performing the export causes the report in the ReportViewer and the PDF report to be blank. They have the header and column labels but no data. If I
comment out the Me.Export(reportExportOptions) line at the end of the exportPDFReport method the report in the ReportViewer works fine, displaying
data on the report.
I have other forms that perfrom this same type of function on different reports and work fine. In fact they use the same exportPDFReport method. This leads
me to believe that a difference in the reports may be causing the problem. But I can't figure out why.
I am using .net 3.5 with Crystal Reports 2008 (CR2008) full edition in Visual Studio 2008. Although the reports that work were probably created using
VS 2005 and the VS 2005 edition of Crystal, and which have since been updated to CR2008.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, how did you resolve it?

Pretty much.
Seems I had at one time hard coded a record selection statement that I forgot to remove which caused the report to be blank. That solved my problem, but there still seems to be an issue in that the Crystal Report Viewer performed differently when I tried to export to PDF (no records displayed) then when I didn't (records displayed).

"Failed to open report" error while running reports using Crystal Report

We have a web application develeoped in ASP.Net, SQL Server 2005 , Crystal Reports 10.0. Sometimes if a large number of users run reports from their individual nodes they receive an error "Failed to open report ", if we restart the IIS they are able to run the reports. In addition to this the users also sometimes get the error "Maximum Report limit attained". Can any one provide me with a solution other than restarting the IIS.

Use the close and dispose method for Report object. Its a best practice to code also gc.collect for garbage collection.
