MEX-BT3100P How to disable beeps when switching to Bluetooth

I use my iPhone for navigation, and it switches to Bluetooth automatically to speak the directions. The MEX-BT3100P beeps twice and takes too long when switching to Bluetooth as the source. So I miss the first few words from the navigation directions.
How can I disable the beeps? And/or speed up the switching to Bluetooth?

Sony® head units produce a beep sound when buttons are pressed. To mute the beep sounds, simultaneously press the SEL or SOUND button and the 6 button on the head unit at the same time. Pressing these buttons a second time will restore the beep function.
NOTES:
The beep function can not be activated when connected to an external amplifier.
This procedure encompasses most Sony® head units. However, consult the instruction manual for specific information if necessary.

Disable the following;
1^st^. Annoying beep when you press one of the shortcut buttons on the left (e.g. volume).
2^nd^. Displayed shortcut buttons (e.g. mouse disable).
- When playing a game and press one of the shortcut buttons (e.g. mute), it minimises the game and displays an annoying icon (mute).
3^rd^. Shortcut buttons on the left of keyboard.
- They are good buttons, when I'm not using them, they are very sensitive and accidently press them.

The beep sound of illumination buttons you can disable in BIOS (BIOS setup > Advanced > System Configuration). There is an option called Beep Sound.
Generally speaking you can also disable all illumination buttons in BIOS, after this you will not see such shortcut buttons anymore but only disabling the icons only is not possible.

My works require to listen many audio sources - that is way I get Audigy 2. When I mute (or unmite) Line In (and some other inputs) Audigy 2 make smoothness increase/decrease audio level. It is fine for many users, but I do NOT want it. I need imediately actions.

I have same problem. Sound card automatically makes fade-in during recording from line-in. So I can't record my guitar. Each recorded sound has increased volume in the beginning. How to disable such feature? Does anybody know?

How to disable alarms when iCal is off

Hi all,
I might be missing something here, but I believe there used to be two settings to turn off alarms in 10.4 and 10.5:
1) disable all alarms
2) disable alarms when iCal is off
Did option 2) disappear in 10.6? I am really missing this feature.

I too would like to know a way around this problem. In the prior version of iCal, you could enable alarms only when iCal was running. I routinely sync three computers, sometimes hours to days apart. So unless I remember to turn alarms off prior to shutting down the machines, the alarms are not properly updated upon syncing when an idle machine is turned back on.
Hope this makes sense. Either way, it would have been better if Apple had not gotten rid of this feature in the new iCal.

When the Z3C is paired via bluetooth with my car audio system, the Z3C playes a different ringtone then the one which I have set as default.
How can I change (set) the ringtone when the Z3C is connected in my car?

I have an application with 5 buttons that each play or pause

How to keep color when switching from RGB to Indexed Color Mode?

I'm working in Photoshop CS6
In Photoshop I've designed a custom crop screen for use in Magic Lantern (a program that runs with Canon cameras) The project is in 8bit RGB and to be able to use it (in Magic Lantern) I have to change it to Indexed Color (using a an .act file provided fom them) Then I have to save it as a .bmp. When I chnage from RGB to Indexed color (loading the .act file) the color in my Photoshop project turns to grey.
I haven't worked with Indexed colors or changing the color mode etc.
My question is... how can I keep the color (or a color similar, compatible color) to what I created in RGB when I convert it to Indexed Color using the .act file?
Any suggestions?

How to disable tagging when reading a doc in Acrobat 9 Pro?

I recently installed Acrobat 9 Pro, and it insists on enabling accessibility features when I don't need them.
Whenever I open an untagged document for reading it starts tagging, which can be very slow for large documents.
I found the option "Confirm before tagging documents", but this is annoying -- how do I get it to neither tag nor ask?

No, you don't need to use LiveCycle Designer. To create a form, first create the PDF and open it in Acrobat. You can then add the form fields by selecting: Forms > Add or Edit Fields
It will ask you if you want Acrobat to attempt to create fields automatically where it thinks they should be. The form will then be opened in form editing mode and you can add/edit the fields.

How to reset data when switching between two subforms

I have two subforms that are either shown or hidden based on a radio button selection.
If Radio Button "1" is selected, subform1 is visible and subform2 is hidden and vice-versa.
This is hard for me to explain, so please bear with me.
What I want to do is to clear the subform fields if you switch back and forth between subforms.
For example:
1.     Click Button "1" (subform1 visible)
2.     Fill in subform1 fields.
3.     Click Button "2" (subform1 now hidden)
4.     Click Button "1" (subform1 is visible and fields are blank)
I found the below script in another post for a similar problem. I put it as a "click" event for each Radio Button Item, but I'm not sure where it's supposed to go as the other post didn't say. It works but it clears the entire form, not just the subform fields.

Can anyone tell me the proper script to make my form work?
Please keep it simple. The extent of my JavaScript knowledge is basically cut and past and hope it works. If it does work, it's by the grace of God only. I couldn't tell you the difference between a SOM and an node.

Document Hierarchy:
Subform path & script: (I'm assuming I need one for each subform)

I've tried putting the script inside the curly brackets, outside the curly brackets, at various locations within the above script, but no matter where I put it, it clears the entire form.
Would you be so kind as to re-write the above script properly so I can see what it's supposed to look like.

How to disable touchpad when usb mouse in on HP ENVY dv7-7259nr Notebook PC‏ using Windows 7

I would like to have my touch pad disabled when using my USB mouse or otherwise be able to manually disable it. It is a pain to use when typing with the touch pad enabled but I would like to use the touch pad on occasions such as when I am traveling or if my mouse goes out. Not to mention, I would need to re-enable the touh pad if for some reason I have no mouse (keyboard shortcut?)

You should consider returning you notebook to the Windows 8 OS. There are many new features that it has that Windows 7 never did. Download use the free open source software called classic shell to give yourself a start button in Windows 8 that even has more features than Windows 7 start buton does. Once you use Windows 8 for a while you will enjoy it, especially the refresh feature and lower memory use.
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Windows 7 drivers.
