Mexican Government report .. New
Has anyone done any work or has a solution to generate from SAP FICO AP the report that is required from August 17th 2007 in Mexico? Report is called 'Declaration Informativa de Operaciones con Terceros.
is basically a monthly statutory report looking for payments to suppliers, VAT payments, Customs payments etc
Hi Allan,
Probably, you´re talking about the A-29 format "'Declaration Informativa de Operaciones con Terceros". This report isn´t available. We´re working to release the corrections asap. Currently, the program is in phase of tests and if don´t appear any problem with the tests until end of this month the corrections will be available.
Thanks,
Paulo Evaristo

Mexico government reporting requirement
Hi
Based on the NAFTA agreement and Maquiladora decree, there is a legal requirement of Mexican government to report out the goods imported, its BOM, its consumption or value add service, its export as finished goods. This is required to check the tax liabilities or import duties which are about 15%.
In case goods are imported from US without paying any tax, consumed to manufacture finished goods and only part of finished products are sold back to US, then company needs to be report the same and pay the relevant taxes on the same. (the balance finished goods could get sold locally or exported to some other country).
There are standard applications or packages that do this, wanted to check if there is a standard solution for this in SAP?
I would like to know if any of our clients do this similar reporting in SAP. OR has it always been better & cheaper to go for external application rather than building the reports in SAP?
Thanks
DineshHi Dinesh,
Have you found anything standard realted to the NAFTA process in SAP? What I know of is there is another module called GTS which also speaks about NAFTA.
If you have anything other than GTS please let me know as I'm also looking for the same thing in SAP.
Thank you,

Profit Center Accounting Reports - New GL
I've done the configuration and setup for the Profit Center accounting reports (new GL) in ecc 6 and I'm having an outstanding issue.
If I attempt to run the reports via their transaction code, ie S_E38_98000088 I have no problems. Access/authorization is fine and the desired result is achieved. If I navigate the SAP Easy Menu to Accounting -> Financial Accounting -> General Ledger -> Information System -> General Ledger Reports (New) I don't see the "Reports for Profit Center Accounting folder.
If I go to se43 and look at the S000 areamenu, the path is there. I've tried with a user account that has wide open access to everything and I still don't see it. Is there any configuration that needs to be done to get this menu path to display to the end user?
Any help/suggestions are greatly welcomed.
Regards,
ElderI think this comes with Enterprise Business Function FIN_GL_CI_1, t-code SFW5. Read the documentation in SFW5, those Reports are there.
Good luck. -
Profit Center Values in FBL5N report - New GL Activated
Hello,
We have new GL Account being activated. In FBL5N, the profit center field is not being filled.
The profit center is maintained at Sales Order Line Item Level.
My Questions:
1) Why the profit center is not being populated in FBL5N, though the profit center field is available in the FBL5N Layout. (Profit center is maintained at sales order item level). Since the profit center is activated the system writes the line items to FAGLFLEXA and totals to FAGLFLEXT, do I need to depends on these tables only to know my customers.
2) For FBL3N the equivalent is FAGLL03, like that what is the equivalent report for FBL5N
3) Do we need to see the line item report for reconciliation account - FAGLL03 and include the customer into the line item layout.
4) When the new GL Accounting is activated, will the profit center line items are not written to GLPCA and GLPCT tables.
Which transaction code I can check whether FI and PCA is balanced (I know it gets balanced but where can I check this) - Like KE5T in Classical Profit Center Accounting.
Thanks in advance for your inputs.
Regards,
RaviHi,
Thanks for the SNote. But now I am in a fix.
Note says that if I use the new GL and document splitting then I should not use the EC-PCA.
But my client do not want the cost center allocations to come in FI due to Regulatory constraints i.e no CO-FI reconciliation, however want to see the profitability at profit center level, as well as balance sheet at profit center level.
If I use EC-PCA for giving profitability at at profit Center level then I will not be able to use document splitting in New GL to give the balance sheet at profit center level.
And if I use New GL then I cannot give the profitability at profit center level as allocations are not there in FI.
Have anybody faced a similar issue, if yes can throw a light on the same.
Thanks & Regards,

Bug Report: New conversation window stills the sys...
Bug Report: Skype Desktop: New conversation window stills the system/keyboard focus.
When the UI is in multi-window mode and a conversation window pops up (due for example to a newly received chat message), that window steals the system/keyboard focus, even though it appears in a minimized state in the Windows taskbar. And this should not happen by default, because it is impractical (especially for screen reader users). And it didn't happen in Skype 6.21 and earlier. But since the new UI was introduced officially in Skype 7.0, it started happening constantly.
Steps to reproduce it:
1. From "View" menu, activate the "Split Window View", if it is not already enabled.
2. From Tools -> Options -> IM & SMS -> IM settings, enable "Open a new window when I receive a new message in Split Window View", if it is not already enabled.
3. From Tools -> Options -> Advanced, activate "Enable accessible mode", if it is not already enabled.
4. Activate the "Save" button, to save the changes.
5. Close all windows, related to Skype. You may keep only the main window opened.
6. Move the system focus to another application.
7. Tell someone to send you a chat message. When the message arrives and the conversation window pops up minimized in the Windows Taskbar, everything seams to be as it should. A few seconds after that however, the system/keyboard focus gets moved to that new conversation window, even though it is neither restored/maximized (it is minimized), nor it is visible on the screen (except as a button in the taskbar).
Actual results:
When a new conversation window pops up in the Windows taskbar, it stills the system/keyboard focus to itself from the currently focused application.
Expected results:
Skype's popping up new conversation windows should not still the system/keyboard focus to themselfs from the currently focused application.
Test environment:
- Operating system: Windows 8.1 Pro N, 64-bit, in Bulgarian with all locale settings set to "Bulgarian".
- Skype version: 7.0.0.102 for Desktop. This is a known problem, but Skype have not given us an estimated time for a fix.
Traditionally, Skype updates have been roughly monthly, so we are due a new version sometime soon. Many of us here are hoping that is has a bunch of fixes for the UI, the focus problem being one of them.

Can't add database field or text object to a report (new and existing)
We have Crystal Report 8.5 and when trying to modify an existing report or create a new report, I can't seem to add any database fields or text objects in my report. I get a prohibition symbol (circle with a backslash inside it) when I hover over the report. Has anyone encoutered something like this? Any suggestions? Thank you.
Do you have two monitors?
I had this problem if I tried to open crystal in the second monitor, move it back to primary monitor and it should be OK.

How to report new master data in place of old master data in a report
Hi Everyone,
I have 0vendor master data which contains both old and new vendor numbers. I have transaction data that refers to both new and old vendor numbers. In my report I want to see the new vendor numbers with transaction data and new vendor number in place of old vendor number with transaction data. How do I achieve that? Can anyone shed some light on that. I have tried various scenarios but none of them working.
Thanks,
Wen.HI Wen,
do you mean to say that you need some kind of mapping of old to new vendor numbers? In that case you could create a navigational attribute of the vendor and put in the new vendor number for both new and old numbers and then use this attribute to navigate and display.

How can I the report new page?
If I want a new page after report has printed 50 lines, then on 51 line, I want to have a new page, what should I do in Oracle Reports?

Capucine KongBetter yet, in your repeating group with the details, set the Maximum Records Per Page to 50. It would print at most 50 on each page.

BEx Analyzer report "New Formula", "Scaling Factor" property not working
Hi Experts,
I have created a New Formula(Ex:- Dispatches * 2) in BEx Analyzer report. The result of the "New Formula" is 2000. When I maintain Scaling Factor as "1000" to the New Formula properties, the result should be 2 but here 2000 is coming again.
When I maintain this property to the existing keyfigure in Analyzer report, it is working fine.
Please help me in this whether Scaling Factor can be applied to the New Formula or not in BEx Analyzer report. If it works, what changes we have to make to the New formula.
SAPKW73010 is applied already to SAP BW-730
Please see the attachment.Sree,
Is the variable ABC the new one that you've created with Scaling factor setting given? The message you get on doing a syntax check on the query indicates that settings are ignored for use beyond the query.
And if this is the case, this is a known issue.
However such settings will work on existing keyfigures as it is in your case.
What you can hence do for this new variable is that if you are developing reports on top of this bex query, you can make the scaling factor setting at the report level.
Let me know if this works for you.

Re: Report painter - Creation of Profit center report (New GL enabled)
Hello all,
I am trying to create profit center report using report painter. I am trying to create formula variable to show the cumulative values for the elements assigned to the profit center.
I want to get values for cumulative period ie for eg if i give 12 as period on selection screen i want to get the cumulative value for per 1 + per 2 + per 3+ per 4 + ......... + per12.
I did the following for getting the cumulative values for period.
1. created Formula variable ZPER01 with formula '#S006'
2. created formula variable ZPER02 with formula IF 'ZPER01' > 1 THEN 'ZPER01' + 1 else 17.
3. IF 'ZPER02' > 1 THEN 'ZPER01' + 'ZPER02' + 1 ELSE 17
3. continued the creation until ZPER16 with formula IF 'ZPER05' > 1 THEN 'ZPER01' + 'ZPER02' +
'ZPER03' + 'ZPER04' + 'ZPER05' + 'ZPER06' + 'ZPER07' + 'ZPER08' + 'ZPER09'+ 'ZPER09' + 'ZPER10' + 'ZPER11' + 'ZPER12' + 'ZPER13' + 'ZPER14' + 'ZPER15'+ 1 ELSE 17
Could you pls help me with your inputs.
Many thanks.
Regards,
Pabbi.Hi,
You can copy your Report Writer or Report Painter reports from Profit Center Accounting to new General Ledger Accounting. This is possible for standard reports as well as your own reports. A corresponding tool supports you in this.
Prerequisites
In classic Profit Center Accounting, you have standard reports or your own reports that you want to copy.
To be able to use the Report Writer reports or the Report Painter reports in new General Ledger Accounting, you need to have assigned the scenario Profit Center Update to at least one ledger in Customizing for Financial Accounting (New).

BUG REPORT: new 10g Driver throws SQLExcpetion
So far, i just replaced my old ORACLE JDBC driver jar file with a new version. Of course, i use the classes12.jar to be used by JDK 1.3. This worked for all the 9.xxx Drivers. Now, i tried to use the classes12.jar from the new "10g" Driver (10.1.0.2.0) but it doesn't work anymore. The first simple SELECT statement throws this error:

For the simple select statement:
select REF_CLASS, REF_CODE, REF_TEXT_DE from refset order by REF_CLASS,REF_CODE
so, nothing special. Going back to the last 9.x driver, it works again. Is the 10g driver knwon to be buggy?

Hi All,
I am using BI 7.0 version, which scenerios are u creating this both following below.
1) When are u creating in Keyfigure(column) Newstructure, New formula and New selection.
2) When are u creating in Characters(rows) Newstructure, New formula and New selection.
How to create this both, and is the use of advantage in Reporting.
Please provide solutions ASAP.
Thanks & Regards,
Vijaay. You can only create selection, formula inside a structure.
When you create 2 structures in the query, the cell tab is enabled, thus you can define cells.
Usually you can put all your fomulas and selections in the key figure structure, if this is sufficient for you.
But in many cases, you may need a cross table like following:
key figure1, formula, selection of color Red, selection of most important customer
selection year 2001 .....
selection year 2002 .....
another formula ....
That is, you need selections and formulas on both row and column
In this case you have to create the second structure in row, as I said before, you can only define formula/selection inside a strucrture. -
Bug report: new TLDs do not highlight as links
Typing in a URL such as http://example.website or http://example.london does not highlight it as a link. The regex you use should be more permissive for URLs; not everything is .com/.org/etc.
This got fixed, was working for a couple of months, and now has stopped working again.
Has support for new TLDs been removed deliberately, or was this just an oversight?
Oh, sorry, I didn't read the thread hierarchy title... I was talking about the Windows version not the Mac version, although for all I know the same applies there.
