Meu Ipad é o 3, com iOS 5.1.1, somente wi-fi.
O Itunes já é o 11.
Antes eu consegui sincronizar músicas do Itunes com o Ipad sem problemas.
Mas agora não consigo.O Itunes diz que não é possível conectar-se ao Ipad.O que devo fazer?

Comprei dois iPhone 4S nos Estados Unidos, passados 1 ano e 02 meses, os dois pararam de funcionar o Wifi, simplesmente não ativa! Liguei no suporte da Apple e eles fizeram vários procedimentos para tentar solucionar o problema, mas sem sucesso. Mesmo o telefone com a garantia expirada, a Apple abriu uma excessão para realizar a troca dos aparelhos. Fica maravilhado com a atitude da Apple, mas infelizmente com exatamente 01 mês e 15 dias um dos aparelhos apresentou o mesmo problema. Liguei novamente no suporte e eles vão trocar o aparelho, pois deram 90 dias de garantia! Aí faço um questionamento, como pode três aparelhos apresentar o mesmo problema?
Será que a Apple está perdendo qualidade em seus produtos?
O pior é que terei novamente que deixar o aparelho na assistência e aguardar a chegada do novo, enquanto isso fico incomunicável!!!
E outro aparelho, será que vai dar o mesmo problema?
Totalmente desconfiado dos aparelhos da Apple, pois fazemos um investimento alto para ser ter um bom aparelho, e acontece essas coisas! Vou fazer uma pesquisa do Galaxy S4, para ver se o produto é melhor e me oferece menos problemas!

If it's an Intel Mac, you can upgrade it to Mac OS X 10.6.8.
If it's a PowerPC Mac, you need to use these instructions and/or iTunes Match to put content on the iPad.

Usually 'authentication required' means that you need to submit a username (or e-mail address) and password to the e-mail server, when sending a message. This logic is not different between Outlook and Thunderbird, and even with the latest and previous version of Thunderbird.
Of course you can try the previous version again to see if it solves the problem, although you'll be less secure because you would be missing the latest fixes.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

ITunes 12.0.1 crashes when restoring iPad 3 iOS 8.1

I updated our iPad 3 (err the new iPad) to iOS 8.1. In order to do so, I had to do the full restore process. We use W7P64.
iTunes now crashes all the time, so we have an iPad with black apps "waiting", and unstable iTunes 12.0.1, it crashes after about 1 minute. Great. Unstable iTunes, useless iPad.
Here's the error:
I've tried reinstalling iTunes, turning on "Prevent Devices from Syncing Automatically"
Any other suggestions appreciated. iTunes folder is on a network drive.

Despite resetting iPad, uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes, Shift+Start iTunes and use a mapped drive for iTunes library, it still crashes when syncing. The only way to keep iTunes working, and remove the "Waiting" icons on 50+ apps, was to
Check "Prevent Devices from Syncing Automatically"
Uncheck "Sync over WiFi" when the device is connected in iTunes
I then deleted the "waiting" apps one by one, will reinstall from the iPad app store.
WP8.1 is just getting so much better, more quickly, than the iOS environment...

I've just updated my iPad to iOS 7.02 and I'm not able now to download new apps nor update the version of the existing ones. All of them are "waiting"... for ever.Even, when trying to download a new app, a "dratf" icon appears on the ipad, not the app's own icon...
I've tried to switch off and on the iPad, disconnect and reconnect the itunes id... and nothing works. Even deleting an app, to download it again, doesn't work. It even doesn't ask for my password!!! (Stays with the small square with a circle around, the one that gets "bolder" while downloading... but it doesn't get bolder now. Just stay...).
Any suggestions? I wouldn't like to reset the iPad, since I've got data in some apps that I wouldn't like lo loose...
By the way, I can not either delete some apps with thos "draft" icons... even when the alert that appears when trying to do that is shown and select "ok".

Thank you, Once_was_lost, but it doesn't work either. I tried it yesterday as an option (I think you're referring to the options of those apps in the settings app).
The problems are still here... I've been able to update some apps using the PC itunes (connecting the app to it), but all the other apps are still "wating", and I have two new strange things:
* I cannnot remove the apps that are downloading (at least those that are supposed to be downolading ) . But I could remove one from the PC... and now there is an "empty line" in the "to update apps list".
* Stranger: though I cannot download new apps or music from the store, I can do in-app purchases!!! In that case, I'm asked for the password and the item downloads. How is it possible?????
I can download with the same user in the PC, in the iPhone... but not in the iPad .
I'm getting mad...

If both accounts are authorised on your computer's iTunes (Store > Authorise This Computer) then you can download the books from both accounts to there (download the books from one account, then sign out of it via Store > Sign Out, log in with the other account via Store > Sign In and download the books from the other account), and sync them over to the iPad's iBooks app via the Books tab.
Or you might be able to sign out of your account on the iPad by tapping on it Settings > Store and sign in with the other account and download the books from that account - I think that it should work, but it's not something that I've tried so I'm not 100% sure that it will

I can't update my 3rd generation ipad to ios 8

I want to update my 3rd generation iPad to iOS 8 through the OTA update. I have enough space as it requires 5.8GB and I have almost 10 GB. I clicked on download and install. It did download the iOS update file and then it says, "Preparing Update." In that part, it is very slow and suddenly it freezes then reboots my device to apple logo. When it goes back, it still says, "Preparing Update" and then it will freeze again and reboot. I don't know what to do. I want to have iOS 8 so bad. I have enough space and I don't run apps on the background. I have this problem over a day now. I even tried deleting the iOS 8 file and re-download it but same thing happens.
